Sorry-not-sorry, but the cover is so... not great. *struggling to not be rude*

I totally understand Reagan when she get's all hot and bothered when Coen does something cute and fatherly with her son, what can I say, female hormones? Seeing a hot guy holding a kid, especially your kid is so adorable and completely hot at the same time hahaha

So yeah, when I see a hot guy with a baby/kid *coff Channing Tantum coff* I cannot help this urge to jump his bones like a cat in heat xD

Just a few things to say...

I am so excited for everyone to be able to read this book. On release day grab your copy and have tissues ready. I know, I know, always have your tissues ready when your reading a Molly McAdams book right?!

Every once in a great while you stumble across a book that touches EVERYTHING you love in a book. And that's exactly what happened with Capturing Peace. I was hooked from page 1 and didn't stop until I was f

This was my first Molly McAdams book. This is mostly because I tend to avoid love triangles, and she tends to write them. But this book/novella caught my attention because it's not a love triangle, and I love inter-racial relationships. Add in a strong Asian male, and I was sold. Too bad we don't get much of his background outside the military "incident." I would have loved more cultural things in there. But I loved Coen. He was a great character. Funny and sensitive, sexy and compassio

I enjoy a good Molly McAdams book, so I was eager to read this novella that is a prequel to the start of a new series.

Reagan is hard not to love as a heroine. She is unbelievably strong and self sufficient. I always admire single mothers since I am not one and have a husband that does beyond his 50% and I still struggle. Reagan has sacrificed her life for her son's. She has closed herself off from men because she doesn't want her heart or her son's heart to be broken.

Coen is a man who knows what

Capturing Peace was a heartwarming love story about two people finding love and peace within each other. For Coen Steele, his peace came when a single mother and her son walked into his life and left a permanent mark forever. For six years, Reagan devoted her time to her son, Parker. She had no love life and put relationships on the back burner but all that changed from the moment she laid eyes on Coen. The instant chemistry between them was palpable. I really enjoyed this beautiful and heartfel ...more

When I heard Capturing Peace was being released and coming out, I got so siked for it! I love Molly McAdams and ALL of her novels! 5 stars to rate this amazing novel is just not enough so I am going to rate it myself over 5 stars and give it 10 stars!! It was just that great... Capturing Peace is a novella to start off a new series from Molly McAdams, and it is a terrific start to a new series.

Reagan is one of the main characters in this novel and she is in high school. She is dating the perfec

We all know that I'm a huge fan of this Author and with this book my fangirl status grew in leaps and bounds! I am so excited to be getting the back story on Brody from "Sharing You" It's making the anticipation all the sweeter.

In Capturing Peace We meet Coen and Reagan. Coen is a friend of Reagan's brother Keagan and Brody from "Sharing You." All three have recently left the Army for other lifestyles. Coen is a photographer and finds solace in his craft. He's tortured by an event that was beyon

We've all seen the Aristrocats right?
Good because this book could be the human version of that.

Reagan got pregnant while in her school and her boyfriend wanted her to have an abortion, she refused and he broke up with her. 6 years later she's sworn of men, except for her 6yr old son, Parker. Coen just got out of the military, he can't leave behind his war demons but he still tries to live a normal life. They meet by chance and there starts their awkward relationship.

Once again Molly has left me a wreck! A wreck I tell ya!!

Reagan got pregnant at a young age and her douche boyfriend at the time told her she would ruin both their lives and to get rid of it. With the help of her family, She was able to care for her son. She got a job and became the best mom she could. She wasn't looking for love. Heck, she didn't even think she had time for love! All she wanted was for her son, Parker to have the best.

Coen Steele is her brothers best friend. He has demons an

I always love a good Molly McAdams book, so I was eager to read this new series. Molly never disappoints with her characters and heart wrenching plots and this one was no different.

I love love love Reagan as a heroine. She is soooo strong and self sufficient, but to a fault. She's close herself off from men in general because she doesn't want them to mess with her or her son and their family dynamic which is completely understandable after what she's gone through. She is snarky and witty and I

Ive have to say i really got this book, ive been where Reagan has been and know the feeling behind the characters need to put her child first and not wanting to parade a string of guys through her sons life. Reagan is so strong and self sufficient but to a point it was ruining her. She's close herself off from men in general and has forgotten how to let someone close to her.

You can really connect with he characters.

