Holy Mother F-er, that was one of the most sex-filled books that I have ever read. Total porn without plot. No plot, none. However the sex was incredibly, incredibly hot. I'm going to need a cold shower here, folks!!

My opinions on this book are all over the place. For all of those who have read Naughty Bits, this is the re-worked, non-incest version. However, in the switch from incest to childhood friends, some details of the book stop making sense. First of all, they keep acting l
I blame my brand new Kindle and the novelty of free books for having read this one. This is NOT something I otherwise would have picked out, and I admit to a healthy dose of embarrassment to think of this being in my reading list (shame overruled by OCD).

I prefer erotic romance over erotica, and this one sits in the latter. Still, I admit that it does its job - hence the three star rating. That said, if I had read this one in what I understand to have been its original form, it would have been a
I will caution that this author isn't for everyone, because she really does like to write about more taboo topics. That being said, Yank was one that just didn't do it for me and not because of any taboo factor. The problem I had was that I felt that neither character had any good qualities, and they just plain irritated the crap out of me. Now don't get me wrong, the sex scenes were way hot. Selena is great at writing smut. I just didn't like the jumping around of partners with no concerns for ...more

Let me first off say Selena Kitt knows how to write a sex scene ..So, if you are looking for a quick read with lots of steamy, smutty, and hot moments then go read Yank.

From what I read, the story-line of Yank is related to her previous book Naughty Bits. I have never read Naughty Bits but from my understanding Yank is a little less naughty but still has the same steamy hot sex scenes.

Yank focus on David and Dawn. David, a Brit g

First of all I have to make it clear that this book is definitely Erotica and NOT for anyone under the age of 18, probably 21... LOL. I'm going to hide my review in spoiler form in case someone younger wanders across it!

If you are in the mood for something short, steaming, smutty, hot characters and story to read… here it is.

I have never read Naughty Bits, started reading Yank after I got the copy and did so with an open mind. I'm never really big on short stories because I mostly feel that the story was rushed but surprisingly, this one was a pretty good read. A hot read, actually.

Selena Kitt didn't try to compress an entire novel int

Dawn, a foreign exchange student from America, is headed to Surrey for her studies, to stay with childhood friend David. His world becomes shaken up the moment she arrives back, because he's not the little girl that he remembers anymore, and it becomes increasingly more difficult for either of them to resist the temptation that lives only down the hall.

I wasn't so much a fan of this one, in compared to the other Selena Kitt story that I have read.

I didn't feel connected to the plot or the chara

Incredibly erotic , smutty quick read written from the male POV , which is always nice for a change!

You just know this is going to get very interesting very fast and it does!
Lots of hot sex in this one. Scenes that will excite and arouse you.

Yank by Selena Kitt is almost pure smut. About every other page mentions sex. Dawn an exchange student from the US has diplomat parents stationed in Turkey. She grew up down the street from David and his proper English parents. She's 4 years older than David. David is out of school and his parents are pestering him to get a job. This story is all about Dawn deducing David. She teaches him all aspects of sex.

I was in a book funk after reading a good book, and nothing I started reading would maintain my interest until I finally came across this book. You don’t have to think much, it’s exactly what you’re looking for when it comes to an erotic book and is well written as per usual. You can’t go wrong with a Selena Kitt book

A very hot read as always. I'm not sure if this was the first of a series, but it felt a little unfinished. Selena is a great writer though, and it shines through again here.

Um, okay then.

So the reviewers got me curious on this one. Not from the raving reviews but from the apparently lack of story and the multiple steamy scenes. So, I thought, there was no way it was as bad as everyone was saying. I have yet to encounter a story like that so I said what the hell, it's only 160 pages, it won't take me long to read.

I was wrong!

Kitt's "Unfolding"Unfolding is the only other book I have read by this author, and that one was an unabashed, scorching eye-opener, let me tell you. "Yank" was much more conventional than that one for sure, but still sexy and yummy with plenty of hot scenes.

I was really looking forward to Yank because it's one of my all-time favorite set-ups: Virginal beta-hero gets schooled by experienced vixen. Plus it is written from David's POV, I

I had written a long review and thought I had posted it; it seems to have been swallowed by the ether, so I'll try again and keep it shorter.

