Like the rest of the series, I have listened to it on Audiobook. Erik takes us back to visit Asgard, 10 years after it has transitioned to Earth. A new sister joins the sisters, a new romance blooms, and an invasion must be stopped.
4.5 star ratings This seems even better than its predecessor. Introducing an enemy into the fold as well as the near deaths made this story captivating and amusing in some ways. Still a PG story but at least we get more kisses. Look forward to what's next
This series keeps getting better and better! I love the different take on Norse mythology. The characters are great and the narration by Hollie Jackson is superb! Looking forward to the rest of the series!
Another AMAZING book! Full of action from beginning to end; I love that this book fills in some of the back story of the previous book. We get to see more of Asgard, which I LOVED!! I loved the addition of Ina; I was a bit skeptical at first, but I ended up feeling compassion for her! Arina is the perfect compliment to her and is the essence of Asgard and makes an amazing Valkyrie! It is fitting that she doesn't form a weapon but an impenetrable shield.
I love these books! They are the perfect balance of action, romance, and humor!
Solid follow-up to the the first book. Once again Holly Jackson does a good job reading the story. The story was shorter than the first one and quite enjoyable. The relationships that develop between the character are fun to watch unfold. I enjoy the strong female characters. I am glad he does not dwell on the sex and keeps it all light and flirtatious.
Just Like the First book of the series, I really liked this story. I love the to lead Valkyrie, the plot twists in this one are interesting. It has a unique twist on lore, and the way it is remembered.
This is an enjoyable book, but only because it questions the good and evil nature of the 2 opposite races. Everything else is lack luster. The battles aren't as epic, the romance is barely there, the character development is barely visible. I have also finished the 3rd book and it's even worse. I suggest anyone who likes the first book to stop following the series entirely. You won't find what you like about the 1st book in subsequent books.
