Make Me Yours Evermore

Taking what you want may come at a terrifying price.

Chris calls his darkest, nastiest fantasy into the light of day when he has to kidnap Kat to save a friend. For years, he’s wanted to bring her to her knees.

But claiming her draws attention. Andreas wants to save Kat, until he sees her response to raw male dominance.

More dangerous are the human traffickers, who regard the acquisition and selling of women as a very high stakes business. And they're watching. Everything.

Death. The perversion of love. The loss of freedom.
Sometimes there is no choice.

Capture fantasy; dubious consent; anal play; strap-on; M/f/M and f/f scenes; BDSM themes including caning, spanking, bondage, and piercing, as well as some upside-down naughtiness.

Also contains one Dom gone bad who believes obsession means never having to say you're sorry.

Oh my lord I believe I may have fallen down a dark, dark rabbit hole straight into a very depraved Wonderland.

I enjoyed Take Me Break Me and Bind and Keep Me, in which both Kat and Chris have fairly minor roles. Book 2 in particular had some darker aspects, though the situation in that book happened more by accident than design. However Make Me Yours Evermore totally bypasses ANY sense of morality and dives straight in at the dark end. This book can be read stand alone.

I'm pleased I took a break between reading books 2 and 3, because my love for Klaus and Jodie might have altered my perception of this one. I might not have disapproved of Chris quite so much and found as much empathy for Kat. Chris uses the flimsiest of excuses, or at least fairly convenient circumstances, to take do something very, very bad. Only you know what they say about the best laid plans...

There might be those who find Kat too much, maybe too bitchy and belligerent (I'm always surprised by that - as though an alpha male is so wonderful a woman should be perfect at all times around him). I really, really liked her. To me her actions were those of a strong woman, determined to not be broken by the situation she finds herself in. I loved how she, along with Andreas, had more effect on Chris than he did on her.

I've felt recently like I'm suffering from dark-lag, no longer seeing the depravity and horror that others did. Well hot diggity dang, in this one I felt every single moment of the corrupt degeneracy of morals and the total lack of compassion or humanity demonstrated by Chris. Was shocked by the immoral and debauched desires that he not only gave free rein to, but considered his by right. I cheered every single time Kat fought back, supported every rebellion, commiserated when her libido ruled her mind. Especially since her feisty attitude led to ever more inventive punishments and humiliations. Never was a book more NSFW than this one!

Added in to all the hot kink and general steamy smexiness was an intriguing plot and some very unexpected twists. I loved every word, page and paragraph of the book, it dragged me out of a reading slump, fizzing my brain and enervating my reading mojo. I can't wait to read the next one in the series.

The story gets darker in Make Me Yours,as Chris helps Klaus and Jodi keep Stephanie by taking Kat. To keep her quiet. It excites him to finally do what he wanted for so long....take a woman and make her his. But when his friend Andreas finds her in the back of his car,he needs to adjust his plans. Together they keep Kat on her toes, and under their thumbs in a place that has dark connections. A place Chris regrets going to now. Because of who it belongs to.....Will this trio find a way to stay together,to survive trouble coming their way? I love how this series gets darker as i go further down the rabbithole. And the connection between the stories.....friends helping friends, sadists enjoying themselves in the situation they’re in. And the subs reluctantly, hesitantly, giving in and finding their place at their Masters feet.

Oh, dark erotica. Why can't I quit you?
description
It's an addiction! Capture fantasies, non/dubious consent stories, I know I shouldn't like them as much as I do and that's why I love them! The things that happen in these books aren't moral or right. The heroes are not always nice guys. Women? Yeah we shouldn't be treated that way, but meh it's a book.
description
Let me get my literary freak on. Where else can you explore fantasies safely if not within the pages of a book, and the Pierced Hearts series is one of my favorites!

This is the third book in the series and while you don't have to read the previous two Take Me, Break Me and Bind and Keep Me it will help you know who the players are in this one. No, Klaus isn't in it. I know! It pains me too, but he is mentioned several times and every time I was like...
description

OK, Chris has kidnapped Kat and is planning on taking her somewhere secluded when who should jump in his ride but Andreas, his best friend. Andreas knows about Chris's lifestyle, but when he sees Kat tied up in a box he decides to go all boyscout and try and save her. Chris takes Andreas and Kat to a house he's borrowing from a "friend" in the Daintree forest.
description

Reading a Cari Silverwood book is like taking a mini kinky vacation:) The house is beautiful and complete with a cage and rings everywhere to tie Kat up to. That's because the house is used for human trafficking.
description
Oh, didn't I mention that? Yeah turns out Chris's "friend" is a slave trade ring leader and it takes everything within Chris's power to keep all of them safe.
description

