Jade Jones discovered her passion for creative writing in elementary school. Born in 1989, she began writing short stories and poetry as an outlet. Later on, as a teen, she led a troubled life which later resulted in her becoming a ward of the court. Jade fell in love with the art and used storytelling as a means of venting during her tumultuous times.
Aging out of the system two years later, she was thrust into the dismal world of homelessness. Desperate, and with limited income, Jade began dancing full time at the tender age of eighteen. It wasn't until Fall of 2008 when she finally caught her break after being accepted into Cleveland State University. There, Jade lived on campus and majored in Film and Television. Now, six years later, she flourishes from her childhood dream of becoming a bestselling author. Since then she has written the best-selling "Cameron" series.
Quite suitably, she uses her life's experiences to create captivating characters and story lines. Jade currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. With no children, she spends her leisure shopping and traveling. She says that seeing new faces, meeting new people, and experiencing diverse cultures fuels her creativity. The stories are generated in her heart, the craft is practiced in her mind, and she expresses her passion through ink.

"Cameron 4" by Jade Jones was the fourth in a series of the Cameron series and it was indeed up there with all of the others...great writing by this author. This series had me on the edge of my seat only turning the pages all the way till the very end...and then I see we are left hanging. Go job Ms. Jones!
In this series you will find yourself on a 'emotional roller coaster ride' that doesn't let up ... even to be found in the very end of this read for these two characters Cameron and Jude. This read is told by a great story teller that knows how to keep her readers attention that will only leave you wanting more. Be ready for a fast moving episode that will keep you awake and only wanting more as some of the characters from the other series that do come back into play along with a few new ones.
Definitely from the ending we learn...well, I will let you read Cameron 4 for yourself to see when will this drama end for Cameron and Jude? When will these two 'catch a break and be truly happy?' Will Cameron see she has a wonderful husband and truly grow up? Well, I guess we will have to see what happens next the sequel Cameron 5. Ms. Jones we leave it in your hands...for another good read. I will be waiting!
Jade Jones is a great story teller. I loved the way she described and mention some of the popular areas of the city, as well as clothing designers and cars. She painted a vivid picture of the life of the characters. There a few grammatical errors, such as mixing up pronounce like "his" when it should of been " hers", but this didn't deterred me from the great story. I enjoyed the Cameron series thus far, and it seems like their will be a part 5.
I could have beat Can butt for the way she acted in this book! Jude was no better but at least he had good intentions. I hope the next book they can finally be happy and drama free.
Ok, it lived up to both of its predecessors. This might be the best book in the series, after the first one. It stuck to the overall theme, introduced new characters who were just as flaw, dangerous, and twisted as characters from book 2 and book 3, but they had more depth and range. On book two, I complained about the repetition. I felt like Tiffany was just another Pocahontas, and I on book 3 I felt Ki Ki to be just as Pocahontas and Tiffany combined. But book 4 separated itself from these shortcomings. It made sure that it stand out. Maybe the change of location rubbed off on all of these characters.
Ok, Jude and Cameron are back together after they had broken when Jude went to jail, and Cameron started seeing Marcus. Marcus was a friend of Cameron's now deceased boyfriend, whom she loved very much, although he abused her time and time again, Silk. She was still sceptical about dating Marcus, but after the change in Jude after he went to prison, locking himself away from him by not allowing to see her, she fell right into Marcus's arms. You have to read the book to find out for yourself what happened.
Looking for a fresh start, they move to Atlanta. Jude gets in touch with his cousin Aso, and he he connects him with one hotshot boss called King. King is invoked in car theft ring that is bin in Atlanta. Jude keeps this away from Cameron because he knows how she would feel about it, taking into account what happened into their relationship before because of crime. But he has to do it. On Cameron's side, she makes friend with this girl called Rumour in the building they just moved into, she and Jude. At first, Rumour is nice. She introduced her to the local strip clubs, and encourages Cameron to come out of recovery. Cameron is like, "fuck it!" And gets back to the job.
King turns out to be a cruel motherf***r who doesn't tolerate resignation from his company. Rumour also has her skeletons in her closet, or should I say garage? Lol! Aso is jealous of Jude. And, what's worse, some things, turns out, can't be left behind. They follow you wherever you go, and, in this case, it is not things, it is some people. It's murder, betrayal, sex, drugs, pole, cash, flash and bling, and tears. It's all mixed in to give you CAMERON 4.
