I read "Take Your Medicine" by Arianna Hart after reading the book blurb several times. I'd pass it up and then go back, pass it up and then go back. I don't know why it caught my attention, but I'm glad it did. I really enjoyed this action romance that's quite hot, but not quite over the erotica line. I've read several e-books by Ms Hart and I enjoy the way she develops the relationship without being sappy. Her heroines are usually normal women who become 'caught up' in a sitation beyond their control...enter our sexy hero to help them...and then help them out of their clothes!!

Jared's on a legit mission this time, but when he takes a bullet and needs to hide the only place he can think of is also where he'll find the one woman he just can't get off his mind.

Macayla isn't quite sure just what to feel when she finds Jared wounded in her back seat. But she can't just let him die and she can't stop wanting him either. When he needs to hide, she's determined to accompany him...as his doctor, of course!

Very enjoyable. Now I'm off to get the prequel "Surprise".

I met Jared and Macayla in Surprise and was excited to get Take Your Medicine to read their story. I was not disappointed. Arianna Hart has the ability to keep the story moving without alot of filler. She is able to blend a good mix of action/suspense, romance and some humor to keep a reader interested.