Now, I really thought I was going to like Andreas, but he was a little too goody goody for me. I know I know...
description
He kept telling Chris things like "What you're doing is crazy and wrong." "You need to let Kat go" "I'm not leaving you alone with her" "No sex"
description
I understand that Andreas needed to be the buffer between Kat and Chris's darker urges, but I really just wanted to get on with Chris being all yummy and sadistic.
description
Andreas does finally come over to the darkside for the cookies and when Chris goes all Enforcer Iceman on Kat? It is worth the wait!
description

This book y'all. This book.
description
That's how I felt after reading it and I don't even smoke! There were scenes that were scorching! Of course, I'm a sucker for a good chase scene that ends in the rain and a snake.
description
Also, I don't think i'll be able to look at cereal the same way again.
I'm very much looking forward to the next book and I hope there's more of Zoe. She tugged at my geeky heart:)
description
It was actually a LAN party for Zoe but I liked the gif too much not to use:) So, Cari *crackswhip* Get to writing!

August 18th - Re-read in anticipation for book 4
Seize me From Darkness

Review - Aug 2014
5+ kinky, dark, twisted, sexy stars

I very rarely do re-reads, but wanted to do a refresher before the forth book in this series, is released next month.

The first time I read this story, I took off half a star as I recall thinking the sex bogged down the middle of the story. Funny thing is I didn't notice that this time. I guess my kink limits have broadened.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this series.

Review - Dec 2013
4 1/2 big fat fantastically delicious f*%Kd up stars

My love for this series started when I read Take Me, Break Me; a story that made it to my favorite’s shelf, few do! At the end of that story I was introduced to Kat, during a deliciously naughty scene, which left me anxiously awaited the release of this story!

Did it live up to my expectation - HELL YES!!

It was all kinds of F*%k d up and wrong, but oh so right….did that even make sense!? Chris was all kinds of nasty but for some reason, the relationship between him and Kat seemed like it was ‘supposed’ to be, again it seemed so wrong but so right!

Add Chris’s best friend Andreas to the mix and what follows is a lot of dom/sub/slave scenes, breaking and training! Kat is a tough cookie and doesn’t break easily; she attempts to escape a couple of times but is re-captured and punished for her actions! I found the training and sex scenes extremely disturbing yet EXTREMELY arousing at the same time, yep F*%kd up!

The side story of human trafficking was very well done. It also bought about some extremely hot girl on girl action! My inner lesbian was purring ;)

As for the epilogue.....I think the author might just be a sadist herself ;)

I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review…short version, BRILLIANT I LOVED IT!

Well done Cari, bring on the next installment!

Oh, Holy Hotness!  I’ve been completely immersed in Cari Silverwood’s deliciously dark and wicked world all this week as I’ve been binge reading her Pierced Hearts series.  It’s almost like falling unsuspecting into Dante’s Inferno as every book takes a darker path than the last, rather like the Circles of Hell and I can tell by the blurb of book 4 that it gets darker still.  It’s something akin to a spectrum which starts out light grey and ends up jet black and we’re edging ever closer to pure black!  It’s definitely a must for all you dark erotica junkies and the upside down naughtiness mentioned in the blurb? Oh, boy -  I think I practically combusted when I read that scene – HOT does not even begin to describe it!! It’s definitely a case of boundaries pushed, lines crossed

We’ve met Chris and Kat before in the previous books.  Kat is a switch who loves to go all domme on female submissives and poses the most enticing challenge to male doms – none of them have ever been able to truly get her to fully submit.  Her extreme brattish behaviour and her list of limits have scared away more than a few very worthy doms.  No man has ever been strong enough to take her mind and Chris intends to change all that.  He relishes the challenge she poses and is desperate to get her to fully submit, body and soul.  The perfect opportunity and justification (as he sees it) presents itself when Kat snoops and poses a danger to Klaus and Jodie in the previous book.

Chris decides to take her away and force her to submit to him.  He has always wanted to take things a little further with Kat, enjoying the challenge she poses but the rules and etiquette of the BDSM world prevent him from fully unleashing the true sadist within so he abducts her, transports her cuffed and chained in a coffin like box to a remote house often used by sex slave traffickers where he can play without rules and reproach.  I did mention the dark, right?

Clearly, he believes he knows better than Kat what is good for her and what she needs but he’s definitely blurring the definitions of consent as he forces her over and over to take the pain he dishes out and to submit, however unwillingly to him.  He has a minor glitch in his plan as his very good friend, Andreas pretty much catches him in the act of abducting Kat.  Andreas has a far softer heart than Chris but is very loyal to him and wars with his conscience.  He’s incredibly turned on by what Chris is doing but, deep down, he knows it’s wrong.

Can I just say that this one very nearly melted by brand new Kindle – it is so incredibly hot.  How wrong is it that, as the books get darker, the consent gets more and more dubious  I am enjoying them more and more?  The hallmark of good dark erotica is to turn you on and yet frighten you, at least just a little and Cari Silverwood definitely managed to do this – I was really quite awestruck by Chris who, let’s face it, really had seemed to be a fairly well adjusted dominant and accountant in the previous book.  Lesson learned – no one is who they seem and everyone has a dark side waiting to be unleashed into the world!

