I think we should do a recap of my Andrés

I am the luckiest blogger ever. I finished Say When and then Tara sent me over Say Yes. I was in heaven.
Totally me.
It completely lived up to my expectations with some surprises thrown in for Christina that I did not see coming at all. Good or bad? I won’t tell, but that girl does deserve some good in her life.
There is a situation in the book, where honestly, I completely get where Christina is coming from, BUT I would totally react that same way that Andrés did. That choice she made (which led to an awesome scene with The Viper) had a snowball effect, leading to Andrés’ decision, and that led to two people not knowing what the future was going to hold. This couple that we love, with this beautiful blossoming relationship are now struggling and my heart was breaking. I wanted to reach through the pages and shake one of them, maybe both, and say you love her, she loves you, stop being stupid.
It’s a good book when you want to reach through the pages and shake one of the characters. I would have been happy slapping Jackson and The Viper just once. The Viper is just evil.
Then there is the story line with Christina’s best friend and her mother. Break my heart. That poor woman didn’t deserve the life she was handed.
It’s so hard to write a review for a book that you absolutely adore. You want to say and this happened and then this and you are not going to believe this twist, but I can’t. I just have to say read Say When. Fall in love with Andrés and Christina, then pick up Say Yes. Follow their journey, have your heart yanked around a few times, and then… and then my friends …. coming soon is Say Forever.
I know.
I’m dying.
I want to read it like yesterday.

Say Yes!

I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review through Net Galley.
This is the second book in the Something More series. I must confess that I did not realize it was a second book and have not read the first one. However, that did not impede my enjoyment or understanding of the story what so ever.
This book was suprisingly unique in its plot. It was very easy to read and extremely well written. It bounces back and forth as being told in both the female and male point of view and I found this very easy to keep track of and a great way to see inside the thoughts and feelings of both characters.
Andres is and ex military man who has been dealing with PTSD but has found love and hope with Christina. He comes from a very large extended loving family. His parents are deceased and he was raised by his aunt and uncle. Family and children are very important to him.
Christina was raised by a mean drunk and a horrible mother. She has had a traumatic childhood and is not in a hurry to either get married or have children of her own. Oh Oh, with all his family pushing them to get married and family being so important to him this is bound to cause issues. To top it off her godson Tyler is sick and she spends as much time as possible with him. Huh, Andre thinks maybe she just does not want his children or his family.
Christina has some thinking to do. Andres has some thinking to do. It was amazing to watch her as the story reveals some truly unforseen events that will shape and reshape her character and her future. She needs to re evaluate all that is important to her and try to find what means the most.
This story was extremely well written and there were many scenes that I just did not see coming. I loved watching the struggles that these two lovers go through. I thought it was very realistic. It was great to read how insecure that Andres was feeling. Very real to me. Great to know that men have feelings too.! Great cliff hanger! Can't wait to read the next one. I would recommend this book to everyone. 5/5 for sure!!

It’s been six months since the end of Say When and Christina and Andrés are living together and their life couldn’t be more perfect. Andrés wants more to the relationship & proposing to Christina is the next step for him but he is afraid that she won’t say yes. When he learned that she doesn’t want to have any children, he is suspicious that she will get back with her ex-fiancé Jackson, now that he has the custody of his son Ty.
Christina is stressed out but she is glad that Andrés is in her life. She could not have done anything without him. But when he walks out on her and she knows it’s her fault, there is nothing she can do but realize her past is the past and she needs to move on with her life.
Say Yes is a perfect addition to the series. I’m not going to lie, I was a little disappointed with the previous book, mostly because I wasn’t that connected with all the characters. It was the same with this one as well but after about 40% of the story, it definitely captured my attention and made me glad that I didn’t give up on the book.
I can’t wait to read the next book in the series, Say Forever which should be released in the next few months. Yayyy!

