An enjoyable and quick read with likeable characters. Lily was an innocent young woman who came from a poor area of London and worked on the markets. She met and feel in love with a rich mysterious gentleman by the name of Mr Charles grey, he employed her as his livein assistant but she dreamt of more and developed a hopeless crush on him.
