5 Words: Now it's finished. Empty feeling.

I came to the end of this book with a slightly empty feeling. It wasn't that it was a bad book, in fact it's far the opposite. It's just that you end up investing so much in the series that you can't help feeling a little bit lost when it finishes.

Edie and Dylan grow up a lot in this book, probably more than they have in the previous two books combined. They discover so much more about themselves and their relationships.

Edie and Dylan's journey is lovely

(Review for Diary of a Crush series, book 1 to 3)

I used to see this series in one of the bookstores I frequent. I like Sarra Manning so I almost bought all three a few times, but a voice inside my head always stopped me. “The books have cheesy cover pictures and the blurb makes the plot sound really shallow,” it said. “I’ll buy the first book and I’ll see how it goes from there,” I reasoned. “You’re meant to be reading more serious grown up stuff. If you start reading this you’ll be reverting ba

"You're not my friend," I said slowly, glancing at Dylan's tense face. "I don't want you to be my friend either, I just want you to be the boy I love who loves me back."

The Diary of a Crush series has literally consumed my entire weekend! I started the first book; French Kiss, on Saturday night and by Monday morning, I'd finished the final book. Talk about an addictive series!

In the third and final book, Sarra Manning brings us more drama. Edie and Dylan are still together but her parents are ca

I have put off writing this review for almost a week. Frankly it's because it was just average, and it bored me. And I really didn't want to have to put that in words. While I really enjoyed French Kiss , it came with a sort of caveat that the series would show a lot of character growth and development. Kiss and Make Up  was a hot damn mess and I rather disliked it, though I saw the realism in it and the potential for the series ender to impress me again. It... didn't happen. It just

What can I say I am sad and happy at the same time. Sad because the series has ended I am going to miss Dylan and Edie. I like reading about the two of them. I just can't put a name on that feeling. I laugh, I feel sad, happy and in love. Their relationship is never free of any misunderstanding but all relationships are like that. I love that Edie has finally grown up. On the second book she realized that boys should not be the ones to define her life. Here, on the third book she is starting to ...more

The ending was not satisfying at all! Personally, it was not a good ending because so much can still happen especially that Edie is still starting her university studies. I know, I know, that it was mentioned that they’ll remain together no matter what happens..they’ll still fight a lot and problems will always be there, but they’re more mature everyday, and they love each other so nothing to worry about...BUT STILL!

Anyway, I love this book more than the other two. I love how it started of with

I loved the series so much I went out and bought the entire trilogy. The romance kept me, as a reader, on my feet. Just heartbreaking. Love it. Recommend for fans of Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. This you won't regret. Edie can be very stubborn and ignorant, but I love this book anyways. 5/5 stars.

Better than the second book, at least. But what an awful mess to slog through to get to the bittersweet ending.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I love Sarra Manning. There hasn’t been a book of hers yet that I haven’t completely loved and this book is no exception.

It has been a bit of a bumpy ride up until this point for Edie and Dylan. They’ve broken up and fought more times than I can remember and they’ve also done enough kissing to equal that amount too. The thing is, even though Edie and Dylan have had a very rough time of it, I have been hoping for the best for them since the very beginn
Irene Calver shoudve ended at 2. This one was too...unnecessary.

OK so, Edie and Dylan are doing great, they're more mature and communicative. But as usual there's drama. Edie's mom hates Dylan, which means they are always fighting until Edie finally decides to move out and crashes by poppy. 2 months later they finally make up and Dylan creeps into Edie's parents hearts. Edie and Dylan decide to go to America for the summer and more drama drama.

Unlike the first two books in this series Sealed with a Kiss took me a while to get into. Alot of the time I didn't see the point of the first 25% of the book, Edie and Dylan were just planning their trip to America and arguing as usual over pointless stuff.

Overall, I have a love hate relationship with this series. Dylan and Edie are the cutest couple and they are very real to me. I loved their trip and felt they really grew as people although Dylan was an ass alot of the time. I understand thei

Edie's storytelling is just so readable. She's got this fun and flirty style that just sucks me right into her world and her problems and her joys.

And Dylan would catch my eye and look at me as if I was the most beautiful girl in the bar. Which I wasn’t but it was very nice of him to think so.

I love that they're such a real couple with their own set of likes and dislikes. They have habits that annoy each other and they say things they don't mean. But they couldn't do without the other.

Okay, I wasn't happy with the end at first. But then I read Sarra's author note, and now I'm okay with it. She mentioned that she liked to think of Edie and Dylan frozen in time on that London street, and I do too. I like being able to make my own ending.
And she also mentioned that the trilogy was for teens and if she'd written another novel, it would've left the teendom and she didn't want that.