“I’m afraid she won’t say yes.”–Andrés
It’s been six months since the end of Say When, and Christina and Andrés are living their happily ever after together. Well, kinda. They’re living together, and while Andrés is ready to move forward, Christina likes things the way they are. Possibly forever. Unfortunately for Christina, life doesn’t want to be stable and in addition to Andrés wanting more, her ex-fiance, ex-best friend, and estranged mom are sabotaging her and Andrés’s attempts at happily ever after…
“I bet my psychology professor would love to analyze my screwed-up brain, although I’m sure I’d get a bad grade on that test.”–Christina
I enjoyed the sequel to Say When much more than the original, particularly the last half of the book. I wasn’t a fan of Christina in the first book, but I found she started to grow on me, especially after some major bombshells were revealed in the book! She’s still recovering from her traumatic childhood and engagement, and has swung the other way as a result. Instead of being a doormat, she’s a bit selfish when it comes to Andrés by not considering his wants and needs. I loved that she was able to see this and grow throughout the book.
Andrés is such an awesome boyfriend for being so supportive of Christina. I love that he’s still head over heels in love with her as in the first book. We do see some of his flaws in this book, particularly his insecurities and jealousies, which make him seem so much more real. Considering both of their backgrounds growing up, it makes so much sense that they would have the relationship conflicts that they do, and I love how the author was able to present both sides so that I can see why each feels the way they do and can sympathize.
The heat level in this book is high with detailed and hot sex scenes, which at the start made me worry for them that Andrés was partly right in that their relationship was too much based on being physical. In the later part of the book, there’s a major shocker that I loved, especially how that influences Christina’s new future outlook! I was surprised at the end of the book by the mini-cliffhanger, which I say is mini because it’s a great lead in for book 3 or a fun ending for us to imagine what happens next.
If you enjoyed the first book, Say When, definitely pick this one up. If you haven’t read the first one, there’s enough backstory that you can go ahead and read this one and even go back and enjoy the first book later on. Overall, this book was a 4 out of 5 for me until the shocker when it switched to a 5 out of 5!

* * Just a quick note to you readers that this book number two and this is Not a stand alone and I highly suggest you lovely readers to check out book one before you get to this book. Be sure to check out my review to the first book Say When:-) * *
Andrés and Christina are going through the downs and up for every relationships. Because of her past experiences Christina doesn't want kids. Meanwhile Andrés as a huge family and is being pessured by his family about putting a ring on her finger and when are kids coming into the picture. It is all just too much for Christina, she is at the point where she feels pressured with visiting Ty and her nasty ex-fiance with the fart smelling breath or being with Andrés. Things just seem to get worse and their entire relationship is getting strained.
Once again Tara West has come up with another fantastic book. I loved this book from the very start and pretty much did nothing until I was done with the book. Unfortunately now I have to go back to the real world and take care of a bunch of stuff that I haven't taken care of due to this book. I loved the characters and of course hated her biotch of a mother and her ex-best friend. Now even though I loved that there was both Andrés and Christina's point of view I wish there was more of Andrés POV. This book was well written and characters well-developed and I enjoyed this book very much. Throughout the book I just wanted her ex-fiance to give up the baby to Christina. If there a person who should have Ty is Christina. I love that Christina is relatable. I feel for her situation getting pressured to have kids, shes young has a reason for not having children and people should back off of her. Also shes been Andrés for a short while, theres no need to rush or worry about commitment. They are young and they should take advantage of their freedom before they worry about children, commitment, and marriage.

Say Yes begins six months into Andrés and Christina’s relationship. They are more in love than ever. While Andrés is thinking of the future, Christina is completely content with how things are now. Their relationship is rocked to their core when they both realize that they have different views on what forever looks like.
I absolutely loved this follow up with Say When. The writing, the characters, everything was even better than the first! I really enjoy this writer’s style of writing. She doesn’t fluff up the chapters with drama. She goes for it and makes it hard to put this book down. Andrés is not the typical blonde blue eyed man. He is tanned and beautiful. He has culture and we are engrossed in it throughout the book. Tara West gives her characters substance and I believe this is why I have enjoyed the series thus far. Her characters are REAL and relatable.
With the love between Andrés and Christina is stronger and deeper than ever, jealousy and insecurities threatens to rip them apart. And just when you think nothing else could go wrong, there’s a huge twist in the story. I think I was left with my mouth hanging open. Literally. It was such a great twist though, it added depth to the story and made me love the characters even more.
Overall, this was an amazing follow up! The only thing I wish is that this book was longer so that we could spend more time with Andrés * dreamy sigh *. If you are looking for a refreshing read with a loving and romantic leading man that loves harder than anyone, then this is the book for you. Love heals all things. This book attests to that. I cannot wait for the third book in the series, Say Forever.

After reading Say when I immediately went straight for Say Yes, now after reading Say yes, I’m sad to say I don’t have another one to read. I really hope Andrés & Christina’s story continues in some way. I have to say that I loved this book more than the first one. Again they are both so well written, and a great storyline. Watching them both take the journey to see where their lives are going to lead. Can Christina ultimately commit? Can Andrés face his fears of being rejected? I have to say this was a very fulfilling 165 pages, to me it seems really short but even saying that this story wasn’t missing anything. I hate that it seems like a black cloud follows Christina around. And the self doubt that Andrés has about their relationship causes so much problems for both of them I guess really the both have lot of self doubt when I really think about it. I’m gonna say that this book was a wonderful story, and I just hope we continue to see more from them!

