2.75 stars. This book had so much potential. I really like all of the characters in the Hart series and tuned in again because I want to know where each of them will end up by the end of the series.

This book fell short for me for a couple of reasons. First and most importantly, because the story was told from two POV’s which I usually love. However, in this book each chapter was retold in the next chapter from the alternate POV….word by word. This might have been okay if the book was longer tha

I really wanted to like this story. After reading the first book Broken Hart, I was actually excited and looking forward to this one.

But the constant change of POV ruined it for me. Normally it doesn't matter to me, if it is well written, but here it was just annoying: one moment we have Damien's POV and then turn of page and we have the EXACT SAME MOMENT from the beginning but with Brooke's POV. The exact same scene, same dialogues, everything. There are even a numerous of scenes from book 1 (

I'm not convinced I'll ever tire of the Hart boys, this series is easy reading romance at its best. Be warned these boys are smutastic.

Damien Hart a self confessed man whore, his sole concern for relationships is that of a physical nature, however this bad boy finds himself in love with a close friend of the family. The story shows the journey of Damien discovering that he is capable of loving another, *sweet girly sigh* and moving past his own demons to have the HEA he deserves.

Brooke is a swee

A quick, fast read. Nothing new here, but the author does a really good job of making you feel connected to the characters. I could have done without the POV redundancy, excellent strategy but poor execution. Also, this book is in serious need of editing. Grammatical errors galore and even places where the wrong name is being used. Normally if there are only a few I can overlook it, but these were all over the place. Even with all that, I'll definitely continue on with the series. I'm really loo ...more

Will write my review and rate it when I have finished the whole box set. I want to review and rate them all together since for me each book is a part of the other and if you read the first one, you have to read them all to get the whole story for all the characters.

This book was so damn yummy.. I ate this sucker up like a pint of Ben&Jerry's chunky monkey ice cream.. DELICIOUS!!

Brooke has been in love with Damien since the moment she laid eyes on him a couple of years earlier..she had no idea that Damien felt the same way. One night he gave in an inch and took things further than he felt he should have alowwed himself too.. he shut it down before it went further..leaving Brooke confused, heart

Ella Fox has a writing style that unfortunately gets on my nerves. Add to that, this book had annoying characters, and I struggled to get to the end.

The main characters were both far too immature, and their rambling inner monologue drove me batty. How can I make him want me, over and over from her, and his insistence that he wasn't good enough from him. That was really all I seemed to get from the whole story.

The sexual tension was high, and if I could have just cared for either mc I could of e

Phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal.

I didn't realize until I read this book how much additional depth hearing a story through both the hero and the heroine's POV added. I LOVED Broken Hart, but I see now that knowing how Dante felt would have added even more to the story.

I read a review over on Amazon about this book that indicated that the reader had an issue with the first half of this book explaining a few key scenes between the H/h through both points of view. For me, it added SO MUCH to the

Ugh, I tried, but I've more than reached my limit now. Where to start?

I already wasn't all that happy with the first book but thanks to not being able to leave a book of a series on my reader, I still started the second book. I'm not sure where all the high ratings come from, as I disagree to 100%. It's a case of: "Did we read the same book?"

Let's start with the dual POVs: Damien and Brooke tell the story in mostly alternating chapters, which would be quite alright if one POV wo
This book started just fine but somewhere in the middle i got distracted!

It lacked on editing in some places, which i don't like and surely missed the spark that could make it better.
It also repeated too much on the Dual POV and it just felt rushed on other parts.. For example we never found out Brooke went back to her family house to live..
No we had to remember that from the first book..
It wasn't DNF but had multi problems..
I think the biggest was that part of the story was happening along w

OH how I LOVE the Hart family. They are all so loving and can't even see it. I loved the little twist in the end with Dominique, I did not see that one coming. DANTE AND DAMIEN are so freakin' fine but at the same time so loving and compassionate. I would love to go to their Sunday Family Dinners and be apart of their family unit. I love this series!!! I can't wait for the next because let's face it with that ending I know there will be, I just hope it is soon!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this series!!!

OHMIGOSH!!! She did it again! I LOVED this book! Broken Hart is my favorite, because I am in love with Dante...haha =), but man Damien is not far behind! Man are the HART MEN sexy or WHAT?! HECK YES!!!

I always thought when I was reading Broken Hart for the first time that-- "Man I wished Damien and Brooke would hook up!" I even thought at one point he was talking about Brooke during his convo with Sabrina. I just thought it was wishful thinking!

I GUESS NOT!!! Man I loved this book so MUCH!

