Book of true short stories about amazing creatures, felines. Each one had a scripture passage or inspiring thought at the end. The only story I didn't like included a couple surprised by burning squirrels in their home (mom & babies). One can understand panic, but throwing your cat into a dark basement to "get" the mommy squirrel, can't get past the horror or stupidity. Picked this up while sorting books at the local library for our bi-annual sale.

The stories are all too short. The only reason Chicken Soup stories work is because they are fully-developed, and the reader becomes invested in the characters. Each of these stories are only 2-4 pages or so. I only read the first 25 pages, but that was already seven stories (not including the Introduction, which started on page 7). It's like watching an ad for an upcoming news story, but not getting all the details of the story itself. I couldn't handle it. It might be a good bathroom read, however - short stories are fine when you're using the toilet.

Also, each story is related back to God. I should have realized, since the back cover says that the novel shows "God's eternal wisdom," but I didn't realize that half the stories would have a psalm attached, and all of them have a lesson from God. If you're Christian, nice. If not, a bit excessive.

I don't know. I just didn't find very many of the protagonist that believable, and to be honest, I didn't end up that inspired. Bothered? sure. Perplexed? yup. But, inspired? No. The cat on the cover looks pretty chill though. The story Biker Cat on page 138 was pretty funny- I guess.
