This was a kind of meandering epilogue to Bring Me Back containing lots of day to day stuff, most of which was sweet, gentle and occasionally poignant rather than action packed, not something that always works for me, yet I really enjoyed this. I like living inside the head of someone for a day or so and that's exactly what this delivered.

Unlike the last book, the clunky, formal smutty scenes were mercifully absent, replaced by lots of authentic romance and affection which I thought suited this

Claire, Chris, Sam, and the rest are back in this follow up novel.

If you fell in love with Claire and Chris in book 1 (like I did!) this book is a wonderful chance to spend more time with the characters.

One thing I enjoyed in this book in particular was the exploration of the familial relationships (while of course there is plenty of exploration of Claire and Chris' love).

In this novel, Claire's life is going through some wonderful changes...but then things start to fall apart.

Once again, Karen

Back Forever is a glimpse of Claire and Chris' HEA. In it, we witness them living their life - trying to have a baby while preparing for Claire's daughter, Sam, to graduate high school and leave for college, trying to plan a wedding while Chris' band is preparing for a comeback, trying to start a new life together while watching the life of a loved one fade away.

There's not too much angst. It's not a complicated story. And yet everything about Back Forever resonates with me. Ms. Boo

This sequel to Bring Me Back shows how an internationally famous rock star conforms to everyday life now that he has found his HEA. Chris does a bang up job as a husband, step dad and ultimately father, in fact sometimes I wished to see his rock star persona come back out, he may have been a little too perfect. Claire on the other hand is dealing with job stresses, a teenage daughter and her father that is trying her patience daily and being pregnant at 40 with a bit more bite to her character. ...more

It is important you read the first book in the series, BRING ME BACK, before you read BACK FOREVER.
In this book, it pretty much starts when BRING ME BACK ended. Claire and Chris are adjusting to life in Chapel Hill. Claire’s father, Richard is living with them and there is something going on with him. He has been acting strangely.

Claire’s daughter, Sam, has felt left out in some of the decisions that Chris and Claire have been making. I know that Sam is a teenager and yes I have to deal with a

It's rare that we get to glimpse a couple's HEA so it's a treat to read Claire and Chris' in BACK FOREVER. Marriage, kids and all the trimmings of the white picket fence dream was present in this sequel. Things got a little overwhelming for everybody because of all the changes that's happening at the same time. Aside from the developments in their personal lives, Chris is planning a tour with his band and Claire's g

After reading Bring Me Back, I wanted and needed an Epilogue. Chris and Claire deserved their happily ever after and I was desperate to read it. Well, with Back Forever, I got that happily ever after and so much more!

Back Forever was fantastic and exactly what I needed to complete the journey of Chris and Claire’s love story. The book offers an extremely realistic and authentic look into the lives of a mature couple who love, live and cope with the pressures of everyday life. The way Chris &

Chris: "I think about fate, about the circumstances that brought us together. I still haven't completely gotten past the idea that I could've lost you a few months ago and it would've been my fault."

This is the sequel to Bring Me Back. This book basically picks up where the first left of. This was life after the happily ever after in my opinion. It follows up on Claire and Chris's plans to have a baby and to begin a life together. A

I absolutely adored Bring Me Back so when I was given the opportunity to review Back Forever I jumped at the chance. I mean really a chance to spend some more time the Chris and Claire total nobrainer. That being said I had high expectations for this book and it totally lived up to them.

I must admit I love a story when it isn't all about getting to the I love you. For me seeing how they cope when they are already in love and happily together is far more more entertaining wh

This book, a sequel to Bring Me Back, finds Claire and Chris having dealt with the issues that nearly drove them apart in book one and eager to move forward.

Karen did a great job of creating characters I could completely relate to. They were real people with dreams and flaws that propelled the story forward and made me root for them to get everything they wanted.

I especially loved the story involving Claire's father and the resolution of that was touching and absolutely perfect. Looking forwar

**I voluntarily received an Advance Reader Copy of this book.**

The second book in this series is just as fantastic as the first. I love this family. They really stick together through good times and bad. It is inspiring to read about a couple who watch out for each other, and have each others backs.

This is a great story and a must read.

The writer and the rock star

It was an okay story. The characters were cute. I like that the author made them middle aged. The ending could have been a little better.