Andreas and Chris combined to top Kat beautifully but they offered stark contrasts in their approach with Chris believing that bringing Kat fully under his dominion is enough whereas Andreas believe that Kat needs to be loved and cared for – they’re at opposite ends of that spectrum although I do believe that Andreas gets more than a little corrupted by Chris!  They did, however, learn from one another and there’s significant emotional growth for all three main characters by the end of the story.  Is the ending truly happy?  I’ll leave you to decide.  I was ultimately satisfied by it but this is dark erotica and I think being left feeling conflicted about your feelings for these books is definitely par for the course.

Another aspect of the story, a much darker aspect, is revealed towards the end and sets up book 4 like a dream and I am moving straight on to that one as soon as I hit publish on this review – can’t wait.  We’re headed for the jet black I mentioned earlier and the murky world of sex trafficking and I can’t freaking wait!

Cari Silverwood – I bow down to you and put you right up there with my favourite dark erotica authors.  I honestly can’t wait to see what your deliciously wicked imagination comes up with next.  I am all anticipation!!

*brain squirm*

Not for the timid.

This is the first time I've reviewed a dark erotica. I hate myself a little bit for liking this so much. This is not BDSM. Safe, sane, and consensual does not happen here. This is 100% twisted up, delicious, perversion. Chris kidnaps Kat, gets busted doing it by Andreas, Andreas tags along, and Chris and Andreas proceed to abuse, dominate, and basically own Kat. Chris is a sadist, and Kat is just shy of a pain slut. Andreas starts out as a softie, but gets darker as the book progresses.

Seeing Kat struggle through everything was mind numbing. And so hot. She is a strong, badass woman. And I feel so conflicted reading about her being turned into Chris and Andreas' slave. Fighting and running in the beginning to submitting and embracing at the end. It was a fantasy for me. Forced submission is just yummy when it's done right, and it is so done right.

Chris is a sadist. And, really, an ass. It takes him a long time, and a lot of prodding from Andreas, to come around to really being able to care for Kat. He gets there, so I'm good with it. He shows some real emotion inside his head, and that humanized him enough for me to be happy with him. Even when he gets to his more caring state, he is still a sadist, and he still relishes owning Kat.

Andreas is almost opposite Chris. He starts out wanting to love, coddle, and save Kat. It takes him some time, and a lot of prodding from Chris, to behave as if Kat is his slave. He goes from overly mushy and good to a sweetheart Dom with an edge. And eventually he admits he's kinky and gets to release his darker, harder desires. At the end, Andreas is about my dream Dom.

Zoe is kind of a question in my mind. I don't like how she only connects with Kat. And I don't like the idea of Kat owning Zoe, since Kat belongs to Chris and Andreas. But, I suspect, that shall just have to be worked out later. It just didn't feel resolved where Zoe was concerned.

The human trafficking, straight up, freaks me the hell out. While what Chris and Andreas did to Kat is wrong, real slavery is horrifying. I cannot come to terms with the fact that it was left unresolved and those other women could end up somewhere awful. I know that Chris and Andreas will protect and care for Kat and Zoe. While their free will has still be taken from them, there is something genuine and beautiful there too. The rest of the women…I don't like to think about.

This book is a hard, dark, sexy read. It is twisted and fucked up, and since I'm a little twisted and fucked up, I loved it. The heros are villains, the villains are monsters, and the kinky sex is steamy hot.

Taking what you want may come at a terrifying price.

Such true words. Not only for the characters in the book, but for the readers. Because as a reader you are taking what you want ...that tantalizing step toward the edge of darkness, not knowing where it's going to lead.

From the epilogue of Bind and Keep me, I've been waiting, rather impatiently, for the next installment. And from the very first page I knew that I wouldn't be disappointed. The book is by turns scary, thought-provoking, panty-wetting sexy and tender. I can't say enough about the story that the author weaves through the pages of this book. It's a mindf*&k of epic proportions.

We meet Andreas, Chris's best friend, who is both appalled and intrigued at Chris's actions. I have to admit, that there were times when I was worried that Andreas, the "nice" guy, would supplant Chris. Wouldn't you just like to know if that happens :) I did love watching his internal struggle at what he was doing. I loved it even more when he succumbed to the darkness. And boy, does he like a gag :)

Kat, oh Kat! By rights, I should be terrified for Kat, should feel her pain and her fright, so why can't I? Why do I want her to stop fighting Chris and Andreas? I mean, she's been kidnapped, shouldn't I want her to be free? I can only assume it's the writing and emotions the author stirs in the reader. Because the only reason I wanted Kat to be free was so I can take her place!

