This is a very basic story about a young boy who is eager to play in the snow. While the narrative is far too simple to keep our girls entertained, they could empathize with his plight, since we've seen very little snow since we moved to Virginia just over 3 years ago. I chose not to read it aloud with them, but I think they would've appreciated the sentiment. I would recommend it for early readers.
