A bit slow to get going, when I can set it down after finishing about half and not really care about the ending, clearly something is wrong. Overall, I think it may work for others, it just didn't work for me.

Excellent world-building, combined with vivid characters, made Blood Chimera an unexpected surprise. I loved the gritty film noir feel of the book, and the way the story unfolded with plenty of twists and turns to hold my attention. This is a must read for fans of paranormal, urban fantasy. Well done Ms. Lyons!

A good read. Fast-paced Detective thriller with a different take on Vampires, shape shifters, and others who go bump in the night. The protagonist is a newly "made" vampire who struggles to find his way in this new life. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
