This was just ok for me. I loved the hero!He was great! The herione was kind of annoying at times to me. lol Overall not bad of a read!
Safety:
There is h's ex who cheated on her. He is a total asshole. he tries to cause some drama but its handled. Hero was cheated on in the past I think its mentioned he has 2gfs. Nothing else is mentioned about his past! I would consider this pretty safe! For a rockstar he didnt come off as a manwhore at all. no ow drama!

This author really impressed me. For such a short story there was surprisingly much depth and heartache involved and also love and self growth.
I loved both MCs and how they found their way to each other. H was so sweet and even waited for weeks on h to make the decision to live his crazy stardom life. As for the h, I understood where she came from and loved how she, at the end, fought for what she wanted.
A great read. :)

This was my first book of this author and definitely not the last. I've read this two weeks ago. It's fun to read and just a light read.
Isabelle and her ex-boyfriend broke up weeks before their friends wedding. Of course, she's the maid of honor and her douchebag ex-boyfriend was the best man. The ex would bring a girl with him. The good thing was her brother has a friend, Marvin "Vin" Clementine, a famous rockstar who's willing to help her and be with her at her best friend's wedding. So Marvin flew there and met her. And that's the start of their love story.
I really enjoyed this book. It was sweet and Marvin was a wonderful hero. A very patient man and a genuine one. But Isabelle can't stand the fame because she's so shy and doesn't want to be on the spotlight so she run away. She later on realized that it doesn't matter as long as she's with Marvin and she's pregnant with his baby. She decided to contact Marvin but before it happened, she received a call from her brother telling her about Marvin's accident. So she flew there to be with him. They were able to talk when he woke up and they got their HEA. With a cute epilogue.
It's safe to read. There's no cheating, no groupies or OW. There's the ex-boyfriend but it didn't bother me because Marvin was there to protect and defend Isabelle.

My Thoughts:
I really enjoyed this book. It was a sweet and fairly innocent story of two people who were meant to be together. The characters was lovable and genuine. Marvin as a romantic was sweet, patient and just wonderful. Isabelle struggling with self confidence and a terrible ex was someone you could be truly sympathic.
I would definitely recommend this book and give it 3.5 stars rounded up to 4..it left me feeling good and smiling. Just what you need sometimes:)

She can’t even talk to her best friend about it because she is stressed about getting married and her ex is the best man in the ceremony. Marvin is different than most guys she had dated and even different than she expected a celebrity to be.
Marvin is doing his best friend a favor and taking his sister who he has never met to a wedding. Marvin is a hot and sexy man who can have almost any woman he wants. What he really wants is someone who treats him like everyone else and ignores his celebrity status.
The chemistry between Marvin and Isabelle is searing hot. Isabelle has trouble dealing with the sudden fame that dating a celebrity entails. Marvin is the one that is the most confident that Isabelle will find a way to deal with it. The sex scenes were scorching hot.
I just wish the story was longer. I found this story to be well written. I loved the main and secondary characters. They were very realistic. Overall, this was a hot story.

Ok, here's the story:
Isabelles best friend ist going to get married soon. Of course, she is the Maid of hornor.
And of course, her douchebag Ex-boyfriend is going to be there too, he is the best man.
Isabelle and her Ex broke up just a few weeks ago, he cheated on her and she kicked him out. He treats her very badly, the whole time.
Isabelles brother is working together with Mr Rockstar Marvin "Vin" Clementine. To help her to survive these awful days of the wedding, Vin attends to the wedding as her fake boyfriend.
I guess we all can imagine what happens next :)
Vin is a perferct gentleman at the wedding, he treats her very good and tries very hard not to loose his temper around Isabelles Ex-boyfriend, who keeps being rude to Isabelle. Of course Marvin fails and kicks his ass!
OH YEAH
The two of them are getting very fast very close to each other.
The 1st problem:
Isabelle lives at the Eastcoast of the USA
Marvin lives at the Westcoast of the USA
They meet each other again when Isabelle visits her brother... at least thats the plan. Vin has other plans, of course.
The 2nd problem:
Isabelle is very very shy and struggles badly with all the paparazzi, who suddenly appear around her once its public, that she is Vin are having some sort of connection.
My opinion:
I really enjoyed reading this book.
Even though the 2 of them seem to get very quickly to close, it doesn't really seem unnatural.
I loved their characters. Marvin is really open minded, while Isabelle is really shy. Marvin needs to push her a lot into his world.
The book is well written and a perferct combination between lovestory and rock star-story

So, this book was honestly a meh for me. The hero was some cardboard cutout character, the heroine was basically a doormat with some random uncharacteristic tendencies to lash out... Why did this book receive 3 stars? Because the hero is very cute in his devotion towards the heroine. Also, I wasn't too annoyed at her indecision and uncertainty - I dated a guy once who named his guitar after me and wrote a song for me, but whether or not he felt anything for me? Not too sure even now. X3 I was also only 16 years old, so I have the excuse of being basically a kid, which the heroine cannot claim.
The last bit with the hero in the hospital was lame as hell. It's like the amnesia trope. Ridiculous.

I really enjoyed this book I love reading rock star romances. The storyline was well developed and I loved the interaction between the main characters. It showed that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and love can over come if it is meant to be. I wish the book was a bit longer or maybe a second book. This is the first book I have read from Erin M. Leaf and I think I have found another great author I will be following, I really enjoyed her writing style. If you are looking for a great romantic read pick this book up today.

I thought the story had a unique turn if events and very sweet and romantic, what a romantic Marvin is (swoon) , love the characters Belle, Marvin, Ian and of course Charlie, Marvin's my fav but Belle with her shyness but in a way sassy she blurts things out she's thinking and is fun as hell. . Hated Belle's ex , what a jerk and so glad Marvin kicked his butt. The author wrote amazingly hot sex scenes and a sweet and romantic story,4.5 stars

Marvin is a really great guy. He offers to help out his friends sister and ends up falling for her. He gives her space when she thinks she wants it and waits patiently for her to come back to him when she feels the life of a celebrity is not for her.

I wasn't expecting a lot from this story, but I was quite surprised. I've enjoyed all of this author's work so I don't know why was.
Very steamy and pleasantly sweet. And who would've thought that the rock star's real name is Marvin?
Do yourself a favor and pick this up. Just make sure you don't read it at work around other people.

Perfect!!!!
This was so much fun to read!!! I usually don't like reading rockstar stories or really anything where the main hero is famous but I am so glad that I gave this book a chance!!! It was fantastic!! I couldn't get enough! This is a must read.
