Kihanna is growing on me, I'll admit. And I will also admit that I don't know why she's growing on me. She's not a perfect protagonist and the way that everyone fawns over her in this series - saying she's "perfect," that she's "different," that she's "the most beautiful girl in the room," etc. - it does get kind of sickening. But it does seem, to me, like Amare captured the way that teens think, at least in part. (What can I say - it's been awhile since I've been a teen. XD)
However, what I found unrealistic is that it took two months of putting up with her stalker on her own, and three deaths, before Kihanna was convinced to go to the police about this. I mean, we're talking teen logic here, so I guess it "makes sense" - but still, seems like at least one of the friends that she had helping her would have suggested it to her.
But nope, it took boyfriend #3 to convince her. Gah, Kihanna, you astound me... and not always in good ways.
No. Just no. I liked the first book. The second one was even better. There was some growth to the characters and relationships evolved into something believable. But in this book...Kihanna is just a hot mess. Her resoning for her very stupid actions is just... silly. And no I just can't stand her at all. Suddenly everything she's felt was false and not at all true and a guy she's known for two seconds might be the love if her life. Seeing where she started in book one she truly has regressed. I'm still curious to know how it all ends, but don't care about the MC at all. I hope that changes in the next book.

I am loving this series now and it just keeps getting better and better. This book sees Kihanna heading to Hawaii on a cruise ship with her family but her stalker is along for the ride and makes there self known by text messaging Kihanna. The stalker reveals secrets about Kihanna's family which cause chaos and the stalker also give Kihanna an ultimatum which Kihanna has to do or else the people closes to her will be harmed.
I really want to know who the stalker is! It's driving me batty not knowing but it is keeping me hooked and i'm always looking forward to the next book. Gabe and Ty are find so annoying but i really like Brian, the pool guy who is down to earth and so caring and kind where as i find the other two to be so spoiled. Kihanna confuses me so much as she flits from one boyfriend to the next but i find her rather funny.
Overall it's a fabulous book and i love that this series is getting better and better, the more it progresses. I just want to know who the stalker is!!
I am so hooked on this series. Every book keeps getting better and better. So much happens in this book that I had to take a break before I could write my review.
They start out on their vacation but as you would suspect the stalker make their presence know. Kihanna is yet again put in horrible situation. Her decision, yet hard, was done with all those involved best interest at heart. I think was the best she could have done.
I am Team Brian. Does he have a team? if not I'm starting it right now. I think he could be the best thing for her. He seems to be the only one besides Toby, who has Kihanna's best intrest at heart. He keeps her grounded in this crazy new life.
Holy Bejesus! The situation with her dad & Toby's mom...whoa! And then the ending? Mercy, are you trying to kill me?!?! Seriously you need to write faster! I don't know how I'm going to make it until It's So Obvious is here.
If you haven't read this book what are you waiting for?
Okay, let me just say I have so much emotions right now. I want to cry, scream, smile, and laugh right now, possibly at the same time. Holy Kihanna!!! How could you? Why did you do that? Was that really necessary? Why, oh why? I feel..... Shock, Anger, Sadness, Understanding, etc,. much more! This book is hard to put into words. It's pretty suspenseful.but not overly. She still is getting the notes from that stalker and I am getting anxious. Oh god, she is coming closer and closer to cracking that mystery. What is the mystery you ask? Who is the stalker!! I have my suspicions in each book but Mercy Amare are keeps making me change my mind! I am utterly defeated. I don't know who this stalker is, but this stalker is causing Kihanna to make some rather sad decisions if you ask me. I really enjoyed reading this book although I wanted to rip my hair off when she did the unthinkable. If you want to find out this unthinkable then read this book. Trust me, this isn't a book you can just skip over, because you will be completely confused when you read the next one. This book deserve 5.5 stars if you ask me.
I absolutely LOVE this Kihanna series. It's romance galore, Its Dramatic. Its suspenseful. EVERYTHING I love in a book. The writing style is just fantastic. I love how it goes day by day. Even go through every few hours. I just love how well it is written. If you havent started this series please go start it. You will just fall in love with these characters. Kihanna in just 3 books has taken on so much. Plus the guys that are infatuated with her along with the guys she dates is just so great to read. I have my theories on who I want to be the stalker. But then as I read the story I realize I really don't want the stalker to be that person. I am just confused on some of these people that could be the stalker. There are some new characters that come into this series. There are some characters that die. NO ONE is safe. This author is slowly killing me with this series. I just can't stop reading it and I cannot to wait to continue on with this series. Kihanna is by far a really great character I cannot wait to continue the series. 5 Stars if I could I would give alot more stars Romance, Young Adult High School Suspense story
Mercy is depriving me of my sleep!! I absolutely love Kihanna and the dynamics between her and the other characters. The author has done an amazing job keeping me on my toes trying to guess who the bad guy is. But also making the characters very relatable, they have drama, she changes boyfriends often, parents have struggles. We aren't all billionaires, but definitely takes me back to high school. (minus the bad guy drama) so glad to learn the next book is out and I don't have to wait!
This book is so awesome! The whole time I'm reading it I feel like I'm holding my breath! It definitely has a pretty little liars vibe with the whole stalker thing. It honestly feels even MORE nerve racking reading about it! I just really wish Kihanna could have an actual break and find SOME evidence against the stalker. Anyway, read it in a couple hours! Awesome read! Definitely recommend this series. Can't wait for more!!!
This one is more like 2.5 stars. The story is getting a little over-dramatic for me, and the way she's flopping from guy to guy is so out-of-sync with who she's supposed to be. And if I read "I've never felt like THIS before" or "I've never wanted XYZ MORE" or anything else close, I may gag a little. And the page numbers are seriously misleading, because I read this one in like an hour. That's NOT 281 pages.
ok Kihanna is not my favorite person in this book. she fought so hard to be with Gave. I get why she did what she did. but jumping from one boyfriend to the next and not even waiting 24 hours is driving me mad!!! her family is falling apart and another person is gone. I just feel bad for her in some ways. but at the same time I want to knock some sense into her..
ugh! this stalker is most annoying! who is it? Ty, Toby, Gabe, maybe Brian? I keep flipping back and forth which is exactly what the author intends and might I add - she's doing a great job at it! I'm just as nuts as Kihanna over the possibilities on who it could be!
on to book 4 for more clues... more disasters, and maybe the answer!
this was a good book too. it's Christmas break and Kihannas and Gabe's family are going to Hawaii. the biggest part of the book is on the cruise on their way to Hawaii.
Veronica is pregnant Victoria and Toby are trying to date and Kihanna starts to write with the pool boy Brian.
Going to Hawaii for Christmas vacation should be an exciting time for Kihanna but the threats on her loved ones and her life won't allow for that. This story just seems to get more intense and dramatic. If you are at this point in the series then you are definitely addicted to this story and can't wait to see what happens next. Starting next one now.
Great story and captivating series. Well written with great characters. The entire series really keeps you reading to find out what is going to happen next.
