Living Purely in an Impure World

Rate this book
In the typical church you will seldom hear any mention of the "s" word, you will rarely hear any preaching against sexual sin except homosexuality, and it is rare to hear that sex is a gift of God to be enjoyed. From this mysterious silence, you could easily conclude that immorality is not a problem for Christians when in fact it is the unspoken sin of the church. This book is meant to be a primer to point you in the right direction to enjoy moral purity and spiritual victory.

This was an excellent book. I would recommend this to any man who wants to get the right mindset about pure Christian living. In other words every man should read this book. This book wasn’t simply a list of do’s and don’ts. Binney writes from the heart of a pastor and is so helpful and clear.
This book does an excellent job reminding of the truth of God’s Word, the lies of the very active devil, and the actionable steps to take. I believe this could be an excellent book to be used in counseling.

In my opinion this book gives the best counsel that can possibly be given to those struggling with the sin of lust. It handles the issue in a very discreet way calling sin sin and giving Biblical answers for how to defeat it. Just about everyone knows that lust is sin if they are honest with themselves; however, very few know what to do about it after they are addicted to it. This book doesn't just restate the problem and emphasize its magnitude. This book gives answers.

Great book. To live purely in an impure world you need to have a solid, growing relationship with God. If not, you are controlled by your passions looking for intimacy in the wrong places.

Great book on purity. Great principles to apply and to teach to young (and old) men.
