No matter how much you read, or what genre is your favorite, there will always be an author that just delivers magic, pure romantic magic. A. J. Nuest is THAT kind of author. Caedmon’s Curse continues an action-packed, romantic series of novellas that will carry you away from this world and put you right in the middle of the world magic, mirrors, love and deceit. Looking for romantic tension? Its here, between Rowena and Caedmon, who, in spite of Rowena’s memory loss, proves that love is stronge ...more

I don’t write many reviews because I can never seem to get my thoughts in order or write something more meaningful than ‘I loved it’. But…

This is a fabulous third installment in the Golden Key Chronicles. I truly believe that fantasy romance is where Ms. Nuest’s voice lies. These stories are so well written, I experience everything as if I were right there with Rowena. I won’t give away any plot secrets as I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this one, but it’s just as good or better than the

Don't plan to breathe when you start this book. There's no time.
Honestly, if there were more than 5 stars, I would give them to Caedmon's Curse and the whole Golden Key Chronicles. So well written, the story flows seamlessly from one danger to the next. The romance between Caedmon and Rowena is sexy, honest, and fresh. Rowena is a heroine anyone would want on their side, and Caedmon...well, he's to-die-for! Together, their relationship is as perfect as the story. This series is absolutely astoni

I received this book from the author in exchange for a honest review.

I want to thank the author for letting me read and review this series. I really appreciate it.

Another exciting installment in The Golden Key Chronicles. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Story: This book picks up where the last ended. Rowena is on a journey to Castle Seviere to retrieve the key. If you remember in the last book, she overheard Prince Caedmon and Fandorn surmising that the key is tied to her memori

Rowena has escaped the castle and the dangers that lay within, only to find that beyond the castle walls lie more threats than she could have imagined. She's also yet to escape Caedmon's grasp, but perhaps that is not such a bad thing. The two journey together, reconnecting in more ways than one, as Rowena seeks the key to unlock her memories.

I absolutely adored the first two in this series, with Rowena’s Key being one of my favorite romance reads of 2013, so I had high hopes (read: desperate cr

The two years Prince Caedmon spent suffering in the dungeons of Seviere's keep at the hands of a wizard, left him with plenty of scars marring his back. But it also left him with the knowledge of the secret behind the key, with Rowena's memories of the past lost, he is the only one who understands the grim connection between the key and his love.

Rowena leaves the castle on her quest, but Caedmon catches up to her easily. He is torn between telling her the truth and risking their future, but agr

This book is definitely my favorite in the series (at least so far)! I was sucked into this magical story and literally stayed up way to late to finish it because I simply could not put it down.

It was gripping, action packed, emotional, and super steamy!

To start, I love our characters. Rowena and Caedmon have most definitely grown on me. Rowena is still her feisty, but strong self, and I'm so glad to see her develop this way. Caedmon has remained true to his swoon-worthy self. As a pair, they ar

The third instalment of The Golden Key Chronicles has got to be the best yet! Finally Rowena has seen sense, without wanting to give anything away I just love AJ Nuest way of writing steamy fantasy romance.

Rowena is definitely a woman I aspire to be, she's so strong and independent and can definitely look after herself and has grown into her character from the first in the series. You can't help but like her. And Caedmon *sigh* I wis

If you follow my blog, you will know how much I love AJ Nuest’s The Golden Key Chronicles. Caedmon’s Curse is the third part in this series. Sadly, there is only one more instalment to follow after this one. I could read at least another ten parts in this series – it’s that brilliant!

Caedmon’s Curse is probably my most favourite part so far (after reading the first two parts, I didn’t even know I could love this third part even more…).

Rowena’s and Caedmon’s relationship is tested to the extreme

Oh my goodness the first two books were brilliant but this one just blows your mind, just when you think you've got it worked out how Rowena & Prince Caedmon are going to make their life together A J Neust throws in one of the biggest most unexpected twists to the story you just don't see coming.

Can Braedric's twisted hatred for his half brother get any worse, can Rowena ever really settle into this unwelcoming world or will she forever be lost in time & an outcast. Will Prince Caedmon

Release date is here so here is my 5 star review!!! Love ya AJ!!!!!

If I thought the first two books were great, this book is by far my n my favorite of the 3(but I'm thinking #4 will be by far my favorite ;)

Caedmon was not about to let his "beloved" out there in the "wilderness" by herself to fight off Seviere's men. Rowena is a true fighter and definitely can take care of herself, but Caedmon was a great help.

What a rush! This novella is action packed and suspenseful with enough romance to make your heart soar. The illustrative language that Nuest uses paints a beautiful picture for the reader. It is so easy to get lost in this world alongside the characters. Nuest develops everything to its fullest, without losing the action of the story in descriptions. The entire story is in perfect balance.

The stark contrast between the two main characters is absolutely breathtaking. It’s also completely comical

I rated both Book 1 and 2 with 4 stars each, to give myself room to find my favorite installment in the series...I think Caedmon's Curse is it!

Rowena and Caedmon reunite and journey into the forbidden Black Forest to escape Braedric's assassins, and then on to Seviere's kingdom to search for the Key...

I really liked the new creatures and mythology introduced in this novella, and there are some bad-ass fight scenes to turn up the action. There's plenty of steamy action too, lol! While Rowena and

Caedmon's Curse left me out of breath in many ways. The fight scenes are vividly and flawlessly written and the same goes for every other moment in the book. There is more fantasy in this book than the first two. With Dreggs, a magical pool and an evil wizard unleashing 'some bad-ass mojo' it is non stop action. And by action, I also mean there is a super hot love scene that was sweet, sexy and even made me laugh a little. #3 is my favorite out of A.J.'s Golden Key Chronicles so far! With only o ...more

I will not put any spoilers on here as I know it hasn't been released yet, but I will say this book is hot, hot, HOT!!! So hot, I really wish I wasn't single. The third book in the series, Caedmon's Curse really delivers. Back is the romance and with it the passion. Action and adventure abound throughout and another twist at the end keeps the story going. Great writing.

*Warning - May contain Spoilers* This book 3 in the series, and they do need to be read in order.

This has only been the 3rd book EVER to make me cry. The first one was Bambi (but that doesn't count b/c I was only 6), the second was book 3 in the Darkangel series, and this one. I don't lie about this stuff b/c I don't really get emotional with this kind of thing. So yeah, I'm serious...

Having now completed the entire series I must say Caedmon’s Curse is my favorite! Although you may start reading out of order, I’d recommend starting this series with book one, Rowena’s Key, to fully appreciate what has happened until now. The romance aspect of the overall story slowed down a bit in the previous installment but I’m happy to report that AJ Nuest definitely turned up the heat! It is equal parts realistic, modern, and oh-so-dreamy. Fantasy elements truly take flight with the introd ...more

Now that is more like it! I enjoyed the previous books in this series, but I really really really enjoyed this one (obvious emphasis on the really...just want to make sure you didn't miss that)!

The story picks up where the second book stops. Rowena desperately wants to leave the castle and so she does. However, the prince is not far behind. I absolutely love the beginning of this book. This is the strong third leg of the series and it leaped into action with a bang. The last story left me invigorated from the action, but stonewalled when Rowena's memory loss and her harsh treatment at the castle left her mistakenly running as fast as she could away from Caedmon. I've enjoyed the rise and fall of the story along with new clues to the shadowy and intriguing threat against Rowena and Caedmon with each new segment and this one was no exception. And yes, like the rest, this portion ...more
