I wish everyone would read this book. There is so much valuable information in here for understanding those who suffer from this preventable condition and the families who raise them. Perhaps if everyone read this, there would be less children exposed to harmful alcohol and drugs. The choice to partake of these substances has the potential to do so much harm to others besides oneself.

For those who are raising children who have been exposed to alcohol and drugs while in utero, this is an amazing book with some great insights and suggestions for raising up these children to be the best they can be. A very inspiring book, filled with hope, understanding, validation, great suggestions and the plain truth and facts about the effects of alcohol and drugs. It is simply put. More in depth information can be found in Jodee Kulp's book "Our FAScinating Journey: Keys to Brain Potential Along the Path of Prental Brain Injury". Also recommended, though I have not read it all. I appreciated their reliance on God for answers and the faith that they moved forward with. Sharing their story here took great courage.

And for those who live each day with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome-Effects, you will be inspired and given hope and understanding and find peace in who you are and in being the best that you can be.

Thank you Jodee and Liz for sharing your story.