Book two of the Something More series starts out with quite the bang. Tara West had my heart pounding immediately as we see Christina visiting baby Ty in the hospital with an unknown illness that could be life threatening. The pace of the story stays intense throughout the whole story as Andre and Christina examine their relationship and stumble over hurdles they didn't realize were there.
Both Andre and Christina will have some life altering experiences that have the potential to draw them even closer together or separate themm forever. There are several misunderstandings thrown in that only served to complicate things - just a little too much for my taste. Their lives have enough without the added drama. I did love the new family issues and experiences that they see, it explained a lot of their pasts and helped them move forward as individuals as well. There is a massive cliff hanger at the end.....I'm not sure when Book Three will be released, but I hope it's soon.

When we meet up with Christina and Andres again they have been together for a while. That said this book is full of family pressure and misunderstandings. Andres' family is pressuring the two to get married and start a family and while Andres would love nothing more Christina is not ready for that. She is still just learning to be her own person. Christina is not sure that she will ever be ready for marriage and she doesn't want children ever. When Christina and Andres see differently on a situation the two are forced to make decisions that will lead them in different directions. They are both completely miserable without each other and must decide if they can forgive and move on or stay away.
Again I was hooked with this book from the very beginning. I loved Say When and could not wait to find out more about Christina and Andres. This book makes you laugh, cry, and gasp. I wanted to hit some of the characters and hug others. Which in my opinion makes a really great book and a must read. Well done Tara West.

This is the second book in the series of Something More and continues where Say When finishes. This series is aptly named because it will leave you wanting "Something More" but not in a bad way. You will become entwined in the lives of Andres and Christina and the friends and foes that they have.
There are some tough decisions to be made in this book and it's not all sweetness and light with a bit of steam thrown in! Some characters disappear, although I'm sure they will make a return at some point, just like a bad smell. New characters are introduced with roles to play. One thing about the characters in these books is that there is no mediocrity - you love them or hate them, and trust me, there are some that I hate!
Loved this book, loved the first book and am now eagerly awaiting the third (even though this has only just been released!)
Highly recommended for all Adult Romance fans.

Say Yes is the sequel to Say When, and an amazing love story with humor! Tara West makes you feel these characters.
Christina is happy in her relationship with Andres but he wants more.
A future with Christina as his wife, and mother of his kids. They both go thru their ups and downs.
Going thru a difficult time, Christina turns to someone that still loves her being one of the reasons
Andres is having conflicted emotions toward her.
Can true love survive all?
If you haven't read Say When,the first novel in this series you'll want too.

This was a great sequel; honestly I think it was better than the first book. I felt like the author did an amazing job describing the changes and emotions that the characters were experiencing through-out the book. I loved the new development in Christina's life. I love how strong she is and how she didn't let her fear stop her from progressing and going after what she wanted. Tara does a great job conveying the anxiety, pain, and joy of the main characters and I still wanna give them both big hugs. Can't wait to see what's next for Christina and Andres.
So glad that Tara fixed the POV issue from the first book. Although there were a few editing/spacing issues it was a great book.

4.5 solid stars!
After reading book 1, I could not wait to get my hands on more Christina and Andres. I think this book might actually be better than the first one, which is really saying something for me. I loved that we got more of Christina's backstory and how we watched her grow.
What I love most about Tara's writing style is that she uses day to day, real life relationship problems with her characters and this allows us to develop a deep emotional connection. A sign of a good book is when you can actually feel it. This is definitely one of those and is so good. The thing that pulled my rating down is the cliffhanger. I HATE cliffhangers, especially when I have no idea how long I have to wait.

After reading book 1, I could not wait to get my hands on more Christina and Andres. I think this book might actually be better than the first one, which is really saying something for me. I loved that we got more of Christina's backstory and how we watched her grow.
What I love most about Tara's writing style is that she uses day to day, real life relationship problems with her characters and this allows us to develop a deep emotional connection. A sign of a good book is when you can actually feel it. This is definitely one of those and is so good. The thing that pulled my rating down is the cliffhanger. I HATE cliffhangers, especially when I have no idea how long I have to wait.

Great book, I stayed up until 4am because I just had to finish it! Andres and Christina have a really intense, passionate affair going on. They may be a new relationship but it is not a light one. Christina and Andres both have their insecurities that come into play big time during the novel. It actually derails their relationship for a bit. The lessons they learn as the story progresses brings them back together but not until after you get quite a few heart-aching moments. I'm not going to lie--I shed a few tears here and there! The characters were well developed and the story is pretty meaty. I'm off to find the other two books in this series now!

What a great second book to the series.
Who wouldn't fall in love with a hunky character like Andres. Andres is the type of character that leaves you breathless. This book will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride that you never want to get off of. Tara did a fantastic job of keeping me glued to my seat and I am so anxious to see book 3 "Say Forever" as soon as it is available.
This book should be read after reading "Say When"

Tara West does it again! I'm addicted to this series..
The continuing story of Christina and Andres *sigh* ohh definitely book boyfriend material!
Again the story is fast paced and full of wonderful details that make for a captivating read! The author grabs you and drags you in, completely engrossed with the characters, waiting to find out what's going to happen next!
If you love a story with romance, intrigue, suspense with just the right amount of steaminess they I'd say definitely give the something more series a read.

