What a delightful story about an unemployed librarian Ellen Brinson who is desperate begins writing a book from an old Corona typewriter. Henry Morgan is an established publishing agent, is hurting financially because his top author has stopped writing. Now he is desperate for a bestseller book. Ellen gets his attention with her partial manuscript and Henry jumps at it.

I loved this book - I wrote it! But I love it because it is also fun, witty, improbable and entertaining - all reasons to enjoy a book.
It's short - but I also believe a book should stop when the story is finished, not waste the reader's time adding my own impressions of how things should look, what clothes the characters are wearing - that's YOUR privilege. ...more