At a point I was like: OK.GOING TO F*$K OR WHAT? This book is a complete tease. Actually, I thought that the main male character was such a girl sometimes *frustrated*. He is always, and I mean ALWAYS, pulling at the last minute from doing you know what. It's like HE is the girl. He had EVERYTHING to be a freaking bad-boy-alpha-male-god, BUT he isn't. I loved the girl. She is the kind of female character that I appreciate in a book (completely NOT an idiot, indecisive little girl that annoys the ...more

Was hoping to like this one as much as the first, but that was not to be.
The author changed the format up a bit on this one. She changed to alternating (Damon-one/two chapters then Brooke-one/two chapters) first person present POV. The time line of the book also overlapped the time line of the first book. This made for WAY too much repetition. Not only did you get a rehash of events every other chapter (for most-not all of the book) with a lot of exactly repeated dialogue, but there was

I'm sorry I couldnt give it a full 5 stars, but I'll give it a strong 4.9! Sometimes I don't complain about how fast passed a story is but when I love a storyline and family (like the Hart's and Tyler's) then I want it to slow down. The story was quick, breezed through some part I thought should be a little more dramatic. I liked the POV switch, it was a nice touch. Overall though, I seriously love the Hart brothers. I can't wait for more on Dominique and Delilah. Ella creates a

My only complaint about Dante's story was not enough insight in to his POV. Love that Damien's story was written in alternating POV and that we get to see him struggle with his (poor) decisions. He is even hotter than his brother, and that's saying something! Fabulous book! I am looking forward to seeing what fresh hell Delilah is going to put Spencer through! I hope she makes him work for it, bless her heart.

Amaizinly hot,sexy,loving,naughty and delicious.

Cant wait to read the 3th part.
I was excited to contiune the series after Broken Hart but as I started to read I quickly realized that it was just a repeat of the first book arrghhh! It was from Damien and Brook's point of view but I already knew what happened and their side of it didn't shed any new light on it. I found myself skimming through the book sadly. Then finally it started to be all of Damien and Brooks story whew. Damien was more hard nosed than Dante when it came to following his heart. Once things broke loose an ...more

I been going crazy for this book I LOVED the first book when I knew that there would be a Damien story I was checking Ella Fox blog every day to get an update... So when she posted that amazon was having problems with releasing her book I went a little crazy (just a little) but it as worth the wait..
I swear their is something about the Hart, Tyler and Cross family that grow on you and you just want to keep reading about their lives. In Broken Hart it Dante and Sabrina(Rina) Story, we get a glimp
I'm intrigue with Brooke & Damien's story and I'm glad I continue devouring Hart siblings. I love this more than the first. Still steamy as ever (EVER!!!) but I love that they focus more on the story than banging. I like the exchange of POV and now I'm devouring Loving Hart. I'm becoming a fan of Ella Fox step by step with every book. Keeps getting better, sexier, scorching hot, and emotionally deep!☺☻☺☻☺

I can only give this book a 3. It drove me crazy the constant replay of events in the different POV's. Don't get me wrong Damein and Brook are hot and had a good story but it just didn't capture me like Broken Hart, the first book in this series.

I had such high hopes & expectations going into this book because I loved Book 1, "Broken Hart" with Dante & Sabrina. Not that I disliked book #2 but there were just so many things stopping this for me from being a 5-star read. I'll just list the things that I could've done without.

• Very sticky and cheesy at times lol Don't get me wrong I love Damien & I loved Brooke as well. But I thought he was a bit too cheesy sometimes. I'm a total romantic and I love romance. But sometimes it c

I was nervous about starting book 2. For a couple of reasons . One I wanted to learn more about Dante and Sabrina before I started someone else's story . Two sometimes reading series is a HUGE commitment to find out later in the game that you should've stopped at book 1. Well Friday was the day I needed something not on my immediate TBR, beta , ARC list to divulge in and Tony (my kindle) picked Shattered Hart.

I really enjoyed this book! To my delight my favorite couple Dante and

I wasn't a fan of how the book started. I already had figured out in Broken Hart that Damien had a thing for Brooke, so going back all the way to the first night then jumping to random events a year later was just a little pointless to me. Plus half the book was the exact same story, just every chapter we got the same information back to back just from the different POVs. I like switching POV, that wasn't what bothered me, it was the fact that rather than continuing the story when the POV change ...more

Shattered Hart is the second book on the Hart series. This one is about Damien and Brooke and even though it was entwined with all the events that happen in the first book, even with all the same characters it felt complete different. Brooke its Sabrina's little sister, she is a 22 year old virgin, but she is very mature and I liked her personality, she would handle things much better than poor Damien, who I felt was loosing his mind in most of the book. Damien is twenty five and he has been in ...more

I enjoyed this one, though the wording issues from the first one existed in this one: "taught stomach", "get the led out"... but for the most part, the editing was decent. Parts were repetitive, though. And what, exactly, does a tiny pussy look like? My mind's eye pictures this normal-sized woman with this little, itty bitty vaginal area. I'm pretty sure that's not the appropriate visual, but it was there several times, and that's what stuck in my brain. ~shrugs~

I was looking forward to reading this book because I loved the characters I met in the first book of the series 'Broken Hart' I wasn't to impressed with the writing style of that book, so I went into this expecting the same. The writing style was totally different, the author swapped between Brooke and Damien's POV's it got a little confusing at times, it would of worked better if at the chapter changes when the POV change occurred if she just had their name as a title to let you know whose head ...more
