The Will of the Enemy

Rate this book
In 1987, Julie Bradley kidnaps her daughter, stunning everyone who knows her. She has no other alternative to keep her abusive ex-husband from getting at their daughter. Julie’s policeman ex-father-in-law wants his granddaughter back, in spite of the horrific things his son has done to her. Like bloodhounds, law enforcement is always one heart-pounding step behind them. For how long can they escape? Will Julie’s primitive motherly instincts be enough to match the will of the enemy? Three things keep her her journal, a Psalm, and her daughter. One thing is certain, they will never live ordinary lives.

I'm a passionate reader and writer. In fact, if I wasn't a writer, I'd be a writer anyway. I chose writing as a career back in 9th grade. Since then, I've worked for a book publisher and a trade press publisher, been an editor, and am currently a freelance writer for the foodservice industry. My foodservice blog is http://www.sheefood.com/
My Christian suspense novel, "The Will of the Enemy," was released in September 2013.
But stay tuned, another book is in the works!

I received this book from eBook Discovery in exchange for an honest review. This was well written book on a very difficult subject. Not every author can tackle this. I also like it as it was Christian based. This is something that is sometimes taboo in churches and needs to be discussed more. Very well done and very good read.