I love Sarra Manning and all of her books. You Don't Have To Say You Love Me is my favorite, this t

Dylan and Edie are finally back together and now they are stronger as a couple. After a long time without fighting, Edie and Dylan plan to go travel the United States for nine weeks. They know the trip will be amazing but after they come back, Edie has to go to an University and will leave Dylan behind. When they get to America the first stop they take is in New York. The trip is going good until Dylan starts having angry outbursts and then leaving Edie at a random place and telling her he will ...more

In this book, Edie and Dylan are finally stable and they are planning to go on a trip. They're so excited because they've always wanted to be on the road together, but suddenly things turn up when they arrive in New York. Dylan constantly leaves Edie in the middle of the road for hours, to do god knows what. Edie gets really frustrated and just throws a fit and cries and Dylan still doesn't realize what he's done. A little into the book Edie gets fed up with Dylan and doesn't talk to him but th ...more

It was a sad day when this was the final instalment of Edie's diary.

Sealed with a Kiss see's Edie and Dylan finally together (collective sigh of relief) and all around more grown up. After all the drama and pressure (not to mention psychotic girlfriends and twisted brothers of said psychotic girlfriends) Edie and Dylan made it through, albeit a little on the scathed side, but they made it through together. But the fight isn't over yet. Throw in a road trip holiday, zero alone time and a summer
I relly enjoyed this book maybe its something that i could related to. I feel as that Edie is just another me. Throughout this book, i could see the growth and the path she has made to become a more indepedent women. This book is just another example of the book i had read " Who am i without him". This book is just another book that all teenagers should know. Because some of the problems that Edie had face other teenagers had face the same thing too; such as me. I recomanded this book not just be ...more

Edie and Dylan? Are they together or not? With them it is hard to tell. They go on and off. They are good for each other but sometimes they forget who they are. When they go on a trip to New York nothing is the same, secrets are forming and everyone is doing their own thing. Will they last?

I can make a text-to-text connection with the book, The Heartbreakers, by Pamela Wells. They are sort of the same because they both break up and they are all going through some difficulties in there life. Some

Not my favorite of the three, but still great!

Originally on my blog:

I think Manning's later stuff is more polished, but I'll tell you why these were so great to me. First of all I love Edie who is our voice for the three books. I love how she grows up and matures in the books. I love that she has the same weakness for moody art boys that I had when I was her age. I love all the kissing. I love the Britishisms that Edie uses in sassy ways to make me laugh. I lov

This book is a really nice book if you like drama and romance in your book.

In this book there are things that can relate to teenagers lives. This book does keep you wanting to find out what happens next. Some parts of the book will leave you speechless ( in a good way). There is a lot of DRAMA in this book up it is a very interesting book to read and I really enjoyed it and I think lots of other people/ girls will enjoy this book as well. So I really hope if you do read this book that you really

The little couple saved up money to have a great trip to america! Edie and her friends finally got their own apartment, finally got freedom without the control of their families, is that amazing?
Your own future is controlled by yourself, just remember in order to reach something, some actions must be made and some must be sacrificed.
I've always want to have a 'small' trip to another country, actually would love to go to more than one with my friends using our own money, and it would be so fantas

My sister read these books to me when I was younger, leaving out the explicit bits I was too young for. I promised that when I was her age back then I would read these. So reading these books I could'nt help but think how long I had waited to read them. Can I just say that the wait was entirely worth it, but the ending was quite abrupt and I want to know what happens next!!! But this is one of those books you need to be old enough to understand about life as a young adult to enjoy and understand ...more

I really enjoyed this book; it is the third book to the series of Diary Of a Crush. What I enjoyed most was the character's growth throughout the story. Edie has turned into an independent woman who thinks twice about making decisions. Her love life was the plot of the story and as the reader, I felt that I was there to know what was going. I liked how it was formatted into a diary-type story. I would recomment this series to anyone, mainly girls because I feel that some teenagers are able to re ...more

I swear in the end this book scares the crap out of me.
but then when I realised that edie and dylan wase'nt goin to break up I swear I could have bounced up and down.

I got so scared and mad that I almost threw the book at my wall.
This serie is nothing without Edie and Dylan together!

One of my favorite series! Really nice and funny to read especially if you want some drama and hot passion.

I've read many books, especially YA books, but this series still remains as my absolute favourite despite reading it over 5 years ago. The characters are real and Edie and Dylan love each other despite their flaws. Sure, perhaps the storyline isn't particularly deep but this story is about two normal people falling in love with each other in the sweetest way possible. Edie and Dylan are imperfectly perfect together, for each other. I'm naming my first son Dylan.

the ending was awesome. it ended with great hopes for the future like everything is going to be okay. I remember being frighten to read the last book because of people saying they didnt like the ending but Dylan and Edie seem perfectly find going on there own now that they have managed to stay together for big disasters.

This book "Sealed with a kiss" by Sarra Manning talks about Edie and Dylan going to a trip to New York and Edie joins a band and she becomes more like a independent woman and she is starting to not like Dylan that much and all she really does is write in her journal and the last thing she really wants to do is to kiss Dylan. I recommend this book to everyone.
