I really liked this story;it's about two best friends, Miranda and Jake, who finally see that they can be so much more.

Miranda finds out that in order to keep her ranch she has to get married in 3 months. She is a bit of a tomboy and has never even dated so she has her work cut out for her. On top of that she lives in a small town where finding a suitable husband seems next to impossible.

Jake is one of Miranda's best friends and doesn't see himself settling down any time soon. But, when he sees

Make Me Crazy

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in Southern California. Beaches, surfboards and all that jazz. I loved it, don't get me wrong, I just wished I could ride horses all day, I adore country music and something about a Southern boy drawl with his "Yes Ma'ams" just suckers me EVERYTIME. Now, I have been living in Mississippi for almost 8 years, and I could do smaller. Montana, maybe. The mister would never go for it. He is a big city guy. These reasons and

*Make Me Crazy*--who wouldn't be if you had your pick of all the single cowboys in town? That's what happens to Miranda "Rand" Coleman after her father leaves her the Double C Ranch, with one condition: She must marry within 3 months!

Despite every single cowboy in Loco, Texas having his eye on her, Rand has her sights set on the new doctor in town, Jay. She enlists the help of her best friend, Jake--a man who has lots of experience with women... lots. Jake doesn't think he's the type to settle d

This was a quick, fun and sexy read. I quickly fell in love with the town and people of Loco, Texas. I love the relationship Rand had with her 2 best friends, Jake and Red. They’ve been friends to years….she and Jake go back 20 years! I don’t want to go into too many details because I want you to discover everything yourself. There are some really great surprises in this book. Wonderful relationships are forged….not just romantic ones, but bonds are strengthened with friends and family, new and ...more

"You make me crazy," she muttered as she obeyed. "Likewise," he countered.

What a light and fun romance read with a southern twist. I am a big fan of Codi Gary because she always knows how to write a story that keeps me constantly entertained without wanting to pull my hair out from too much drama. I sat down to start this book thinking I would read a few chapters then get back to life, instead I found myself in the same chair a few hours later with a fully read book!

Miranda "Rand" finds out upon her grandfather's passing that in order to inherit the ranch she has worked on and loved her whole life, she must get married for at least one year within the next three months. This is problematic as Rand never intended to get herself into a relationship, much less a serious one right away. Rand is a tough girl who doesn't intend to settle, and doesn't ever want to rely on a man to take care of her. She decides that she needs to find someone to marry her for a year ...more

Make Me Crazy is the first in the Loco, Texas series and it is small town romance at its finest. Ms. Gary continues to write books with humor, engaging characters and of course sweet romance.

Miranda (Rand) Coleman has a big problem, her grandfather recently passed away and in order to inherit The Double C, the ranch she has worked on her whole life, she must marry in the next three months, for at least a year. Jake sure is a passionate man, "suddenly, his hands were on her shoulders, and spinning her around. He slipped his hands down to lay flat on the counter, leaning over her until their noses were almost touching. "Now that isn't very nice darlin', especially when it's coming from the prettiest mouth I've seen west of the Mississippi." Yes, they are rare on this blog but this book was a 5 Star book in my opinion. It had everything I love in a read - fantastic characters who move along swiftly in a great plot, plenty of romance and even a few laughs. Not to mention that several of the scenes in Make Me Crazy had me, not only surprised, but laughing out loud!

Miranda "Rand" is everything I love in a heroine, and it might just be my own bias, but I love a country girl who doesn't want to change to impress a man, even when everythi

Western Romance is not my usual genre of reading (I usually prefer paranormal, fantasy, not overly technical scifi, or Victorian period), but I loved this story! It was a very sweet romance, in how it followed the already strong, capable Rand as she grew as a person realizing that for all her knowledge of the world, was still very naieve and vulnerable, going from wanting just marriage in name only just so she could keep the ranch, to being swept up in passion, to discovering just what love is a ...more

I really enjoyed Make Me Crazy by Codi Gary. It was cute and sweet, and I love the friends to lovers trope. The characters were all likable and I really enjoyed Gary's writing style. I felt invested in these characters and their HEA right from the start, and I was able to just lose myself in their story.

Miranda "Rand" Coleman grew up seeing that love can destroy a person, and since then she has been against love, marriage and kids. When her gr

I am a compulsive reader. I am usually attracted by a books cover but generally decide to read it or not by the hook of the blurb.
This is what caught me for Codi Gary’s book “Make me Crazy”. It’s a story about two friends who come together as a means to an end. Rand needs to get married within three months of her grandfather’s passing or she does not get her inheritance which she needs in order to keep her beloved ranch running. She’s the typical tomboy with dung on her heels and mud in her hair

Well, thank God I've found this light read & I'm back in game of reading again. For a moment I thought there's something wrong with me. But thanks to all that's holy it isn't me it were the books I was set-up with. And I swear I'd never adhere to the requests of ppl I don't know about which book I should go out with.

In the end, for me, it'd always be about love. It's been a month and I was so worried & then one day I found this book, all sweet and b'ful waiting for me to read her. And I

3.5 out of 5 stars!

Codi Gary continues to impress with her stories, writing a charming friends-to-lovers tale. Staying true to her love of small towns, Make Me Crazy takes us to Loco, Texas and introduces us to Rand and Jake, giving the series a strong start.

A twist of her grandfather’s will has Miranda “Rand” scrambling to make a life change she thinks she doesn’t want and definitely does not need. Her two best friends, Red and Jake, help her out in their own ways: Red by sending his sisters to

A charming, sweet and sexy story of long time friends who try desperately not to fall in love.

Friends into lovers is one of my favorite themes. Rand and Jake have been best friends for twenty years but life - and a will - have them suddenly seeing each other in another way, a way that has them with their hands all over each other.

I adored the characters, heroine Rand, ladies' man Jake, country boy Red, ornery Earl and even Scout the cat. Rand is not a girly girl. She's practical and determined.

Miranda "Rand" Coleman has three months to find a husband and get married, or lose her beloved ranch. She's always avoided romance, but refuses to lose the place she calls home. I found this book to be quite the enjoyable reads. There are many laugh out loud moments and a few that tug at your heartstrings (Earl is such a dear old grump!!). I loved this book so much!! I read the whole thing in one afternoon...I couldn't put it down!! Codi Gary's books hook me from the first page and just won't let go. My favorite kind of books are good romances that can also make me laugh. Codi does this with her books. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but I loved a certain tattoo scene and the Corrupter had me laughing out loud. The way I see it, you can't go wrong with a book with the name Codi Gary on it. Call Me Crazy

This book was a good way for me to escape the typical contemporary romance books on the market. MS. Gary took an ago old stipulation and made it work brilliantly.
Miranda, our tomboy virgin who inherited the double c Ranch from her Granddaddy, literally transforms into a woman before our eyes. One minute she is a good little cowgirl, and the next thing you see is how Love has taken this innocent girl and made her see her best friends Jake and Alfred (aka Red) in a whole new light.
Hmm. Where do I start? I think I'm going to start by saying that I friggin love this book! It sucked me in from the first page and proceeded to make me laugh, cry and fan myself. Rand is an amazing female lead. She's tough and independent and capable and I loved how snarky and sarcastic she can get, yet she's still vulnerable and naïve, sweet and innocent. And oh gosh, Jake. There are so many ways to describe him and I have to say sexy is pretty high on that list. If I get started on Jakes attri ...more