I can't help but think that I'm not supposed to like Chris as much as I do. He's dark, he's sadistic and his moral compass is pretty much broke and he's really sexy as hell. It's a testament to the author that she that she can write a character that is BAD but that you still want to win in the end. My concern for Chris, his future, his happiness, his feelings, is something I felt through the entire book.

Taking what you want may come at a terrifying price.

I can tell you that for me, taking what I want let to an amazing ride through the pages of the book and the price of wondering why exactly the thought of kidnapping and a forced relationship was so appealing to me.

If you're a fan of dark erotica or dub con/non con this is definitely a series for you. If you're a fan of well written, sexy, emotional, thought provoking stories, this may be for you too.

Another brilliant addition to the series by Ms. Silverwood. Can't wait where we head on this wild ride next!

Make Me Yours Evermore, the 3rd book in the Pierced Hearts trilogy, and the first that didn't star Klaus and Jodie.

This book was worth 4.5 delicious stars, I round down, so it gets 4 stars on Goodreads. Our heroine, Kat, has been with us in all 3 books, Domming Jodie in book 1, trying to save Stephanie in book 2, and getting captured herself in book 3. She has trouble submitting and is headstrong and sort of a brat.

Good news, Chris isn't going to put up with anything but her total capitulation, which he is determined to get, via pain, humiliation and bondage. Kat, of course, is not one to take it lying down, so she fights like a wildcat.

Andreas is Chris' friend, and he's come along for the ride, adding a 3rd for M/f/M fun. Andreas is a "nice guy" who finds out he's kinkier than he thought along the way.

Zoe is the last character we get to know, and she is saved from the bad situation she's in, and Kat turns her into her own little bitch.

The plot is fun, the characters are enjoyable, and the sex, as usual with Cari Silverwood, is smokin' hot.

This whole series has been excellent. I recommend it to everyone that isn't horrified by non-consentual situations, and capture/kidnapping.

At one point, Chris, a character in Make Me Yours Evermore, mentions brain bleach. By the end of the book, I was surreptitiously checking supermarket shelves for a bottle of the stuff.

Redemption? Remorse? Morality?

Phtt.

Love?

Wash your mouth out.

This book is about lust, desire, control and corruption. But, above all else, it’s about power. Held absolutely and resolutely over another human being. Consensual? No. But compelling and intoxicating, nonetheless.

description

I can’t recall a single time I’ve ‘enjoyed’ (not to be confused with ‘been impressed by’) a book featuring a core protagonist I was unable to like, empathise with, or warm to. But in this particular case, I did.

Chris is a sadist who’s been waiting for the perfect opportunity to cross the line. And he’s no paragon of virtue in other areas of his life, either. Andreas is a man with some naughty little fantasies who gets a taste of the forbidden and all too quickly strays from the path of righteousness. To my shame, I found myself coming to terms with these two men – one of whom was devoid of any redeeming qualities whatsoever and the other who, despite starting on slightly higher moral ground, very quickly succumbed to the allure of a body available to his every sexual whim. Why, you may ask, did I find these two men … acceptable (if that’s really the word) given my distaste for their actions? It’s simple, really. They were contrasted against a silo of darker, more infinitely abhorrent human beings. Well, that and they tapped into a Pandora’s Box of dark fantasies.

Being forced to submit.

Being humiliated.

Being made to crawl.

Surrendering yourself absolutely – whether you want to or not.

description

I should make very clear at this point there is a definite S/m thread running through Make Me Yours Evermore. However – and this is really important – I’d in no way class it as a BDSM book. It is not safe or sane. Nor is it risk aware or consensual. The best way I can describe it is as a darkly kinky head-screw that’s not afraid to dig around in the murkier parts of the human psyche and throw a bit of dirt. As with Take Me, Break Me and Bind and Keep Me, Make Me Yours Evermore takes the reader on an unapologetic journey to the dark side. What’s more, it coerces them into enjoying it. If you’re at all uncomfortable with letting your mind wander along darker paths in the name of erotic fantasy then this is – cue flashing warning lights, sirens, etc. – most definitely not the book for you. With each Pierced Hearts instalment, the stakes just seem to get higher and higher, the situations more edgy. And that’s saying something considering Take Me, Break Me kicked off with non-consensual play. Yep. Say ‘hello’ to organised crime, forced slavery, and human trafficking. David Cameron would no doubt – and please excuse the crudity – sh*t a brick if he read this.

description

Just in case it’s not clear from the rest of this review, the thought of any of the events in the Pierced Hearts series happening in real life flat out appals me. Kink without consent, murder, kidnapping; I am not for one nanosecond condoning any of these things outside of fiction. No way. But I’d be lying if I said the scenarios Cari Silverwood has dreamed up didn’t push my buttons in an erotic fantasy context. Despite my guilty feelings, I’ve been well and truly seduced by her dark little tales. Make Me Yours Evermore is no exception.

description

Next time, though? I’d like the characters’ emotional connections to be more … pronounced. Extreme. Because while the plotting, scene-setting and sex were excellent – I’m still recovering from the encounter in the forest between Kat, Andreas and Chris – I found myself yearning for a cataclysmic, no-holds-barred, sexual and emotional kick in the guts to really hammer this story home and cement the characters. Truthfully, I’m still not entirely sure where they stand with one another.