I guess at this stage I have to make peace with the fact that Cameron is stupid. Yes, I said it. Cameron is stupid. She doesn't learn. When would she keep an eye on people around her? When would she learn that people around her are dangerous? First it was Poca, then Tiffany, then Ki Ki, now it is—you know what? I can't even say her name. Cameron is infuriating. Sometimes I just think she deserves what happens in her life. But this time, I would give her the benefit of the doubts. The change of location was overwhelming. She just needed someone to lean on and who could guide her. And it is a human flaw to lose sight of what is real and important in our lives, and we shouldn't judge ourselves based on that.
I love the maturity Jude. He was a loving man, who was determined to show off his affection to Cameron, even in his flawed way. He had her best interest at heart.
The book was littered with errors, just like the other books before it. So that's why I knocked one star. The shooting and violence were starting to get tedious. Characters were quickly killed before I could get to know them in deep intimate level. So I just furrowed my eyebrows when they died. Most times I just knew from when they were firstly introduced that their job here will be to die. I didn't expect much from them anyway. Their deaths weren't that surprise.
The backstory of Rumour was all over the place. Especially learning the secret she was keeping in her garage, I thought it would play more part in affecting Cameron, or at least her relationship with Jude—as first that's how she came across when she always took Cameron away from Jude and her baby. But in the middle, her story for discarded, and how they wrapped it up, was unbelievable, although the author tried to make it believable. I expected more. Aso also had potential, but he was one character switching like weather. Sometimes I forgot that he existed, sometimes I remembered him. He was just one guy who was allo my face.
I was shock about how everything ended Cameron can't catch a break for nothing hopefully she can soon because I haven't met anyone as strong as Cameron. What Aso did to Cameron was straight bs but he paid the price with his life. Ericka is a loose cannon she going to see a new Jude let's just pray she is ready for the beast to unleash
This couple just can't catch a break. That crazy ex is back and we all know how thats gonna end. I hope Cameron get some fight in her and take her life. I like Jude for Cam.
What in the world! I was turned off the moment I saw how many books were in the series. However, I was curious to know, totally 😞. The book should have ended at the one b4 this or part 4 🙅. Why repeat the cycle of distrust, abuse, and deception. Waste of time😏.
I have to say this book is pages turning it's so much I want say but no spoiler alerts from me lol, so to from me if haven't read the series you should get get deeper as it goes have fun... I am
This is on the list of my favorite sagas...I'm still needing another book, Cameron came a long way from book 1 hopefully there will be more stories to come.
I hope Jude don't go to jail and I can't wait till they take care of that Erica girl. Please let them get it together. Can't wait to read what's going to happen next
This series is getting crazier with each book. There's a definite change in both Cam and Jude. Cam wanted a normal life and Jude just wanted to be the provider he used to be. They relocated because Jude's cousin offered him a job, albeit illegal, that would get Jude and Cam back on their feet. Jude refused to tell Cam what he did because he knew she'd disapprove. He spent more and more time away from home. Cam felt neglected and found herself getting mixed up with the wrong crowd again and put in horrible situations. I will admit that in this book, I got a little fed up with Cam. She constantly felt that going back to stripping would make money, but in every damn book she got raped doing after parties. I was so insensitive to her rapes that I was like, "Really? Again?" How stupid can one person be? After the first time, she should have quit stripping all together or bought a gun, a taser, a knife or pepper spray or something. She seemed to also pick the same best friend in each book also. The friend was a whore who talked her into stripping again to make fast money and encouraged her to sleep with other men and the friend usual had some type of mental issue, was a druggie or murderer! Hopefully there will be some sane characters in the next book
So I almost made it to the end of book 4 before completely throwing in the towel on this series. Like I said in my review for book 2...... Jeeze! This is one dumb girl. I tried to be more objective. I mean I get it, this is the story of a young lady growing into womanhood. She's supposed to have trials and tribulations. She's supposed to have growing pains. But damn... the key word is "Grow." When is she supposed to actually start learning from her own stupidity? How often does one be a follower before they learn to march to the beat of their own drum and LEAD the pack? Maybe I'm not being optimistic enough. Am I asking too much of this story line to have expected Cam to do and be better after four freaking books? WHERE IS THE GROWTH?
In my best Randy Jackson voice, 'This is a definite no for me dawg.'
I'm not saying this is my last Jade Jones novel. I'm definitely going to give her another shot. I'm simply over this particular series and the repetitive storyline within each installment!
