This is a paranormal romance novel. I love the characters and story is good too but there are few parts which seem dragged out. So my overall reading experience wasn't as good as I was hoping for. Still it's a good read and I think paranormal readers will enjoy this story.
It is about a werewolf prince who left his pack after tragedy strikes him. As unusual as it is for a werewolf to live alone he simply cannot face his pack members just yet. At least he has his guard with hi

CROSS MY HEART is the first instalment in Grace Deleesie’s new contemporary, adult paranormal Wolfe Lodge series focusing on the Bloodclaw Clan of werewolves. This is Grave and Sam’s story. Grave is the Prince, first in the royal line of werewolves and Sam is the huntress who stalks and destroys the very thing that Grave (is). Sam lost her younger half-brother to the wolf and with it came a vendetta against their kind. Thinking she has saved Grave from an attack, Sam will soon discover that Grav ...more

Sam and Grave both are in such pain, yet in brings them closer together. I hope in the sequel they find a way back to each other once more. Sam in a way is too hard on herself but after so much loss and heartache it's understandable. Grave is too forgiving at times. He is easier to relate to.
Overall, a wonderful story. Good flow and a great antagonist.

This was an alright story. I have to be honest, while the storyline itself was pretty good, the overall writing style was hard to get through. I kept finding myself bored or easily distracted, so it took a lot longer for me to finish when compared to other stories. I think it’s because I kept having questions about things that were happening in the story that either never got answered or just didn’t make sense to me. I also noticed many grammatical and punctuational errors throughout the story; ...more

I received a free copy from the author for an honest review.

I am not a fan of cliffhangers. However, I sympathize greatly with the pain that both Sam and Grave felt as they faced their day to day lives. It was a wonder they found the strength and courage to come together at all. Sam's need to hunt replaces her loneliness. Grave's want to forget his past and fit in with the human world is his own cry for help.
I found the supporting character of Phax very interesting. It would be nice to see wha

Not as good as I was hoping for but still an interesting read. I found the characters challenging and could relate to their pain after my own life experience.

Sam and Grave challenged each other in a very entertaining way. I do wish the book was completed at the end but look forward to a sequel.