This story continues where Bind & Keep Me left off. Chris has thrown his hat in with Klaus agreeing to abduct Kat who was getting too close to discovering the truth about Steph.

Chris, A sadist Dom, has lusted over Kat for some time but her long list of hard limits has made it impossible for him to ever have a chance at wining her total submission. The game changes when Chris agrees to take a page out of Klaus's handbook. The difference is that unlike Klaus, Chris knows how to break Kat.

I begin my thoughts about this book with a warning: this is a dark erotica read that includes BDSM-sadism, dub-non consent, violence, and WILL be a trigger for human sex trade trafficking sensitive readers. It is written and intended to be enjoyed as a dark capture fantasy story so only those who can appreciate that should read this book.

How is it possible to enjoy a story that had dark overtones that included sex trade trafficking? That is the thought that frequently ran through my mind through most of this book. The previous two installments in this series featured solo relationships between individuals. This book crossed into sex trafficking. I should be standing on my podium denouncing this book and all it stands for. I should ... but I can't. Why? Because this is the kind of book that has elements of darkness, eroticism, and suspense that held me at the edge of my seat (squirming at times) experiencing Kat's journey through hell at Chris's hands never knowing how it would end yet with a romantic slant and purpose. So many possibilities. So evil of the author but masterful all the same. That I can appreciate and enjoy along with the twisted romance between the core characters as long as I kept the context that this was a fictional capture fantasy themed read.

The core characters. Chris' true colors come out revealing that he is an experienced sadist Dom. Being a voyeur via the pages of this book are as close as I'd ever want to get to Chris. Kat. Total beyotch extraordinaire. Is it bad of me to be happy she was about to receive what was coming to her? Yet. There was more to her than was revealed for sure. Throw in a few curve balls and twist & turns to this story and their relationship and I didn't know who was the good guy, who the bad. and who should land up with who and under what circumstances. Sound twisted? :D

The adult content. Readers will get their fill of BDSM in a variety of situations and themes that include m/f, m/f/m, and f/f play scenes that are graphic and intense. Not many authors can go to this degree of down and dirty written in a highly sensual erotic manner to the degree this author can which is one of the reasons I love her books. :D

I did want to mention that I would have given this book a 4.5 rating if that had been available. The reason is that I personally look for the plot of a story to have substance to compliment the erotica. In this book the story line flowed until the climatic suspense reveal stage. All of the loose ends were wrapped up in a quick efficient rushed manner where I would have appreciated savoring it. Just sayin.

Although 3rd in the series this book can be read as a standalone. It is very important to know and heed the warnings by the author about this book and theme. I've also included those warnings as well. Fans of dark erotica/BDSM who enjoy the capture fantasy premise will appreciate the suspense of the journey of Kat's submission.

Make me Yours Evermore , Pierced Hearts Book Three, Cari Silverwood
Review from Jeannie Zelos Book reviews.
Well, ages ago I recalled reading book one, couldn't really recall much about it, but although this is a series it seemed this was a standalone novel, and I do like dark erotica so...but though I enjoyed it its a difficult one to rate because such a lot of it made me feel really uncomfortable.
Most dark erotics I’ve read has some dubious consent scenes, things that need working out where it seems like consent isn't given but in fact it is, and a HEA. This one is far, far darker. It begins with Chris kidnapping Kat, taking her away to an island and “teaching” her to be his slave. Andreas ends up coming along, and he gets sucked in by the dark games too...
I just feel that the non consensual aspect, the kidnapping and the captivity all weren’t really what I want to read. I know its fiction, but I feel that it's still difficult to justify – if I like Chris and Andreas am I giving my approval to what they are doing? Frankly both of them seemed to me to have some severe problems that made them OK to think this capture and treatment of a person was acceptable.
Then there's the aspect of what happens after? Clearly Chris doesn’t intend to let Kat return to her old life – but how would they cover up her disappearance? How do they expect her to stay hidden – or do they? There's no answers given. The novel takes an even darker turn into human trafficking and slavery, and there's the balance of how is that really any different from what Chris and Andreas have done. Its a novel that poses a lot of questions for me, makes me think about what I find acceptable even in fiction. I'm happy to suspend belief in reality, it's fiction after all... but when a book poses as “real life” in the way its written, that it expects us to think this could be a real story, then I need to examine whether I feel what happens is acceptable.
Its very well written, that's part of my problem. I could see what’s happening so well...Everything I’ve read about BDSM focusses on Consent, whether its SSC or RACK, but here's that’s thrown out. Its seems to me Chris and Andreas – especially Andreas make excuses to convince themselves what they are doing is OK. Chris at least is more honest – he just says its what he wants, he saw the opportunity to act out his fantasy and that’s it.
For me its a step to far to enjoy. I can see that I'm in a minority as there are floods of five stars, but even in fiction I find I need to be comfortable with what's happening, and it wasn't the sex, the beatings, the captivity or anything that bothered me – just the consent issue. Is it right that if some accepts something, appears to enjoy it even then the fact they didn't consent doesn't matter? Serious questions for me and the answer personally is I feel consent is all. Without that its just plain wrong. I hadn't read book two, which suggests the kidnap was necessary to save a friend – I still feel nothing justifies what Chris did regardless of friendship. It's priced at £2.49 for 294 pages.
Stars: two. Very well written story, very realistic but just too dark with the non consent issue for me to enjoy.

