Once again Katee Robert take us on a VERY imaginative sci-fi journey. I thought she did an excellent job adding new planets, guns, spaceships, aliens and so much more. This is where I feel the author's talents really shines through.

This is Jenny O’Keirna’s story, she is the sister of the hero, Boone

Queen of Wands is the second installment of the Sanctify series, and takes off immediately where Katee Robert's first novel Queen of Swords ended, and tosses the reader out into space for some action packed sci-fi adventure and heated romance.

Jenny O'Keirna has been itching to get off-planet and get back in the captain's chair of her ship. When she gets the chance to help her older brother Boone out, now the new King of Hansarda and a new father as well, she jumps at the chance. She's mo

I enjoyed the second book in the Sanctify series. I enjoyed the characters, I enjoyed the story and I enjoyed the world. The romance was steamy and it was great to see Jenny getting her man. I would read more from this series.

Queen of Wands is the second book in the Sanctify series and this time around we have Jenny O’Keirna, Boone’s sister and pain in his ass! I was glad we were getting Jenny’s book, she was super fun in book one and I knew I would want her story. I’ll come out and say straight away that I thought the man for her would be Cole who she very much enjoys tormenting with her own brand of wit and sarcasm, but low and behold – she has another

Queen of Wands is the second installment of Sanctify series, and after read it, imo, this one is better than its predecessor, Queen of Swords. Less confusing world building, no plotholes and still action packed. Actually you might want to read Queen of Swords first, because both h/H, Jenny O'Kierna and Mac Flannery already introduced in QoS. Jenny even play a big role in Ophelia and Boone's story while Mac just barely mentioned.

The story is continued after QoS, so this review will contai

This is the second book in the Sanctify series, and although I loved the first book, I enjoyed this one so much more.

The first book revolved around Boone and Ophelia and, although Jenny O'Keirna played a pretty big role in the first book, she is the major player in this second book.  This is her story, and what a fun story it is!  She was my favorite character in the first book, so I was absolutely thrilled to find out that we were getting a book completely devoted to her this time around.  I ca

This is the follow up book to Queen of Swords that impressed so many readers with it's sci fi setting and fast paced action. I have only recently been introduced to this authors work and have found it to be both intense and packed full of action. With this new series Ms Robert gives us a world full of aliens, lasers, spaceships and of course romance ! Strong kick ass heroines and sexy alpha males only add to the fun!

I have to admit, the title kind of threw me off a bit. Looking at the title, Queen of Wands, I pretty much assumed that she would turn out to be a Sorceress or Witch with like wicked, mad powers. Turns out the reference was to Tarot Cards'. Though I was a tad bit disappointed that was not the case, I was not disappointed in this read, other than wishing I had read book 1, Queen of Swords. In retrospect, had I read the first I wou

I knew before I finished book one in this series, Queen of Swords, that I would be reading book two ASAP. One, it would continue a story set in a world that I found fascinating, and two it would be Jenny's story. Jenny was such an awesome secondary character in book one; I'd be hard pressed to find another one so deserving of her own book in my recent reading history.

So...it's safe to say I went into this one with some pretty high expectations. They were met...to an extent.

So this book follows on the heels of Queen of Swords-Ophelia and Boone’s story. This is Jenny and Mac’s story. I have to say I really loved reading Jenny’s story. I loved her character, witty, a smartass and a fighter to the end. If you have not read Queen of Swords do so before, I actually recommend reading High Priestess (short story of Marinna and Gerald) then Queen of Swords and then Queen of Wands, the information in there will make sense in

Queen of Wands is the second in the Sanctify Series. Though it's not necessary to read the first book, Queen of Swords, it will be helpful as most of the world building is done in that novel. The main characters, Jenny and Mac are also introduced in QoS.

Minor spoilers for Queen of Swords lay ahead, though nothing you won't read in this book's description.

You’ve got to love a brainy guy. Well, I’ve got to love a brainy guy, and, as it turns out, so does Jenny O’Kierna, the heroine in the second book in the Sanctify series by Katee Robert. Jenny is the sister to the hero from the first in the series, Queen of Swords, and some of the universe-building will make more sense if you read that one first. It was still pretty easy to dive into Queen of Wands headfirst, th

It is not often I get my hands on a really decent sci-fi paranormal romance but I do believe I have with this one. On top of that this is the first time reading this author with this being the second one in the series. It did not really matter though because it was still easy to get into and follow which says much because no time for those that don't. Love it when the main character is independent can stand on her own two feet like Jenny can. She gets to be the one to pick up this inventor named ...more

Queen of Wands is the only book of the three that does not include a Diviner as one of the MCs (and I can tell you, I was really hoping to get the perspective of a male Diviner, after all, Jeremiah is mentioned throughout the first two books, so clearly they exist) and that made for another interesting aspect of the readings. It shows the faith those of other religions in this galaxy have for the foretelling’s of the cards.

This sci-fi romance takes the reader on a thrilling adventure through the galaxy. Jenny O’Keirna is tasked with babysitting a to-smart-for-his-own-good inventor, Mac Flannery, which she thought it would be an easy task. But she wasn’t expecting the attraction that sparks between them – or that Sanctify wants him too.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on the edge of their seat with lots of action, suspense, drama and romance. The author brings the story to life with well writt

There’s something to be said about a man who can see a woman for who she really is. Strength, intelligence, and beauty might increase his attraction to her, but they mean nothing if he doesn’t know how to handle the woman hiding from the rest of the world.

When it came to Jenny, Mac was that man. He saw behind the smart mouth, cutting words, and rough edges to see a woman who longed for someone to believe in her enough to see she wasn’t a reckless as she seemed, to see she was capable of doing wh

The second installment of the Sanctify series does not disappoint. We met Jenny O’Keirna, Boone’s sister, in Queen of Swords. She is feisty, quick-tempered, and completely outrageous but Mac Flannery, Azure Enterprises prized inventor, is attracted to her all the same. Jenny doesn’t know what it is about surprisingly sexy but nonetheless nerdy inventor that makes her pulse race and libido sky rockets but she grudgingly admits she likes it, a lot. I found Jenny's character appealing since externally she is as strong as any man but internally she is as messed up as the rest of us. I love this series. It's a lot of fun to read and I love seeing the other couples pass through and build on the overall story line. Sanctify, and it's wretched leaders, makes for a fantastic set of villains, and the couple in this book, Jenny and Mac, were great. Jenny's had to deal with a lot (including a psycho brother and father) and she's out to prove she can do anything despite the cotton wool her other brother, and newly crowned king, wants to wrap her in. However, I really could have used a glossary for all of the terms that the author was throwing out. I will say that I had no idea that it was part of a series when I read it. Great read! I found Jenny a great character but it didn't have the Ophelia/Boone passion. I also think the ending left the readers hanging, an epilogue would have been a nice way to wrap up some loose ends. I hope there is a another book in the series.
