One of the most interesting things about this book is the author, a “world-renowned” ophthalmologist and “ultra-distance athlete” who has participated in 46 marathons and fourteen 100-mile mountain runs. A guy like that has to have worthwhile things to say, right?

If you’re looking for intimacy with God then start here. This book blessed me so much I was being condemned by my past but all God wanted was for me to come into presence and rest in His finished work.

I felt drawn to this book. I had it for a long time but hadn't resd. then with renewing time in seeking the presence of God I opened read and saw much truth. understanding things that didn't register until I saw them thru the writer's eyes