I enjoyed reading Cameron 4. Jade Jones did a good job. I like the concept and vibe. It's dealing with a lot of emotional, physical, mental and many more, This is my sixth book reading from Jade Jones. Each of characters in this had their own problems. I felt bad what's happen to Cameron but she is acting a dumb shit. Rumor is something else but I felt bad for her because her man cheating on her with her sister and give her HIVs. Aso is a bad new to Cameron and Jude. Ericka is a crazy and terrible girl.
So far, Cameron 4 is a good book to read. It's starting from Cameron 1 to 3. I recommend everyone to read Cameron 4 by Jade Jones because it is really good and I'm promised that you will not disappointed. I give the author and this book five stars. I'm looking forward reading another book from this author.
So, I think that with each book I'm loving Jade Jones more and more! I mean I feel like I am in for a ride with the way she describes the characters and who they are/where they're from down to what they are wearing.
Oh Cameron so disappointed with how she let Rumor manipulate her into thinking that rolling with O'Zone was what she should do instead of riding for Jude all the way through. However, I am glad that she snapped out of that drug/stripper life quick because she was going down pretty fast. Thank God it wasn't over for them after Jude found out she cheated on him, and that they still got married. Ugh, Aso was definitely on some foul shit when he started hating on Jude and what he did to Cam was gross forreal. But he messed with the wrong chick! Anyway with Aso out of the picture gotta see how things play out ..on to book 5 =)
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I was beginning to think that Cameron didn't want happiness, but then I realized that she's young, and she really grew up fast. She finally came to the realization of what was important. Jude is a really good man, but he had put his family's life in dangerous. Yes he was only doing what he felt to provide for his family, but it was far more than what he bargained for. I hated Aso. ...he ended up getting exactly what he deserved, now Ericka needs to die. ...that bitch needs to get a clue. I despise King, and I hate that he was behind what happened to Cameron....he definitely could've handled Jude better, considering how close they were. I hope that Jude give him a gruesome death. 2 more books are ahead, and I know that more drama is soon to follow. I can't begin to imagine what is coming.
In Cameron 4 I couldn't believe all that she had to endure. It is like a never ending story and it makes it hard to put the book down. I like the way that Jade Jones writes the story of Cameron because you never know what to expect. I will definitely recommend this book to my friends. I can't wait to see what is in store for Cameron in book 5. Keep up the good work Jade. Awesome book.
I've enjoyed this series so far. With this book Cameron was just frustrating and so we're all the lies Jude told. How can you expect honesty when you don't give it. After seeing how the lives of Pocahontas and Tiffany ended I don't know how Cameron could put herself in the same situation. It was so frustrating to to see her doing the same exact thing that she would look down on others for. I just couldn't understand the logic behind it at all. This was still a good read full of all kinds of drama, lies, secrets, and betrayal.
Y’all know I’m a Jade Jones fan. I got a lot of her books from being in her group but she is one of the authors that I’d use my Amazon credit on anytime and I have.
I listened to the Cameron Series books 1-8 on Audible. I really enjoyed watching Cameron and Jude amongst other characters in the book grow from teenager to adults with kids of their own.
Like any other relationship they went through up’s and downs. Illegal business, strip clubs, murder, side chicks, backstabbing, jealous friends and more. If you’re a lover of urban fiction this is a ride you might want to take.
I honestly don't think that I've read a book by Jade Jones that's left me disappointed. I wasn't expecting a part 4 for Cameron but you won't hear me complain. Cameron and Jude move to Atlanta and it seems all hell breaks loose. Just when I though Cameron had matured and stop letting others have such an influence on her I get a reality check. Love Jude everything about him I love. This is a must read you will not be disappointed
Jade Jones never disappoints when she pens a story. She makes Cameron and Jude's relationship seem so real. Almost like a movie. There is always so much action going on. There's some life changing stuff that went down in part 4. I have to move on to part five to see how it all comes together or falls apart! Great story, Jade!
OMG I'm speechless at what I learned in this book. I know Jude loves his family but he's putting them in harms way and not thinking right all because he wants to make a come up. Cameron took me by surprise at how she was neglecting her son by running around with Rumor and believe me Rumor is a nut case waiting to happen I LOVE IT.......
My favorite couple make a move to Atlanta, Georgia to make a new start. Well you may think Cleveland was full of drama, but so is GA. Jude works with his cousin Aso who steals high priced vehicles to countries overseas. My girl Cameron goes back to stripping. It seems they both still have a lot to learn about life..
Cameron was very naive and reckless in this book as well as Jude. It just goes to show how young they really are. They're just youngins trying to be adults. I admire Jude's character a lot though and I hope for the best for their lil family.
