This would be an awesome analogy for the failures of communism. In this book, equality is achieved in an Orphanage like future setting. It's hard to explain but If I were a high school English teacher I would put this on my students reading list. It moves a little slow but builds to something very special. Not even close to the kind of books I usually read but I really liked it. Well written and well edited.
