Welcome back to Hollow Bend, Kentucky, where love (and laughter) are just around the corner.

When Andrew Bateman rolls into town in the midst of a snow storm, his first thought is that the place is hardly big enough for a dog crate, let alone the vet practice he’s looking for. Next thing he knows, his life is flashing in front of him—a depressingly short flash—as he skids r

This had decent character development for a short, but the overly sarcastic inner monologue was just meh. I’m reminded again of why I don’t like chick lit.

If you like chick lit/rom-com, you should give this author a try. :)

Aw Kentucky Christmas was a cute Christmas quickie. Andrew's come to town in hopes of selling some veterinary equipment. Instead he crashes into a bar...right in front of the lady who's gonna hopefully buy said veterinary equipment. Oops! Andrew and Billie were cute. A little awkward and endearing. She's aggessively Christmas. He's a little Grinchly. They made me smile as the sparks flew and they quickly fell

Started out kind of cute, except why would a vet tech call herself a vet? Then main characters fall into bed almost immediately. Not for me.

Kentucky Christmas by Sarah Title
4 Stars

There are three thing Billie loves animals, her father and Christmas. Andrew is a guy who likes computers and has a knack for all things with a plug who is stuck in a sales job his cousin gave him after Andrew was laid off. Somehow this lover of all things Christmas and the guy who could give the Grinch a run for the title find each other a few days before Christmas.

This is a very quick read novella but you got a real sense of this small Kentucky town. I

Kentucky Christmas is a short quick read. It took me a little under 2 hours to finish, which for me is perfect this time of year.
Andrew travels to Hollow Bend on a sales trip. He crashes his car on a slippery road and Billie the towns Vet Tech comes to his aid. She recommends a place for him to get his car repaired and offers him a place to stay while it’s being fixed. They fall into a very short physical romance. Billie’s ability to hop in the sack with just some random guy actually turned me

I read this novella for my reading group. We each had to pick a holiday romance and will do the checklist to see which one of us from the group has the most cliches!

Here are the ones this book has:
Making cookies
Trapped by weather
Wise older person
Animal (rescued)
Car broke down
Decorated for Christmas
Drank eggnog and hot toddy
Someone is from the “big city” and has no intention of staying
Someone’s job is in jeopardy

I missed a few:
Romantically set up by child or family member
Sang Christmas
This is a sweet, romantic little Christmas novella. I like Title's writing and the characters were engaging. ...more

Kentucky Christmas is a short, sweet Christmas romance.

Andrew's GPS goes fluky in a one horse town in Kentucky, causing him to crash his car. In a vet equipment sales job, he was trying to make a last minute sales all before the holiday. Now he thinks he's died and gone to heaven with the beautiful young woman standing before him.

Billie is the local vet's daughter and vet tech with a habit of taking her work home with her. An avid Christmas fan and all that is glittery, it shocks Billie when And

I received this book from netgalley.com in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to netgalley, Kensington Books, and Sarah Title.

I always feel terrible giving such a low rating to a Christmas novel but this one just didn't evoke the Christmas spirit in me. Andrew travels to Hollow Bend, Kentucky on very unmotivated sales trip. He crashes into a local bar because of the slippery roads and has Billie, the town vet tech, come to his rescue. She offers him a place to stay until his car is repair

This was a cute quick read I finished it in a little under two hours.
This is a great story showing us love can appear where you least
expect it and that sometimes fate will put is right where we need to
be. The hero came to the heroines small town to sell vet supplies
for his cousin after he is laid off from his real job. After he crashes

This is a cute cozy romantic story of a young man who finds love in a Kentucky town with a pretty Kentucky girl with her animals. Andrew is a Veterinary supply salesman making a sales stop just before Christmas in an unfamiliar Kentucky town. It starts to snow and as he reaches the town he crashes the car because of the snowy weather. He meets a pretty girl but becomes unconscious and ends up in ER and spends the night there. No known injuries but as a precaution. The next day the garage guy say ...more
That Christmas feeling

A bit too gooey for me but still a good read. He has been downsized and is now working for his brother selling vet supplies. Only he's not very good at it. Heading for his last call, he has an unfortunate accident and just before he slips into unconsciousness he spots an angel. After a night in hospital he goes to his call and sees her. Rather than making a sell he fixes her equipment and gets invited back to her home. The one she shares with her father. As he gets to unde

If you’re looking for a fast Christmas read, then you can’t go wrong with Kentucky Christmas. Billie first meets Andrew when he crashes into the side of Cold Spot, the local bar. They next meet at the vet clinic and instead of selling her new vet equipment, he fixes their current ultrasound machine. She invites him home, to thank him for all the money he saved them. Andrew doesn’t know what to think of all the animals and Christmas decorations. Grab your copy and see what happens.

Kentucky Christmas is a quick read with a very simple story line. In one sense, it can help when you are wanting a quick Christmas read, but it really is just a short little, almost silly, little story of a salesman who flies (or in this case, slides) into town and of course, meets the girl and well, you know how it goes. It is really not believable, or I hope it isn't nut who knows.

This was the first book in this series that I read. While the premise sounded sweet; I ended up not finishing it- sadly because the author dropped a bedroom scene in that didn't really need to be there; don't think I'll try the rest. ...more

2.5 stars - Cute, super fast read. Very christmasy but very short so there’s no character development or relationships. There’s chemistry and sex from lust at first sight. And animals, they’re probably the best part.
Terrible. Such a terrible, foolish book. Really?

I really don't like novellas. I don't know why I read them.

Andrew and Billie are okay characters but there isn't enough time for anything less than superficial to happen in the story.

Kentucky Christmas by Sarah Title is a great pick if you are looking for a quick holiday read. I read it in a little over an hour or so, and it was one of those sweet, uncomplicated kind of books that I just love reading during this time of the year.

The book begins with Andrew Bateman accepting a job from his cousin as a veterinary supply salesman after he gets laid off from his real job as IT support for a law firm. He is not a very good salesman and is wanting to get through this last stop i

I received this from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

I will admit that I requested this book because its about a town in Kentucky. I was born there so I was drawn to it! I'm so glad I did!

This is a novella using some of the same characters from the authors debut novel Kentucky Home. I haven't read that book but I did not feel like I was missing anything from the story. This could be read as a stand alone I think.
