Although this isn't the exact version of the Guinness World Record books I have read, I wanted to write a review on this series because of how informational and interesting they are for students. With each new year there is a new series of this book that includes interesting world records about all different aspects of lives and talents. These books are extremely engaging and interesting, even to myself at the age of 20. I work at a daycare while I am home for breaks and summer and overtime one of these books are pulled out, the kids flock to read and flip through them, proving how interesting they are to all age groups. The pictures are so interesting because you are able to see most world records that are broken and accompanied by the picture is a description of the world record and what it was broken with. Although this is not a series I would have my students for educational use and to work on their reading fluency, I believe these books are good for mindless and interesting reading.