This story revolves around Kat and Chris, which are two characters you meet in previous books within the series. To be honest, Kat wasn’t my favorite character previously, so I was sort of hesitant if I would like this book. I did enjoy it, but so far it’s my least favorite within the series.

I’ve written lengthy reviews for the other books, which I absolutely LOVED, so I will skip over my thoughts on the series as a whole. This one continues the same theme of master/slave, captivity, and kidnapping. It also features a second man named Andreas who becomes Kat’s second Dom. Having a V relationship (two Doms, one sub) was a new idea within this series and I thoroughly loved that. It makes for some very hot scenes throughout the book. It does have some interesting twists and a major subplot that is the focus towards the end of the book. Regarding the subplot, I enjoyed the dark and taboo subject but felt it overshadowed showing the relationship between Kat, Chris, and Andreas a bit.

This story is primarily non-consensual whereas the previous ones lean more toward dubious consent. If that does not appeal to you, do not read this book because you will be appalled at what Chris and Andreas do to Kat. Overall, I liked the book and look forward to reading the rest of the series.

Book 2: Bind and Keep Me → 4 Stars
Book 3: Make Me Yours Evermore → 4 Stars
Book 4: Seize me From Darkness → 4 Stars

After much impatient waiting I got my hands on Make Me Yours Evermore, Kat's story in the Pierced Hearts series. We first met Kat in Take Me, Break Me and she made an appearance in Bind & Keep Me. I immediately developed a severe book crush on Kat because of her spunk, fiery temper, and Domme tendencies.

"A timid, quiet, and fragile submissive meant nothing to me. Kat pulled me in like a wild lioness in the ring of the coliseum drew a gladiator." Chris

This novel begins after Kat has been kidnapped by Chris, a fellow kinkster, because she had discovered the truth about what happened in Bind & Keep Me. Chris proves to either be a terrible planner or has the worst luck when an old friend, Andreas stops by in the middle of the capture. Unluckily for Chris, Andreas is troubled by the situation yet won't go to the authorities. The two settle on a deal where Andreas would stay and be a part of the "consensual" kidnapping as Chris claimed.

"Water flowing over a woman's body was an orchestral composition played by heavenly powers. Or some sort of fancy shit like that." Andreas

Having unsuccessfully attempted to break Kat, Chris' luck begins to turn when a "gift" arrives at the door. Adding a new dynamic to the group proves to be just the icing into gaining Kat's submissiveness.
Taming a bratty switch turns out to be a task for two men and we see the dynamics of the trio changing constantly throughout the book. Although in a dark situation themes of loyalty, protection, and friendship are expressed in the writing. When the "safe" hideaway becomes a nesting point for newly captured slaves, Chris and Andreas may be in over their heads. With true danger lurking around the corner the suspense doesn't let up until the last page.

"She was truly my work of art in human flesh and mind. I'd never forget her mind. Getting inside there was as important to me as getting inside her pants." Chris

I found this book stresses the fine line between perversion and morality more than in the previous two books. Each of the characters undergo a spiritual and carnal learning into their true nature. Unforgiving and sadistic Chris may find he has soft spot- but don't get him a puppy yet! Andreas battles with ethical dilemmas as he constantly considers setting Kat free and mentally preps himself for every scene. Kat confronts demons of her past while never letting anyone snuff out her spirit. This book really makes you question your definition of right and wrong, consensual and carnal, and doing the right thing at any cost. My heart squeezed when Kat asked herself:

"Was I that bad a person that I wished her here with me rather than free?"

Beware: This novel ends with one wicked cliffhanger!! Book four please!

