A fantastic aggregate of interviews collected from Roy Christopher's own web site (now simply We don't just hear from scientists, writers, musicians, artists, technologists, and culture watchdogs, but rather people who span multiple classifications. That's what makes these interviewees really fascinating.

There is a lot to love about Follow for Now, a collection of forty-three selected Q & A’s from the archives of Here’s one: Most of the interviews are well under 2000 words, which keeps the pages turning at a quick clip. And here’s another: In the first half of the book, the well-known and obscure interviewees deliver lucid, fascinating answers (and pose further questions) about the state of technology, biology, consumer psychology, and all the intersections among them.

This book is mostly a collection of interviews with various people the author finds inspiring. I thought it was mostly a mixed bag. Particularly compared with other similar books, these interviews weren't as adept at allowing one to understand the interviewees' work without prior knowledge, nor were they as pointed towards finding out why the interviewees were so fascinated by what they worked on. lots of fascinating (and bite-sized) interviews with the technorati class. since many of these come from the turn of the century, the collection is becoming more and more a part of the historical record rather than prognostications about the future.
