This is a very brief book, which has advantages and disadvantages. I read it In only a week, in about four reading chunks. When I started reading it energized me--I was looking (and finding!) ways in which my own school was developing resiliency in students and staff. But as I continued reading, I became more glassy eyed at the text.

I should admit that I am struggling as a school counselor to maintain my resiliency and to foster it in those around me. (It's the end of the school year, and a challenging one at that!)

Despite whatever funk I have found myself, I believe that resiliency literature and practices are the key for our struggling educators and students. It's a quick enough book to read and see if you catch something.
