Through the annals of time, one of the most horrific mysteries remains a question. Who was Jack the Ripper? Disappearing as quickly as he appears, he escapes accountability for the brutality and egotistical nature of his crimes. However, Karma is an integral part of life, judging all actions for their corrective purpose.
Delve into this phenomenon for a different take on history. Unable to complete his agenda, the Ripper returns time after time, wreaking his final vengeance on those who draw his ire. Follow his evil as he moves through the ages. Shifting quickly, he eludes Karma as he continues his murderous intent. Escaping fate as he continues his gruesome deeds, he remains ahead of Karma's Champion.
Unaware of being shadowed, he visits his brand of terror in a seemingly never-ending loop. Fate takes a stand, as the time of his dominion is past. In his maniacal manner, he has set in motion a chain of events that puts a child at risk. To sever the loop, his final stand brings his past before him in a way he cannot have anticipated. Unable to elude the hunter he finds the answer to his Karmic balance, as the souls of his past become the justice of his future.
Feel the anticipation and anger as evil continues on a crash course with destiny.

This was an extremely original take on the subject and was very well written . I enjoyed the suspense and inventive storyline. Often authors tackle old stories with less than stellar success but this was fun and satisfying and makes one ready for the next book! Be prepared for some graphic content but it is very fitting with the story. This book is well laid out and is creative and clever. If the subject matter is interesting to you, or you just like suspense, horror, and a well crafted story, I think you will be very happy giving the Karma Stone by L.A. Wright a read!
I received this book in a GoodReads giveaway. The book starts out slow, not sure what to make of it. Once you are midway through the book, there is a clearer understanding of what the Karma Stone is and how it plays into the storyline.
Midway through the book, you do have a sense of whether or not the killer will be caught at the correct time so that the soul can rest and it is quick-paced at that point. I did enjoy the story, but felt that the beginning was a slow start as I said earlier. I would however, recommend this book.