Coen is the man, he new right from the start if he wanted a relationship with Rea

Being in the war can lead to having demons and not trusting those around you, but so can being left to survive and on your own. Coen Steele has just returned home from War and is now living as a civilian doing the thing he loves most - photography, but being home isn't easy as he finds himself unable to get a good night's sleep. That is until he meets Reagan Hudson , when she was sixteen years old she fell pregnant with her son and her boyfriend Austin at the time gave her an ultimatum - to get ...more

This was so much better than I first thought it would be. I related to Reagan and got why she his herself more than anything. I think any single mom can say we've all been there, where we're to afraid to go back out into the dating world only to be hurt. But she also was a little too clingy in the beginning with Parker. Like she was almost too afraid of not being needed by him anymore she would have shattered. But being with Coen helped her to get to a healthy place in her life and a better rela ...more

In true Molly McAdams fashion, she wraps you up in this novella and brings your emotions to the surface. The characters are fresh and real. Although fictional, their struggles are ones that happen in everyday lives.

Coen is a a military man just getting used to settling into civilian life. He's not looking for anything serious, relationship wise but when he meets single mom, Reagan, his plans start to change. He craves being near her and her son.

Reagan has been a single mom since she was sixteen

Fantastic read, which is a 'as per usual' from the great Molly!

I absolutely LOVED that 'hot Asian' he was sweet and hot and called BS on her shit!

I kind if wished we got a peek at Austin the loser so we could see how his life sucked but that's for my own personal enjoyment. :)

Parker was totes adorbs and not just bc I have a Parker too! ;)

A look of shock crossed his face for all of two seconds before he was glaring at me again. 'Just remember:You're the one who threw us away. You're the one ruining your life. Try to bring me down with you, and I'll say that thing isn't mine.'"

Of course no one ever plans on becoming pregnant at the age of 16 but Reagan sure thought her boyfriend Austin would have reacted a little better. Reagan loved her baby and couldn't bear the thought of 'getting rid' of it as Austin had put it. Thus ended her

This is a short book or a long novella however you like to look at it, but either way it is a really fast read because it is a really good read.

Coen Steele has spent the last five years in the military and now he is out and has to learn how to be a civilian. He is a photographer and has his career goals planned out, what he doesn't have is peace of mind. Coen has seen things that haunt him and keep him from sleeping. Every time I read a Molly McAdams book she just manages to leave me speechless....she writes with such emotion and feeling, and every story I read of hers she manages to capture my attention and her characters capture my heart and touch me because they seem real! I wasn't sure what to expect with this book when I first started reading. I felt like it could be just the same old story with this theme and not set apart with its differences or it could be different, totally engaging. I'm happy to say it was the latter. This story really reached out and grabbed me from the very beginning and wouldn't let me go until the last word. I love reading stories with the theme of the tortured (by memories) vet trying to find his place in the civilian world; there's ju ...more

It seems that no matter what Molly releases that she always succeeds and this book is one more example. Not only do you have Reagan who was destroyed when her boyfriend dumped her when she found out she was pregnant at 16, but you have Coen, who was one tortured soul that I was pulling for throughout the book.

Reagan was one strong heroine to me in this book. Not only did she take on the responsibility of being a young mother, but she succeeded at it and you can really tell she puts her child bef

Probably 3.5 because I really liked the storyline and the characters.

To start off, I didn't like the cover, but at least it's better than the cover of Sharing You.

I think Coen and Reagan might be ones of the most likeable characters that Molly McAdams has created so far. Coen was thoughtful and supper sweet, even he was sort of an ass later on, but at least he made up for it afterward. I liked that Reagan was independent and a devoted mother.

The storyline was not much different from other new ad

Don't take me wrong, the book is good. But when you say "It's a Molly McAdams' book" I expect nothing but amazing... And this book didn't amaze me.

It tells the story of... Jesus, what's her name? (see? It didn't make an impression). Reagan! Ok! The story begins with Reagan and how she got pregnant at the age of sixteen and her boyfriend told her to get an abortion. His words were "Get rid of it" (douchebag... Seriously, who says that?). A few years later, she's growing her son, being inde

I truly loved this book! It had everything I love about a book! The only reason it's not 5 stars is because there was a few things that felt left out, not that they made the story bad or anything but I could have dealt with a little more.... I'm scared to read sharing yo.... After Brody's part in this book I'm not sure I can handle it.... But I will anyways :)

Molly is one of my favorite authors, it started with taking chances and the way she can make you hate that you love her so much! But I do!

I wish that this book would have been a full novel instead of a novella. I liked the story between Coen and Reagan and their relationship blossomed and how Coen felt a connection to Parker on a subconscious level. I am also glag that Coen's demons were revealed instead of hinted at and left untold. I hope to see both of theses characters in the next book of this series. ...more
