I really wanted to like this book but alas it was a huge disappointment for me. I found the writing cheesy and quite bad. I felt no emotional connection to Jensen and Marquetta (didn't even like their names). Jensen had so much potential: he owns a Harley, has a tattoo but I then found out he writes poetry...I mean come on. Do you know any alphas that would serenade their girl and choose the song Angel by Aerosmith!!! Yuck.

Female lead was rather pouty, dumb & wishy washy. Don't want a man, the past has made me scared & depressed. Oh here comes a stranger sure I'll let him into my house, fall sleep and then after I've woken up & he asks me to dinner I'm going to smash his toes with an umbrella. Cause that's perfectly sane...NOT!