I was lucky enough to be one of the first to read this amazing book. Say Yes is the second book in the Something More series. The characters are brought to live again in this book as they find themselves in your everyday relationship problems. You will actually feel the love, heartbreak, joy and the need to slap a few of the less likable characters. But without those few unlikable ones, the story just wouldn't be the same. Can't wait for the next book.

A really good, quick read. I strongly suggest reading both book 1 & 2 in this series back to back. It was a lot of fun. Loved this storyline and can't wait for book 3.

I love this second book with Andres and Christina. They both deserve happiness but when the pressure of kids and marriage is too much for Christina their relationship is put through the test and they have to fight to see if their love for each other is enough.
Andres has a big family and the love he's received from them fuels him to have his own family one day. Christina on the other hand never knew that kind of family love. Her parents were horrible. They abused her emotionally and physically so how could she even think to bring a child into a world that allows children to suffer like that. She won't do it and that finality sets Andres over the edge. He thinks she doesn't want these things with him. He sees how much she loves her friends on so much so what's wrong with having his kids?
This book was heart wrenching. I cried so many times at the heartbreak and love shown in this book. Anyone who's lost someone dear to them can understand all that both Andres and Christina were feeling but can they work it all out? Can they talk through everything and make it through this huge tear in their relationship or will they let this break them apart?
Hopefully soon all my questions will be answered. What a great second book but I still want more..

These books just keep getting better and better! There was definitely stuff in this book I did NOT see coming!
Jackson's parents are fighting for custody of Tyler because his mother is unfit to care for him. Jackson uses Tyler to get in between Christina and Andrés.
Andrés wants to propose, but he is unsure if Christina is ready for that type of commitment so soon after they start dating (six months).
After he learns that Christina doesn't want any children, but loved Tyler, he breaks it off with her, not wanting to waste time on somebody that can't picture starting a family with him, which is understandable when one wants a family and the other doesn't.
Some events happen, but I don't want to give too much away (I already have). Trust me, this is a book you will want to read! Make sure you read the first installment, Say When, before you read this.

Wow, the ups and downs that Christina and Andres go through are intense. When they aren't stumbling blindly over how to make their relationship work they still have amazing chemistry. Their traumatic past’s still keep each of them from being truly ready to fully open up and commit to each other. I loved the scene with Christina’s mother at the country club, her mother deserved so much more than what she got. When she connected with her new family, it was great to see her start to have the relationships and love she’d grown up without. It is interesting to see how Andres deals with the obligation he feels to his Tio and the family business. Starting the next book now, I have to see how their story finishes!

Say Yes is the second book in the Say Anything series. Christina is in love with her boyfriend Andres (oh so hot!!!) but he wants a commitment of a future and that scares her since her background doesn't include a picture of what happiness and forever looks like. Plus they have been together only a few months with his family pressuring them for marriage and babies. The EX loser and her mom the cobra are still messing with her head and trying to pull her back into the old life. They go through ups and downs but their love is a powerful one. This is a MUST READ!! Tara's work is just amazing.

I liked this book a lot. Happy to have a continuation of Christina and Andres's story. I kinda feel like a lot of bad things happen to Christina, constantly. She deserved a break, for sure. How much bad shouldd one person have to go through? But, she does get all her happy by the end of the book. She finds her family and is with her boyfriend. At the end, though, looks like she may not totally be out of the woods, things will progress much quicker than she intends. Looking forward to reading the next book.

I think that Christina and Andres shouldn't have spent time apart and with maturity they'll understand each other and try to work out their problems. Hopefully, in the third book Jackson will get it through his head that Christina is not going to reunite with him. All in all the book is worth buying and now on to the next book!

Tara West has done it again. Say Yes was an awesome book that I finished within a couple of hours and could not put down.
The story kept me entertained throughout, I have fallen in love with the characters and cannot get enough of them, and it moved along at the perfect pace, not to slow and not to fast.
This is an author that everyone should experience.

Understanding why things have been the way they have been all your life can come as a shock when out of the blue the truth finally comes out. This book is all about the surprise and shocks that happen when lies are no longer hidden. While Say when gives us an idea of the lives of Andreas and Christina's start of their relationship, Say Yes gives us some of their struggles.

this story stars out with a bang! loved the opening!! I really loved to see Christian's character develop. The many issues she has to deal with in her life makes me really feel for her. The emotion that is in the writing is fantastic!

Enjoyed all the little twists in this. Jackson needed to take a breather and back off and Christina's mom was just...I don't understand how there are parents like her out there. Seriously. Say Yes leaves off on a small cliffhanger that could possibly become so much bigger.