The difference between porn and erotica is all in the details. If a story's generic, the characters are cardboard cutouts, and the actions (which is to say, the sexy bits) flow purely in an And then I... and then he... format, it's porn. It's also crap. If the story involves characters who are struggling with real problems that aren't easily solved -- even

o.k. i don't know where i rate this book. it is either a 3.5 or a 4. I have to say their really isn't much of a plot for this book. there is a lot of sex...

David just finished school and instead of spending his time having fun and finding himself he was told by his parents that he needs to get a job or they will kick him out of the house. Why would you think his parents did that? well, it is because of Dawn. She is a foreign ex
Normally I like these kinds of reads but "Yank" was, well, to put it bluntly...a clusterf*ck. I mean, seriously!! There was no real plot here and the characters were pretty annoying and lacked personality.

Dawn irritated me with her whinny, slut-like, and at times disrespectful behavior. And David, how weak of an individual can you be?! Man up dude!!

Sheesh. Such immature characters that don't really think before they do. I can't even begin to fathom how Dawn and even Julie didn't get pregnant af

Yank was a rather quick and very short book. The overall concept of this book felt flat for me.With that said, there really wasn't any plot in the story. It was full of steamy scenes that took over the majority if not all of the story. Although this book is under the erotic romance category, I would have thought it actually included a little bit more plot, but I was wrong. From the very beginning, we mee

This is the second book I have read by Selena Kitt and I’ve come to discover this author is definitely the queen of naughty books! FYI - This story touches on “taboo-ish” topics so please read the author’s description to judge for yourself whether this book is for you. As for me, I loved the first book I read by Ms. Kitt so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on another one and I was not disappointed!!

I have not read the other version of this book Naughty Bits, but I do know that this version is meant to be tamer than the taboo version where they are siblings. The scenes in this book were definitely hot! This is the second book I have read by Selena Kitt and she definitely knows how to write steamy erotic sex scenes. The one thing that bothered me a bit when reading this story was that because this is a revised version of another book some of the tone was

So this is the "clean" version of Naughty Bits. I didn't read Naughty Bits, but I think I can see where changes were made to make it "clean"... they're not brother/sister. They aren't even step-siblings. They're simply kids who grew up together, so close they might have been siblings. But because there was no blood, or even the step relationship, the whole "we can't do this" fell flat. Why not? She's visiting, sure, but c'mon... your mom knows you're an 18-year-old boy. ARC reading.

I found this a very enjoyable read. It's a short story from the POV of an 18 year old English lad, David, who has just left school. However, for the past year his old childhood friend, Dawn, has come back to the UK as an exchange student. She's from the US and is living with him and his family like a big sister. This changes when 'big sister' starts coming on to him. The book is about sex from beginning to end. Some reviews have said the plot is a bit thin but I think it's ok for th

Let me preface this by saying that I am a big fan of Selena Kitt. I've read quite a few of her books and have enjoyed each and every one. Yank, however, falls a little flat for me. Yes, this is erotica and I expect it to be full of sex of all kinds. I wasn't disappointed in this aspect, at all - the sex scenes are seriously hot. The story didn't make a lot of sense to me though. Why was it such a taboo for David and Dawn to be toget

I don't normally mind erotica/new adult. I felt, though, that this was very little story with a whole lot of literary porn. Didn't really love it and I've been one to enjoy erotica/new adult novels. Right from the get-go, we're launched into David wanking off to his porn collection. In what feels like 2 seconds later, he's passing second base with the foreign exchange student he's always viewed as an annoying older sister. David and Dawn start off rounding second base, quickly onto third and by ...more
Hot yet potty read

I love the British slangs that I learned from this book but so far, I pretty much doesn't fancy this. err The scenes were hot and steamy indeed but the storyline was just meh! I get it, that them, wanting each other, is forbidden. Plus, they are like real siblings (not by blood of course) so it was kind of a taboo. One of them would keep on saying that "we shouldn't be doing this" but would eventually do it anyway. And the ending was just barmy, I should be happy because of

Selena Kitt writes hot and steamy scenes that her followers have come to expect and love and this was no exception! When a book is properly presented as erotic romance I think that its foolish for people to go into the read thinking that they are going to get a piece of profound literary genius... this being said I have been irritated by some of the reviews that I have seen because I don't feel like there was anything misleading about the description or the genre this was made out to be.
