December 30, 1984 LeBron James was born. It all started when LeBron James went to High school. His coaches found him fascinating at Basketball. A lot of people that weren’t at his school started to come at his school because they liked watching his talents. LeBron James young life wasn’t just about Basketball. He also played American football. His position in the team was the receiver. The receiver is the player that gets the ball from the thrower and he has to catch them. That was a very complicated job. In his freshman year he twisted his thumb and couldn’t play any of the sports he loved. When he finally healed he got a bad new. He should stop one of those sports or he might have serious problems with his thumb. At the end of his freshman year he decided to leave the schools American football school team. This was LeBron James last school year. He was getting big scholarship awards and had been accepted to a lot of universities because of his amazing basketball talent. A lot of spectator’s wanted to see how he played so the school played a gym at a university so that there are more spectators. Some people complained because they did too much stuff for him talking about the school. The last year at school kept passing. When LeBron James finished school he went to his first professional basketball team. The Irish team. A lot of NBA directors started watching his playing and chose him as a Cavaliers team player. That is LeBron James life and he will stay like that and for now he is 31 years old.

There are 5 good facts that I read about LeBron James. He is born December 30, 1984. LeBron James started being popular when he joined high school. He got seriously injured and had to stop playing one of his favorite sports. After that, he joined the Cavaliers (NBA) in 2003. Finally, in all his teams and his career he always scored 18 points or more. He is the star of the game and he scored the most. There are many reasons why the topic of this book is important. The topic of this book is important because there aren’t a lot of Basketball players in the world that play like LeBron James. There are a few but players like these are astonishing. They are people who don’t give up and keep training until they become the best. They win a lot of money but those 4-6 people per 30 years are amazing there are many teams but LeBron James is one of the MVP’s and maybe won’t get forgotten. If I had to think how the author would feel about this poem I think he would be proud. I think he would be proud because maybe he loved LeBron James and tried his best to write a non-fiction about him. Maybe he would have more to say but he had said everything he had in his mind and the author is a proud man.

For my recommendation I got several reasons to which I would recommend it. First of all, I would recommend this book to people from 7-9th grade or 6th high reading level because there are a lot of words in the book. I am someone who liked short stories but this book is long and I love it. I would also share this book to people who like about basketball players or people’s lives. Also fans about LeBron James. Maybe a good recommendation would be too people who want to be like LeBron James and want to know his life and train each day and never give up.

The biography, "Lebron James" by the known biography writer, Anne Wallace Sharp explains the life of an NBA MVP. Lebron was born on December 30, 1984, in Ohio. Despite the fact that his mother was a teen mom raising him on her own, she still tried to take care of him. Unfortunately, his mother, Gloria Marie James wasn't able to raise him with her unstable jobs, which led to her decision of giving Lebron to the family of a football coach, Frank Walker. Frank had later on introduced basketball to Lebron when he was only 9 years old. Since he started playing basketball at a young age, he also went into playing basketball in high school for the St. Vincent-St. Mary's varsity team as a freshman and continued from there. James was a great player in High School which had to lead him to be called as a future NBA MVP on National media. Lebron was drafted in round one by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003. Lebron played for the Cavs for 7 years and never won an NBA champion but he won 2 MVP awards in 2009 and 1o and an all-star award in 2005. After his time with Cleveland, he went to Miami for 4 years when the won NBA champions twice in 2012 and 13 while he won the champions the champion MVP back to back. Lebron James is currently playing once again with the Cavs since 2014 and they just won the NBA champions. As one can see, Lebron James is a greatly respected basketball player with a lot of talent.

I chose three questions to answer about Lebron James: 'What do you like about this person? Explain.' ' Tell me why this person became famous.' 'What lesson can you learn from this person's life? Explain.'. First, I am personally a fan of Levron James because he is a great basketball player who could be a future legend with technique and skill. Second, James became famous because of his high school and NBA basketball career. Last, I learned that you should never give up because, in the 2015 Playoffs finale, LeBron had lost against the Warriors. A year later in the 2016 Playoffs finals, he went once again against the Warriors and didn't give up by thinking that since they won them last year they would win them again so he went and won against them. As one can see, Lebron James is a great teammate and role model.