Okay, this is one I can't rate because, yeah, well, I edited this title. But yikes, Cari takes us deeper and darker than before. I love the way that she so successfully subverts my sense of right and wrong, and goes well beyond the boundaries of safe and consensual, and makes me enjoy the journey. Though this is part of a series, you don't have to read the books in consecutive order, and reading them as stand-alones won't harm your experience, I would suggest that as ideal. One story does follow on the other, and there is some character overlap, and you'll have a bit more of the background story (though it isn't entirely necessary). Cari treads that fine line of raw, brutal dominance vs. tender and loving beautifully. Not only that, but she keeps an underlying narrative in mind so this story has a sense of direction. If you're looking for something along the lines of dubcon BDSM erotica that will blow your mind, this is it.

It's really hard to rate this book I am still considering 5 stars.
I like Kat and at the start I really hated Chris, I was glad at the end that he actually had feelings for her and she was not only there to be broken.
Zoe has come along and Chris made sure Kat got what she wanted.
And thank god that Scrim had a deserving end.

The Pierced Heart Series has brought me to my knees, again. Cari Silverwood brought to life a atruegemawardfantasy that probably runs through ever man, kinky or not, at one time or another. She mixed in a woman’s worst fears and another man who isn’t sure how deep his fantasy’s run through him. Then, she makes you stop and wonder – how close is obsessiveness to love and can the line be crossed? Yes, Cari has us thinking with Make Me Yours Evermore.

Kat was never on my good side through “Take Me, Break Me” and “Bind And Keep Me”. I looked forward to the kidnapping and to see her brought down by Chris. I actually started reading it with a smile on my face thinking Kat was going to get her comeuppance. As the story unfolded and Kat’s story came out, I didn’t have a complete change of heart but I understood who she was and why she felt she had to protect Jodie and Melissa from Klaus. She won me over in the end when she finally realized the real reason’s behind Chris kidnapping her, even if Chris wouldn’t admit them to himself.

Chris, to me, was an open book. He didn’t want to give up his heart and kept insisting that he was “obsessed” with Kat and her reasons why she wouldn’t fully submit. I also felt sorry for him as Andreas was winning Kat over with his approach. His “I’m protecting Klaus” outlook was just him lying to himself. Until he realized that Andreas was getting to know Kat a whole lot more than him, that Kat was something more than a project to him and that protecting Klaus had nothing to do with it, he was never going to be truly happy with the whole scenario. But, having to kill someone to protect those around you will open your eyes to finally admitting that “love” was involved.

As for Andreas, well he had me baffled. I really wasn’t sure how he was going to react throughout the book. He betrayed Chris and was falling in love with Kat. My mind kept screaming “NO, NO, NO” as this was happening. I was resenting him being in the picture. There’s a part of me that still does, even though he proved his loyalty time and time again after his initial betrayal. I also give him Kudos for finally seeing that he did have a darker side – he may not be able to give Kat the pain that she needs, but he is more than happy to watch, learn and and make her happy.

There is a fourth player in this whole game that brought forth an interesting, if not gut-retching, story … human-trafficking. The characters brought out here were real sadists. Chris had his moments and truly enjoyed giving pain but would always follow it up with the pleasure that a true dominant gives. These people – pain was for pain, blood was for blood, fucking was for fucking. Nothing less – Nothing more. And in the end, one of them gets exactly what he deserves and another one … well, one hell of a cliff-hanger and I can’t wait to see how Cari gets Peiter out of his mess!

So, from the beginning of this fantasy to the end, I sat on the edge of my seat. Wondering where we were going … how we were going to get there … who would be waiting for us in the end. I knew, deep-down, that this was just totally wrong but that Cari would make it all right. She would make us “see the light” in all the darkness that surrounded the story; that love would eventually shine through. And, she didn’t disappoint, again. Even though I felt that “Bind and Keep Me” was a lot darker than “Make Me Yours Evermore”, it had it’s moments … piercings, sadism – you know, the usual from Ms. Silverwood. Please keep in mind that this is a “fantasy” a “story” … there is nothing in this series that any one of us would condone or probably allow to happen in real life. But, that’s the magic of writing and Cari Silverwood has a … bringing to life something that will probably never happen. We all have our book boyfriends. But do you really think that we’ll ever meet him – fall in love with him – have four orgasms inducing sex on the back of a motorcycle with him? Probably not!

~*~ 4.5 STARS ~*~

Be prepared to stretch your limit people. Make Me Yours Evermore, is book #3 in Cari Silverwood's Pierced Hearts Series and it's darker, more twisted, and even more fascinating than the ones before it. Lines are crossed in a big way, enough to make me turn away a couple of times while reading. But no matter how disturbing, how provocative or thought-provoking this might be, Cari always sucks me back in and makes me want something I never thought I would crave.

"I'm going to get into your head right there. Where you can never ever get me out."

