While attention has been paid to accessibility for the physically-impaired since passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act, making buildings accessible is only the first small step in elevating museums to be centers of learning and culture for all members of their communities. My favourite book on museum studies ever. recommended it to hundreds of people from different backgrounds in arts and for each of them found it really helpful to contextually their work better.

If you need justification- solid evidence and practice, to start any sensory project in your museum, this would be a go-to. Further, the sources cited could fill a small library.
The only negative is that it was published in 2014. A reprint with current examples would be wonderful.