I would recommend this book to boys and girls of any age but preferably to those who have a reading level of middle school or higher since the vocabulary would be tricky to understand. First, I would recommend this to mostly basketball fanatics who enjoys watching games and playing the sport since this book is about a basketball player. Second, I would like to recommend this to everyone because as I said in the previous paragraph that he would not give up which would also help people in general. As one can see, many people would enjoy reading this book.

"LeBron James" is a great book. It's aimed towards sports lovers and especially basketball fans. You don't need to love sports to enjoy this book, though. There is much more than just basketball, a much deeper meaning.
Ann Wallace Sharp is the author of this book. Her main is purpose in this book is to inspire. LeBron James did not grow up in the safest neighborhood. He grew up in the ghettos in Akron, Ohio. His mother gave birth to him when she was only 16 and still in high school. LeBron did not have the easiest childhood ,as you can see, but that did not stop him. His mom encouraged to pursue sports. It was obvious from a young age that LeBron had athletic talent. Sports helped keep LeBron out of trouble and getting in with the wrong crowd. LeBron James emerged as a rising star, which Ann Wallace Sharp tells you about in this book. She tells how LeBron beat the odds and is now currently a top NBA star. His journey is very inspirational, and that makes the book well worth reading, but there is more.
The theme of this book is to pursue your dreams. The book stated that Lebron would see shootings and murders in the streets of Akron. LeBron never had a stable household until he moved in with another family called the Walkers. LeBron had a very rough go, but that did not stop him from pursuing sports. He won three state championships and went on to be the number one pick in the NBA draft...talk about impressive. The author talks a lot about his struggles, but his accomplishments overwhelm the bad. He never gave up, which is one of the reasons why I enjoyed reading this book so much.
This story is written in narration. Mrs. Sharp tells about his early childhood, all the way to him being drafted. The book went in order and talked about what went on in life. I learned a few things about LeBron that I did not know. She covers minor things well and really gives you a feel for what his hardships were like.
All in all, I did rather enjoy this book. I thought it was a little too short. It does make for an easy read, though. One thing I did not like so much was we I could not totally get a great understanding of LeBron's state of mind throughout the hard times. The author told us what happened, but not so much how he dealt with these things emotionally. The author did do an excellent job with the knowledge that she did posses. I would definitely recommend this book to any sports fanatic or anyone who wants to read an inspiring rise to stardom. This book is similar to other books I have read on Lebron, mainly because it is the same person. Anyways, I give this book 4 out of 5 stars, and you should most definitely enjoy it.

LeBron James once said, “Ask me to steal, block out, sacrifice, lead, dominate, anything. But it’s not what you ask of me, it’s what I ask of myself.” Coming from poverty and rising to professional basketball, LeBron James has made a statement for himself. This book, written by Anne Wallace Sharp, takes the reader on the adventure through the difficult childhood, life and finally successes of LeBron James.
LeBron James was born in 1984. His mother, Gloria James, was only sixteen years old when she became pregnant. Because his mother struggled to provide for herself and her baby, LeBron was not able to participate in organized sports as a young child. However, he spent much of his time playing basketball on local, rundown courts. When LeBron was nine years old, he played his first organized basketball game. That is when he fell in love with the game of basketball. LeBron played basketball at non-profit organizations for most of his middle school and high school career. LeBron did not attend college, but was drafted right out of high school as first pick to play professional basketball for the Cleveland Cavaliers at the age of nineteen. This made him the youngest athlete on the Cavalier’s roster. LeBron, however, played like a veteran. After his first season with the Cavaliers, LeBron met his expectations of turning the losing record around. After his first year, he improved the record to 35-47 from 17-65 the previous year. His next season, the record was again improved to 42-40. This led to his third season where he was getting closer to his dream of a championship title. This is the year he led the Cavaliers to the playoffs with a record of 50-32. LeBron then led his team to another playoff in the 2006-2007 season. LeBron not only dominates on the court, but gives back to the community by teaching youth to love the game of basketball.
I will say this book is aimed towards sports lovers. I, however, know nothing about basketball, but still enjoyed the book. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn about LeBron James. It is also a good book for anyone who wants to read a story about overcoming adversity and poverty and making it to the top.

Lebron James was a prodigy, which means a person (child or adult) that has a special or unsual skill or talent at a specific area. Logically, Lebron James' talent is basket-ball. He is considered as one of the best basketball players of this generation. In order to become a prodigy, Lebron overcame numerous hardships. He was born and raised in the slums of Akron, Ohio, and wa the only child of a single mother. During his early life he was surronded by poverty and at times even lived at his friends' house. While he payed basketball, he caught the eye of the national media and was compared to basketball supperstar, Mickel Jordan, who many sports analysts have called the greatest player who ever played the game.

