This is the first book written by Lauren Hallstrom a fifteen year old girl. It is a novelette of about 120 pages. I know that she continues to write and I look forward to her future books.

The story Is about a young girl "Audrey" she lives in the town of Fortune where picking up a stray penny can be the best of luck, or your worst nightmare. Lauren wrote this book in a month, a feat which astounds me as I finished the book. The characters were well thought out, the plot kept you on your toes, it was great. A huge round of applause for this talented writer!

Great book. This is the first novel from a teenage author. Great composition, good characterization. If you have some free time, make sure to pick this one up.
