I have mixed reviews about the books in this series. This is one that I'm positive about. The Elvis Presley book is fun, informative, laid out pretty well and written in a child-accessible way. There's a couple pages I would've thrown out, but overall I'd share this with a child who wants to learn more about Elvis or just to start a conversation about music.

FYI: The more I think about it, this series of books would be perfect for someone who was just dropped into U.S. culture. I think it's perfect for adults who just need an intro to something, or to start a conversation. I would think they'd be great in ESL or citizenship classes.

Yes, this is a board book. Which means it's for little kids but it's about Elvis so of course I read it. I also loved that it was for little kids. It gave a good quick overview of Elvis. I love Elvis. I would definitely suggest this as something to read to your kids. Or nephews or nieces, et cetera. If I had children I would absolutely buy this for them and read it to them. I think it's essential for every music lover if they have children in their lives they want to start teaching about music. 4 quills.
