This is the story of two people who have been hurt by the people they love and definitely aren't on the look out for romance but manage to find it after unexpectedly meeting each other. Mitch Turner had his heart trampled on by the woman he'd thought was the love of his life. He's absolutely gorgeous as well as being successful and Hannah Stone is the sweet woman who was totally undermined by her horrid ex-husband. Both deserve so much more and, perhaps together, they just might be able to find their own HEA.

It is well paced novella with well developed characters. It is a short, steamy novella, just right for warming you up on a cold winter's night! Many thanks to the publisher for gifting me an ARC of this novella without obligation. This is my honest review.

"Feel like making some memories with me?"

This was a very sweet, Christmas novella about two people who have loved and lost.

Mitch was deceived by the one person he thought he would love forever. Putting love on the back burner, he never knew one encounter with a girl and an umbrella would change his life forever.

Hannah has dealt with grief you wouldn't wish upon anyone, and now she's dealing with a failed marriage. But one night of celebration turns into a night of surprises and passion that will flip her world around.

"One night, just one night, changed the course of both their lives."

I enjoyed Mitch and Hannah's story!

It was a wonderful holiday read full of laughs, love, and family ties. Just what you want during this Christmas season:)

"Now I want to know more that what lies on the surface. I want to know what lies inside of the woman I can't stop thinking about."
"No pressure at all."
"Nope. None."

Not the Same Season by Lindsey Gray is a tug at your heart novella for the holidays that leaves you with warm feelings. With heartbreak, that spark of attraction, and falling in love in the story line it comes together for a quick, satisfying read.

Hannah Stone and Mitch Turner had a chance meeting once upon a time. Brought back together under unique circumstances, they quickly develop a relationship even as both plan to move on. When chance brings them back together sooner than they thought, Hannah and Mitch find their way to an HEA.

Ms. Gray writes an appealing story with memorable characters and just the right amount of feels. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Out of the rubble life begins again. What an amazing story of new beginnings. This novella was a quick read that still packs a huge punch! Hannah and Mitch bumped into each other 6 months before being officially introduced by his uncle Ken. They had both thought of each other since they'd first met at that cab, but neither knew who the other was and New York is a big city! Mitch's uncle had tried setting him up on several dates after his divorce had become final, but Mitch couldn't think of anyone but the woman who gave him her umbrella at the cab. Much to his surprise that is just who his uncle brought through the door with him tonight. Hannah had no idea that Mitch was her lawyers nephew, but she was more than pleasantly surprised it was. She wanted his help to prove to her now ex-husband that she could move on past everything she's been through this last year. They both agree that for now they have just one night since they're both moving tomorrow. These two people have been shattered by their exes. Once their paths cross again together they just might be able to build the life they should have had all along. You'll have to read NOT THE SAME SEASON to find out what happens, I laughed, cried and felt the love throughout the story. This was my first Lindsey Gray story, but it won't be my last! Due to sexual situations, this book is recommended for readers 16 and older. I received an ARC via IndieSage in exchange for an honest blog tour review.

Not the Same Season is the ideal read to get in the holiday spirit. It's about a new beginnings.

Mitch has been through a nasty divorce and is in the process of making changes for what he hopes is for the best. He is going back to his roots.

Hannah has suffered some losses which affected her in a bad way and had to cope without any support. She is now divorced and wants nothing more than to move on. Easier said than done!

Mitch's uncle has been playing matchmaker but so far nothing has really worked for Mitch. He has been thinking about a chance encounter though! Unfortunately, he doesn't know anything about her. On the day before he turns his life around, his uncle springs a surprise on him. Hannah! Too good to be true?

They have an instant connection but decide to go through with their original plans and arrange to meet at a later date. As fate would have it, this happens sooner than expected. Can they hope for a future together?

This easy to read romantic and seasonal novella would appeal to those looking for a short read with sugar and spice.

I received a complimentary eARC and the views expressed are my personal opinion.

A must read novella! I loved it! It was a great quick read to get me going for the holiday season.

This story is much more than a Christmas story. It is about finding someone when you least expect it. Author Lindsey Gray takes on us a journey of two people who have just about given up on finding love. I know I would have after hearing these two horrible ex stories. I was wide eyed and shaking my head when they told their stories.

What happens when the woman you met by chance one day shows up at your uncle’s home? I’ll tell you, you get a well-written, steamy novella to keep you warm on a cold winter night.

Mitch Turner has no desire to date again. He waited for the one he thought was his soul mate only to have his love trampled on. I swear I want to reach in this book and smack his ex a few times! This man was the total package. Successful, loving, and absolutely gorgeous! I wanted to be Hannah in this story and help Mitch heal.

Hannah Stone is such a great character. She is such a sweet woman who needs a fresh start without being judge by her evil ex-husband on a daily basis. She deserved more even if she did not think she did at the time.

Watching these two-find love and acceptance from the other was perfect. I loved how Author Lindsey Gray moved the story along without making it fell rushed or like it was lacking something.

A new beginning is the perfect way to end a hellish year. Divorce ushers Mitch and Hannah into the holiday season with little fanfare and a hope for more. Burned by their respective exes, a chance encounter has them hoping and wishing for one another. The time just wasn't right.

And then it was.

They embark on what should have been one night of exploration with one another and discover there's something there that is brighter and deeper than mind-blowing sex. Their divorces have changed them. They're finally ready to move forward. But they won't do it without each other.

Misery does not love company. I have no idea who decided it does, but it clearly doesn't. It produces a breeding ground for bitterness and loathing and self-esteem issues. Hannah had trudged through that dirtiness for far too long. Mitch wasn't her just lifeline. He was her support while she came around to seeing herself as he did instead of as her ex did.

A sweet yet spicy holiday read that's sure to tug at your heartstrings. You may laugh, cry, maybe want to reach into the story and smack the exes a few times, lol. This is a short lunch-hour read that is a perfect reminder that miracles can happen and that love doesn't just die because dreams of forever do.
