Due to war, environmental mistreatment, and the overuse of natural resources, Earth was brought to the brink of catastrophe. In order to preserve human civilization, nations put aside their animosity and worked together to find a new home world within the depths of the Milky Way Galaxy.

It appeared to be the perfect planet to call Second Earth, and humanity thought this ne

I chose to read this book because it sounded like a book that had a theme I'm a sucker for. Love and War. In Exodus Conflict the human race is fighting for survival as the planet is slowly dying from mistreatment and war while The Zullian race is also fighting for survival but because their planet is dying because of their sun. The war between these two planets for a new planet called Second Earth is intense, and much has been sacrificed on both sides to win a war that could easily end if they w ...more

I just experienced what many people mean when they say they can’t put down a book. In Exodus Conflict, author Michael Brooks tells the story of the battle between humans and aliens striving to co-habit an earth-like planet in the galaxy. This is science fiction where many authors run rampant with their imagination and risk losing their reader

I received this book in exchange for a review. In this SF novel, Michael Brooks explores many social themes like the impact people are having on the environment, the affects of war on people and exploring if humans can find a better way to solve problems than through war. It also explores differences and if it’s possible for humans to get along with each other and other alien races or are we destine to always be at war with each other.

The background conflict is described in detail at the beginni

A sci-fi adventure that has some really great themes through it like environmental concerns, the futility of war, and that courage can come in many forms. Sometimes calling for peace is the most courageous thing a person can do.

When the Earth becomes no longer inhabitable mankind searches for a place to call home, at the same time an alien race called the Zull are on a similar search. Alex is the main character and narrator of this tale, he is a journalist and has seen the horrific acts of war u

I really enjoyed this book. It's faced paced, well written and the story is very engaging. I particularly like the way it addresses some of the major real-world climate issues facing us all today. Excellent