This basketball superstar isn't my idol even though he is an exelent example for young athletes. Lebron James isn't only famous for basketball because he came famous when two incidents accured to him in his senior year. His mother presented him a new Hummer vehicle for his eighteeth birthday. Despite his skill on basktball, he was also Lebron James was a prodigy, which means a person (child or adult) that has a special or unsual skill or talent at a specific area. I would recomend this book to lower and middle schoolers because of the lexile level. I would also recommend it to people that have a pation at sports and other arts because by reading this story, they would know that everything is posible. I would recommend this book to Zaid Khouja because of his pation with basketball and he is not that far from being profetional. Above all I would recommend this book to people that play basketball so they can have a picture in mind of what they would want to achieve.

The purpose of this book is to show how LeBron got to where he is and what he had to do to get to it. He went form the absolute bottom to the up-most very top of the social status. The theme of the book is if you have the talent don’t give up you’re talent. Take it to the highest level you can. The style of this book was narration. I say this because the events that happened were in chronological order. She talks about the events in his life and what happened from when he was a baby to his NBA career.
My opinion of the book was that it was really good. I knew a lot about LeBron before I read this book, but this book went into depth of his younger childhood years that I did not know much of at the time. I liked how the author wrote and put this book together. She did a good job transforming from life event to another life event. There was nothing that I disliked about this story. I say this because I am a LeBron fan and I think that the author had very good information and I like reading about sports. I wouldn't change anything because she covered it all. This book is very similar to another book I read about LeBron. The book is called LeBron James Believe the Hype. This book is almost a shortened version of it.

Also known as King James, LeBron James is born on December 30, 1984, in Akron. Growing up, LeBron James played basketball, and played high school basketball for Saint Vincent Saint Mary high school. At seventeen, LeBron quitted high school to play for the NBA! He was in the first overall pick and played for his national team, Cleveland Cavaliers, as the number 23, like Michael Jordan. Few years later, James signed a contract with the Miami Heat, another NBA team. Nike signed a contract with him to make his own shoes like Michael Jordan, known today as the LeBrons.

LeBron won his first championship in 2012 against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He plays today small forward, weights 250 LB and is 6ft 8in tall. LeBron won many awards, like the Ohio's Mr.Basketball, McDonalds Game MVP, 2012 Finals MVP, and many others. LeBron also played football as wide receiver. LeBron also played for the U.S.A. olympic team. LeBron signed another contract with the Cavaliers, and going toplay for them again. To conclude LeBron is #backhome.

This book is about a young boy who has dreams of becoming a basketball star. He was a poor boy from a poor family. Lebron’s mother, Gloria, had to basically work two jobs. He had an adopted father named Eddie Jackson, who often got drunk and ended up in jail for cocaine trafficking. After his adopted father bailed on him, he moved to a lot of places and lived with different people. He spent holidays with them as well. Lebron started playing basketball in high school. He eventually became a famous basketball player.

Lebron James is my favorite character in the book. I like Lebron because, like any other celebrity, he never gives up. I also like that Lebron made lots of friends while he was in school, and he got a good education.

I would rate this book a 4 out of 5. The book is pretty exciting in some parts, but most of the book is kind of tragic. I didn’t like that his adopted father left him and he had a hard time. My favorite part of the book is when he plays games, signs autographs, and takes pictures for Sports Illustrated

This book was really great! I wanted to learn how LeBron James got into the NBA like how his journey was. As soon as I started reading this book I fell in love with it. This book really gives us the details of how LeBron's career in NBA is and how he got there. He lived very poorly and grew up without a father. Even though he was poor and grew up without a father he was a very great kid in school and in sports. People like his coaches always would help and provide for him when his mom couldn't. It's a really sad journey but the fact that it payed off is just great. It's amazing how a man grew up very poor and is now one of the richest players in the NBA is very humble and not greedy with his money. Usually people wouldn't even share a dime but this man actually just a couple of weeks ago payed for 2,000 kids college tuition. This man is amazing and he truly inspires me to be a humble person and he's now become my favorite player in the NBA not only for his great skills on the court but because of his humble beginnings.
