Emma, who is half human and half Syrena, and her Syrena love, Galen, need time together. Alone. Away from the kingdoms of Poseidon and Triton. Emma’s grandfather, the Poseidon king, suggests the two visit a small town called Neptune.

Neptune is home to both Syrena and Half-Breeds alike. But Emma and Galen didn’t sign up to be peacemakers between the ocean-living Syrena and

Wait there's a third book? Doesn't the second one end with a nice, clean resolution? Why?

What I'm assuming my (as well as some others) reaction was when finding out that there was a 3rd book:
description

Not to hate on Anna or the series, but I can't imagine much of a good storyline to go off on with Book 2's ending. I suppose the Epilogue ended with a small opening of a possible 3rd book, but I don't know what other problem Emma and Galen could possibly deal with that may be life threatening (except the exposure of Syrena or something about Jagen since technically it wasn't completely resolved/

A great conclusion to a fun series!

To be honest, I was surprised when I heard there was going to be a third book in this series. Personally I thought book two had wrapped up the series fairly well. Boy was I mistaken. This book wrapped up any remaining plot holes from the first two books, and

I love how the majority of people say, "I LOVED OF TRITON!!!" Yet they have no faith in the author that brought them the first two books. Can't we just wait to see how "Of Neptune" is when it comes out and until then give Anna Banks the benefit of the doubt? Then if it sucks, let her and the rest of the world know? It like saying you don't like Mexican food when you've never had it. Or better yet, when you've had it twice and enjoyed it, yet you're skeptical of eating it for the third time at th ...more

Of Neptune was an unnecessary book. I hate love triangles and definitely did not like it in this book.

Of Neptune is the third and last book of The Syrena Legacy series. Thank god. Okay, so this book follows Emma and Galen's relationship. Yes, they are still in love but for some weird reason a love triangle forms in this book. Again, I hate love triangles and definitely felt like this one was ridiculous. Emma is and was a bad ass in this book. I definitely liked her a lot better in this book tha

This book was not necessary. It should have been a duology. I would have been PERFECTLY happy with just that.

Not every YA series needs to be a trilogy. Duology is just as good! 4 books, 5 books, 6 books. It doesn't matter. What authors need to figure out is which number of books best suits their storyline. I feel like authors these days feel that 3 books is the amount that they need to produce. It kills me because it hurts some series. Like The Syrena Legacy series. I have a fondness for the ser

Decided to give this a chance though. 4 stars for Galen's chapters, 1 star for Emma's.

Can't seem to get into it. I'm going to think that this series only have 2 books.

I'm guessing there's another breed/ group of syrena (Neptune). They will attack the Poseidon snd Triton community and Emma's gift will be useful at last. She may use her gift to order the sharks/whales to defend their territory.

Then she will be mated to Galen! Then they will have amazing fingerlings with amazing superpowers to save

I hate to say it, but this was the worse book of the trilogy. If I'm being completely honest, there were several times last night I considered DNFing this book. The first two books were frustrating or unbelievable, but I couldn't make myself put them down. They were quick reads because even though they could make me groan out loud at times, the story and mythology and characters were still interesting, and the writing was really fast pace and ea

This is the "tale" of Emma, a high school senior, who learns that she is half Syrena (it's a mermaid/merman, but don't say that to their face) after meeting Galen, a gorgeous Syrena prince, who is allowed to visit land in order to study humans. Emma literally bumped into Galen on a beach in Florida where she and her best friend were v

I was slightly disappointed with this book. I honestly thought the story could have ended with Of Triton. I felt that this book created its own problems and then solved them without adding much to the story.
However, I did love how it ended and it was great to read an epilogue for Emma and Galen. Their relationship was one of the things I LOVED in Of Poseidon, and I was a little aggravated with what went on in this book regarding their relationship. Emma also frustrated me!
I do love this wo

Loved it! At first I forgot everything but I quickly remembered and I enjoyed the story very much. Reed annoyed the majority of the book. Galen had always been the one for me-although he is a tad too much protective. Both Emma and Galen annoyed me so much. They were both selfish and just...ugh! But I got the reasons why they both were. I hated how the story kept bouncing back and forth between G

Hi book.
I do not believe you needed to exist. Galen and Emma were happy. You did not need to add the conflict of a love triangle. I don't appreciate all the relationship drama - there's a point when it gets to be too much for me.
But, you are entertaining enough. The best part was the grandfather. He's a great character.
If I do reread this series again, I'll probably only read the first two books.

I promised to update so here I am. There are so many things to talk about this book, but I don't want to spoil anything. I'll just leave a general review here.

Pros:
Just as the first and the second book, I love the characters. I'm so overwhelmed to see how they dealt with each other, especially when they argue. They know how to solve them in their matured relationship way of arguing. Hahaha. I also love the writing and the plot where most of them as I have expected it gonna happen - not actually

On a scale of 'this book sucked' to 'this was the best book i've ever read' this book falls about on 'why the hell was this even written.'
Book one was amazing. Book 2 was okay, not great, not really needed, but fine. Had a solid ending and could have been a duology.
Not a single word of this book was necessary. Not one.
Reasons you ask?
Well for starters, the author thought it would be a GREAT idea to add a love triangle in the last book of a trilogy. Not the first book, not the second book, no, t

Ah, I love happy endings. More importantly, I love this happy ending because Emma and Galen are one of my favorite fiction couples to date!
I do wish that this book focused more of Emma and Galen together (they were seperated for majority of the book) but the ending helped me look past it. I must say I am a little disappointed that this is the final book in the series, I would to see how Emma and Galen's relationship develop during marriage. I would also love to have seen more of the relationshi

Jenny (Jen & Mel's Book Nook)
Of this trilogy, I think I may have ended up enjoying this book the most. Quite surprising and unexpected considering the introduction of a character whose death I wished for repeatedly.

I will say that the plot of this book was the strongest out of all three books. It was the one I found most interesting and had me wanting to just keep reading because I needed to know how things were going to end. There was more of a mystery element to this book and some quite shocking plot twists that tied in
