I liked the book Guinness World Records 2014 because it gave me a lot of different people and their amazing talents. The thing that I really liked about this book is that it gave me a lot of different details about the people. The reason that I think that was weak was that it sometimes had details that didn't match the event.I wouldn't recommend this to a classmate because it really doesn't give any adventure to it.If you are a person that likes wired wacky stuff and lots of facts this book is for ...more

This is a book I personally enjoy, not everyone would like this book because their is no plot, but instead many paragraphs that tell what happened. I would recommend this book who likes facts given to them, the author made sure that this book would be interesting not dull.

Guinness World Records 2016 is a book written by The Guinness World Records company. This book is mainly about sharing astonishing things that humans have done, and discovered about the universe and nature. Guinness World Records was created in 1955 and was known as “The Guinness Book of World Records” in 1998. Sir Hugh Beaver was the rightful founder of this worldwide known book. Includes all the records and the new ones of the year 2014 though I wish there were some more technology based records.

To start off, the Guinness World Record series (G.W.R) is great and every year it is getting better and better, but 2014 is by far the best in my opinion. The reason G.W.R 2014 is the best because it is very intriguing and makes you want to read more after every page. Another thing that makes this book so interesting is that it is interactive. What I mean by "interactive" is there is a feature in the book where you can download an app and when you hold the camera up showing an image in the book ...more

My Rating: 3/5 stars

There's really not much I can say about this book. My sister got it at Costco a while back and I decided to read it for the hell of it. It was definitely an interesting read, although it did take forever since I was only able to read at home. Reading about the different records was pretty entertaining, although I'll have to admit, the sports and nature sections got SO tedious to read. Other than that... I can't say much about the GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS. I'll be back t

This was an amazing book. Once again I am amazed that this is for free. It is especially for kids, but also grown ups will love this. There is so much information, so many pictures, interesting facts and bits!! Very cool indeed. Some are pretty scary, with the deadliest animals around, as well as the biggest.. I loved the book throughout. Sometimes there was a massive load of numbers, maybe a bit too much for kids. But all in all a great book that is both entertaining and informative. Very well ...more

This was a good book. It had lots of information and told crazy things about the record breakers. It was really interesting and fun to read because you couldn't believe what type of records there will be. It did take a long time to read and in small print (paper back) which made it harder to read. But either way, the book was interesting and I recommend it to anyone who like reading informational and interesting books.

This was a free digital e-book issued by iTunes which I downloaded I would not have bought it otherwise. However I did find it interesting covering the usual largest, most poisonous, fastest, etc animals both extinct and living including brief descriptions with photos and video.

Some of my friends are listed on the "Brain and Memory" new Record page (in the 'Human Body" section) of this G.W.R. 2014, so I would like to give 5/5 for this extra addition this year.

I have always loved the Guinness book of world records series but this one was I guess different than the other books in the series.