BACK FOREVER, the sequel to Bring Me Back, is the continuation of freelance writer Claire Abby and British rock star Christopher Penman’s story after they get back together.

Unless a book ends with a cliff hanger or numerous loose ends, sequels make me nervous. Many a good character has been mutilated in a sequel. Chris and Claire were reunited and embarking on a baby quest when last I saw them. I was good with that. Then I learned about BACK FOREVER. Ms. Booth had made Claire’s teen dream come t

Bring Me Back and Back Forever by Karen Booth, are the story of two characters struggle to find their HEA with each other, Claire Abby and Christopher Penman. The first book, Bring Me Back, is told from Claire's POV, whereas the second book, Back Forever, switches between the two characters.

In Bring Me Back, we meet our heroine, Claire Abby, who is a struggling freelance writer, mainly for major magazines and the single mother of a teenage girl named Sam, short for Samantha. Claire and Sam have

Back Forever is a continuation of the story of Chris and Claire. We first met this couple in Bring Me Back, and I instantly fell in love with them. If you have ever read a book and just wanted to know what happens next in the couple’s life, you will love everything about this book.

Claire is trying to plan her wedding, desperately trying to give Chris the baby he’s always longed for and deal with her daughter growing up and moving onto college. On top of that her dad’s health is declining and she

Back Forever is the followup to Bring Me Back. It follows to story of Claire Abby, a single mom who is turning 40 (well is now 40). She met her teen crush, when she interviewed him for Rolling Stone magazine. He is 80s British rock legend Christopher Penman.
In book one, their story is told of how they met and fell in love. In Back Forever, it tells the story of their happy ever after. Or as close to it as you can get.
It is more like the happily ever after you get in real life. Kids, work, where

You can’t help but love Claire and Chris…

Back Forever catches us up with Claire and Chris four months after the previous book, Bring Me Back. I was pleasantly surprised to see the book open from Chris’ point of view. In fact the book is told from both Claire and Chris’ POV.

The story of Claire and Chris continues as they bridge two lives into one while planning a wedding, their careers taking off, looking for a larger home, trying to have a baby while also preparing to send a teenager to college

I fell even more in love with Claire, Chris and Sam in Back Forever than I thought was possible. The family is experiencing many ups and downs that are thrown onto their plate. How they handle, manage, and cope made their story relatable and real. How these hurdles are handled or not leave an impact on the family's interactions with one another. A fabulous sequel to BRING ME BACK, one that leaves me sighing for another installment of Chris and Claire. And the way the book ended, there just might be one. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

But I'm getting ahead of myself. Having stayed up late the night before finishing BRING ME BACK because I just couldn't put it down, I couldn't stay awake to finish BACK FOREVER...the spirit was willing, but the flesh was weak. Problem was, I kept hoping for a good spot to stop and never found one. Finally

Now this story I absolutely loved. Now not that I didn't like the first book but the emotions attached to the second book are so deep. I cried at most times reading this story. Though things between Claire and Chris are well in the book, other things going on in their lives aren't.

I loved this follow up novel into Chris and Claire's lives. It is very rare we get a glimpse into the future of a couple we fell in love with from a previous book. I was a little surprised at the lack of drama. Don't get me wrong, I am glad it lacked a ton of drama. It was refreshing and made the story seem that much more real.

A wonderful read. The most drama we get is all these big life events for this couple all thrown together at once. It makes it a little hectic for the couple but again tha

A great follow up to Bring Me Back, that picks up shortly after where that book ended. I liked seeing Claire and Christopher grow into their life together, and to find out how things would work out with all the complications in their life. I always enjoy reading stories where the characters aren't immature, 20-somethings and this book fit the bill. Back Forever is the sequel to Bring Me Back.

This book was about Claire and Chris growing as a couple. Claire gets offered a new job that she wants to take badly. Chris is thinking of touring with his band. Discussing it together they have to make choices, while adjusting to busy family life. Moving house, trying to get pregnant and your daughter finishing high school, crazy times ahead.

Picks up right from the end of Bring Me Back, this time alternating between Claire & Chris’s point of view. This is a wonderful romance that I found myself making extra time to read. The story is well written and very compelling. The characters are fully developed and realistic. There are some twists and turns and a few cry-worthy moments, both good and bad.
