User's Guide to the Bible

This guide is for all those who would like to start reading the Bible, but do not know where to start. Each part is linked to a set of Bible passages to encourage the reader to move on from the guide to reading the Bible itself. It takes the reader through the whole of the Bible, giving him or her scene-setting information, the historical backdrop to each part of the Bible and, most importantly, helps with understanding the message and significance of the Bible.

Christopher J.H. Wright, (born 1947) is a Anglican clergyman and an Old Testament scholar. He is currently the director of Langham Partnership International. He was the principal of All Nations Christian College. He is an honorary member of the All Souls Church, Langham Place in London, UK.
