Dame Agatha Mary Clarissa Christie, Lady Mallowan, DBE (née Miller) was an English writer known for her 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections, particularly those revolving around fictional detectives Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. She also wrote the world's longest-running play, the murder mystery The Mousetrap, which has been performed in the West End of London since 1952. A writer during the "Golden Age of Detective Fiction", Christie has been called the "Queen of Crime". She also wrote six novels under the pseudonym Mary Westmacott. In 1971, she was made a Dame (DBE) by Queen Elizabeth II for her contributions to literature. Guinness World Records lists Christie as the best-selling fiction writer of all time, her novels having sold more than two billion copies.

This best-selling author of all time wrote 66 crime novels and story collections, fourteen plays, and six novels under a pseudonym in romance. Her books sold more than a billion copies in the English language and a billion in translation. According to Index Translationum, people translated her works into 103 languages at least, the most for an individual author. Of the most enduring figures in crime literature, she created Hercule Poirot and Miss Jane Marple. She atuhored The Mousetrap, the longest-running play in the history of modern theater.

كان مجموعة قصص مشتته ... الفكرة الاساسية ان الاشباح وهم هي مجرد افكار منبتدعها و بنعطيها حجم اكبر من حجمها

هذا الكتاب النسخه العربيه ل the mysterious mr.Quin باختصار و لم يتم ذكر كل الاحداث و القصص

الكتاب عبارة عن مجموعة قصص مترابطة فيما بعضها نوعا ما, يترأس بطولتها شخصيتين رئيسيتين محللتين لكافة الوقائع الغريبة التي تحتل هذا الكتاب وهما مستر ساترثويت و مستر كوين الغامض.
هذين الأخيرين يحلان قضايا جرائم قتل بدت في اول الامر كأنها انتحار او ذات علاقة بأمور خارقة للطبيعة كالأشباح, لكنهم بتجميع التفاصيل وطريقتهم التحليلية الذكية يجدون القتلة الحقيقيين.
الرأي:"لا أعلم ما ينقص هذه المجموعة بالضبط لكن رغم أن بعض أحداثها كانت غريبة وغامضة, إلا أنني لم أشعر حتى بتلك المتعة القليلة التي شعرتها في روايتي الكاتبة السابقتين.
ربما لان الاحداث حبكت بشكل سريع للغاية وحتى النهايات وإيجاد الحلول كانت بطريقة سريعة ووجيزة بحيث أًصبحت الوقائع والقصص تعطي نوعا ما اِنطباعا عن الفتور والملل.. شيئا لم أعهده في كتابات أغاثا.. ولربما حتى للمراهقين لن تكون قصص مثيرة وستظل بشكل ما ناقصة.. عني شخصيا لا أنصح به"

لم تعجبنى فكرة حل الجرائم بعد مرور العديد والعديد من السنوات بالاضافة الى أن فكرة التحول من متفرج فى
مسرح الحياة الى شخص فعال فيه لم تعد ذات بريق لتكرارها

مستوى القصص بعيد كل البعد عن مستوى اعمال اجاثا كرستى، فالاثارة مفقودة و كل الالغاز متوقعه و سهل التنبؤ بحلولها. لا مبرر للمستوى الضعيف للمجموعة سوى ان تكون اولى محاولات اجاثا فى الكتابة.
