This book had so much potential I really liked the storyline but...... I don't know there is something in the way JB writes her main leads that I just don't like I always feel let down and dissatisfied like something is missing. I don't know but maybe it's the lack of feeling true love from the main leads towards their counterparts there is just no real emotion it's seems to be about sex, I love dark angsty male leads but I like to also feel with them when they start falling in love but with JB ...more

Pretty Decent Considering...

I couldn't believe that this book was written by the same author who
wrote the series the Last "Whoring" Riders, this book was a step up from the other series.

The Female lead was ok, the Male lead worked on my nerves at times.

Overall, this book was not as bad as the author's other series.

I've had Soul of a Man by Jamie Begley on my kindle shelves for I don't know how long. I know it's not reflected on my blog but I am a HUGE Begley fan, other than the remaining two stories in this particular series I have every book she's ever written. With me turning to the ending if Soul of Man though I'm really kicking myself in the butt for waiting so long, but who knows I might've not appreciated its story if I would've dived into it as soon as I bought it way back when.

In my opinion Begley

Really, really liked seeing this other side of Jamie Begley! I am a HUGE fan of all of her other work & love that she has a paranormal/mythological streak in her because those are some of my favorite kinds of romance stories.

That said, even though I became very entranced with the gods, the goddesses, the saints & other magical beings, I didn't fall in love with the main characters, Jericho & Cara. I actually liked Cara but Jericho was kinda "blah" for me. I just didn't feel that bri

I'm a huge fan of Jamie Begley's MC series and I don't know how I missed this series but I'm glad I found it. This book was so interesting and if you like the different Norse and Greek Gods then you would love this story. Cara is the daughter of Fate and gets sent into the human world on Earth by her mother's enemy. She is a character with a lot of strength to go through so many trauma's. Jericho is a troubled soul that is fighting is way through life and you can't help but bleed for him and all ...more

Love Jamie Begley's Books

Another great read by Jamie Begley! With characters like the Moirae, Fate, Destiny, Mother Nature, Chronos, Merlin, Odin and Thor, then through in the humans, what a great story. Fate has a way of putting into situations of not or own choosing but it's ours none the less. Fate is not a choice it's what it is. Cara is one of Fates daughters who is attacked and forced into the human realm with no powers and totally human, she meets Jericho, a man who has a black soul due t

5 stars

I'll be honest in the beginning I found this rather confusing there was so many characters introduced in a few pages and just actually contemplated putting it down but I'm glad I didn't. This is nothing like I've read before and was gripping. There was action throughout and it turned out to be a beautiful love story. I cannot wait to start book two.

I have to confess, that I gave it a try because I love Jamie's other books. And this one has so many low ratings. So, it was a little daunting to start.

I don't know what to say after finishing reading. I gave it 4 starts. So, I really enjoyed it. But that doesn’t mean I wasn't ticked a couple of times.

I loved Cara. She was sweetheart. Having so much power and still be able to be down to earth, so to speak. But also she so is used to her powers, that when she is throw into the earth without them,

I did something I never do before I read this book, I looked at the reviews. Why? I'm not sure, but I guess it has to do with the fact that I love The Last Riders and I wanted to see people's opinions...but I also love paranormal.

I do not know what people are on about. Cara is a beautiful soul and Jericho is hot. Did I want to kick him in the googlies on more than 1 occasion? Yes, yes I did. But it did not put me off this story, it was part of the story and made it great...and boy was it a hot l

Interesting twist on Gods, Immortals, Legends, etc...

Four stars because while it was funny, sexy and a page turner, I still have no idea why the person that was after Cara wanted her dead or her sister's for that matter. They were separated, went through three different paths, someone constantly tried to kill Cara, we find out who, it seems this person is working with someone else, obviously Cara gets her HEA but at the end of the day we're left with: WHY?

This is the story of Jericho and Cara and their love. Jericho was adopted at 4 years old and spent a life of hell with the monsters that tortured and abused him. Cara is the daughter of the goddess Fate and Saint Valentine. Cara has been cast to Earth and made a mortal but even so she can see that Jericho's soul is black. Jericho does not allow any one woman to get close to him but he hasn't dealt with love before.

Really loved the on to book 2!!

I love Jamie Begley books! But not this one.

It was almost a parody with all the different mythological creatures and gods. You had Mother Nature, Father Time, Fate, Thor, Odin, Valentine, Aphrodite, vampires, werewolves and many more.

The hero was hot, the heroine was sweet, but their romance was pretty tame and the story read like a novella.

I do notice, however, that the second book in the series is rated a lot higher on goodreads, so I'm going to give it a try.

I adored this book. Any book that mixes all mythologies and modern day religions into one piece of literature, gets an A+ in my book!

Different from other books I've read of Jamie's, but still that same style.
