In my mind, I could see all the different possibilities of what was about to happen, and there was only one scenario where Chad wouldn't get hurt.

Three months ago, Nicholas Keller found out he was part of an ancient group called the Thusians. He thought his life was settling down, until his new neighbors move in. Now he finds himself taking part of an impossible search. In order to protect everyone he cares about, he must figure out who to trust.

Trust picks up where Secrets leaves off, tossing N

There's nothing absolutely amazing about this series, but it keeps me reading. The characters are well-developed, I'm invested in what happens to them. The author writes and the story moves at a good pace; there's no filler, no extra stuff just to fill pages. Thank goodness for that. I definitely want to know how it finishes, but probably not a story I would reread.

The book is good. Good characters. Good plot but the story was predictable. The book is a nice read though.

"Trust" by Tim Mettey is a fantasy story with a dash of mystery and romance blended in. Previously Nicholas Keller and his Aunt Cora had been on the run, hiding their identifies after his parents were killed in an earthquake. But, after settling in Winsor where Nicholas has found friendship and the love of Elle Canan, they have decided to stay, keeping a sharp outlook for any attack from Seekers, a sinister force that seeks power.

In this sequel Nicholas, Cora and his protectors Genevieve Pereira

Reviewed for Readers Favorite.

We originally met Nicholas in the first book of this series, Secrets, and this book continues the story. The secrets are now out in the open, or at least some of them and now it is a matter of who to trust and what to do to stay alive and continue life. Nicholas has started a relationship and for the first time in his life since his parents death, he and his Aunt are not moving at the end of the school year, they are staying put and continuing with life. Now they ha

Wow what a revelation at the end. I can’t wait to see what is in store in the next book. I was not expecting several twists and turns in this story but after they happened some of them left me very shocked. Again the author has managed to write a really great book and while there were a few things that I found predictable there was others that I was not expecting at all. In this story not everyone is who they seem and that can be good or bad.

At the start of a new school year Nicholas once again

Trust: The Hero Chronicles is the second entry in this YA series and is every bit as good as the first, Secrets: The Hero Chronicles.

It's been three months since Nicholas learned he was a part of the Thusians, an ancient group of secret guardians of mankind, destined to sacrifice their lives at any given time, to save those around them.

Book two, further develops the mythos of the Thusians, their mission and those that would stand in their way. At the same time it's about relationships

Tim Mettey debuted his first novel, Secrets (The Hero Chronicles Volume 1) with great success! Nicholas' story is definitely an intriguing one and in Trust, the continuation of Nicholas Keller's story Mettey creates another great work. Nicholas' character is just as amazing as ever and Mettey doesn't falter in his dynamic writing styles.

One thing I really loved about this book was the fact that like Secrets, Trust put me through the wringer. I found myself experiencing the same sensations. For e

Then there were four

This is the 2nd book of the Hero Chronicles and it picks up right where the first book left off. As Nicholas, Cora, Riley, and Genevieve search for the 4th person on the good side of the prophesied 7 things get complicated.

Excellent series for teens.
