A couple's dream holiday turns into a living nightmare when they realise that they don't even know each other.

David Telfer takes his ex-model wife Louise on a Mediterranean cruise to celebrate her recovery from serious depression. But as they sail across the high seas he begins to have doubts about her state of mind. He suspects, from her erratic behaviour, that she is hiding something from him. Indeed he believes that she may well be harbouring some dark secret.
His suspicions are heightened yet further when they reach the beautiful city of Barcelona and his nightmare really begins.

Oh what a tangled web.....

Bravo. Mr McGuire. A real thriller with so many twists and turns I have whiplash!

I thought this book would be quiet predictable however I was wrong. The story is told in such a way that you find yourself gripped by the emotions of the characters. Even knowing that nothing is as it seams only adds to the suspense.

Original and engrossing. I loved everything about this book. Being transported to Barcelona by the beautifully descriptive dialogue added to the almost voyeuristic feelings conjured in following and routing for the main character.

A real page turner I couldn't put it down.

What a shame, the plot of this book had potential, but unfortunately the writing style is that of a teenager for a school assignment. Poor choice of language, grammar and punctuation. The use of the word "effect Louise" when it should have been "affect Louise". Overuse of exclamation marks at the end of sentences! The use of 'quote marks' to describe the 'stolen bag'. I only carried on reading to find out the ending, which I had guessed correctly too.
