As a soon-to-be parent, you'll find that this book provides the information you need to know about caring for a healthy and happy baby. Starting with preparations you should make before your baby is born, you'll go on to find advice on many different topics, including breast- versus bottle-feeding, first baby food, sleep problems, major and minor health issues, and visiting your pediatrician.

A month-by month description of your baby's first year includes detailed discussions of a typical infant's developmental stages:

• By the second month, baby smiles at familiar faces and objects
• By the fourth month, baby starts to move around
• By the ninth month, baby sits up and sees the world from a new perspective
• By the tenth month, baby begins crawling and exploring
• First words and attempts at walking generally occur during the eleventh month
• Walking with confidence usually happens around baby's first birthday

More than 120 color photos plus at-a-glance charts and sidebars supplement the text

Just skimming it. This book provides almost every important aspect that needs to be addressed accordingly. Well, it lives to its name. It provides crucial informations like the developmental milestone, right diet, maternal care, and many more. It's a good book to start with. Plus, it has so many pictures of chubby nuggets inside.