Throughout this story, my mind was anywhere and everywhere. I liked a certain character, I didn't like a certain character, it just went back and forth. Chris is a sadist, one that has just been given free reign of another human being. He has wanted this power for so long, he will do anything to keep it. He will keep dark, dangerous secrets from his best mate in order to keep him on this path. Andreas was in some ways the opposite of Chris, but as the story flowed we get these glimpses of Andreas coming to terms with how he feels with this situation, he starts to give in to this sense of wrongness about everything.

"Maybe part of this was that I also found her disturbingly sexy all collared and leashed. That scared me."

I enjoyed coming back to Kat's POV. Reading her point of view was fascinating. Having something forced upon you, and finding pleasure in that instance and absolutely hating the fact that you are indeed finding pleasure, it just pulls out a whirlwind of emotions and just throws logic and understanding out the fucking window.

"Control. I wanted it. Didn't want to give it."

I knew before getting in to Make Me Yours Evermore, that I wasn't going to feel that romantic, beautifully erotic aspect. I knew it was going to be tough, gritty, kinky, and raw. The thing is, even knowing what you are going to get yourself into, you still will not be prepared with the level of intense S/m in the storyline. I know a lot of you who read my blog, know that I read my fair share of BDSM novels. This is NOT one of them. The scenes in this book are in no way consensual. I don't recommend reading this series if you are not prepared to go darker and deeper than you have ever had before. These stories stimulated by mind rather than my body. This did not satisfy the romance bookie in me at all, but I can't say there wasn't the aspect of LOVE at all in this book. There were times when Andreas showed bouts of love, even if the way he showed it was not conventional. There were also times when Chris felt a little jealousy with Kat and Andrea's connection, and sometimes jealousy can stem from love. Don't get me wrong, there is no seduction here, just pure unadulterated lust for power and dominance.

Overall, this was another great installment in Cari Silverwood's Pierced Hearts series. If you have read the first two books in the series, you have to know that Make Me Yours Evermore will not contain hearts, rainbows, and butterfly kisses. It contains hardcore, kinky, naughtiness. This author definitely stretches my limits as a reader, and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Damn! I really wanted to not like this. I have, morally, stupidly, swayed away from this specific genre, but in the heat of the moment I purchased Make Me Yours Evermore by Cari Silverwood. I curled up on my bed and thought I'll just read a chapter and if I don't like it, or if it's too hard core for me then I'll put it away. An hour later I was still frantically reading and furious when I was interrupted and couldn't continue the rest of the story in the one sitting.

Yes, the topic goes against anything women should stand for in this day and age, yet, at the same time, this book is erotically, deliciously enticing for that exact reason. It brings out a primal want and the scenes are so sexually tantalizing for all the wrong reasons. How, oh how, Cari can you take me on this journey when I resisted every page, and make me enjoy it to the last word? The only other person who has been able to knock me off my moral high horse and accept that I am delving into a world of not-everything-is-airy-fairy-sweet-and-wonderful fiction is George R. R. Martin.

Make Me Yours Evermore was a real mind-bender, in that Cari had a way of making me, the reader, feel, question and second-guess just as the characters did. The author has quite a skill in being able to include the reader as though the reader is, too, a part of the story. This book is well-written and offers great depictions of the settings and growth in the characters, alongside a fast-paced story line.

Well done!

At first i was pissed off because Andreas was just being a pain in the ass, even by my standards. He seemed to be in the way more than he was helping. Even though i loved the story it could have been way better without Andreas there because Chris would not have held back the way he did. He may have even broken Kat way earlier than he did.

The ending is what shocked me. It was all so unexpected. And honestly I thought Andreas was the traitor in question but apparently there was another there with a heart for a damsel.

Their story was amazing. Kat finally learning how to trust and submit after her terrible past. Her finding a special connection with Chris (the one with Andreas was expected) and giving him what he had always wanted from her. Chris learning that being a Dom and earning true submission takes more that being good at giving pain but being able to open up your own emotions. And by risking all to get Zoe for her … priceless.

This series is taking too long to out. I am ready for the next book. Pieter and Jazmine are going to be and interesting pair to read about. Or maybe we get to see more of Zoe and Kat. That would be fun.

I loved this book more than the last, but I must say I've loved the whole series. This book took me to places I've never been before, two men involved in the kidnap, both using Kat, then to have Kat fall for a woman...what a twist!, I've never read sex scenes between woman, never really considered it...but I found this hot.

I would recommend this read. I just thought that Chris would be a lot stronger than he turned out to be, hence 4 stars for me, but would be more like 4.5 if I could award it.

Warning: Capture fantasy; dubious consent; anal play; strap-on; M/f/M and f/f scenes; BDSM themes including caning, spanking, bondage, and piercing, as well as some upside-down naughtiness.

This warning comes at the bottom of the books description and...Yes it pretty much says it all. This book is not for all readers, and definitely not the faint of heart. So if you get offended by any of the listed elements-- PLEASE don't read it, because I don't want to hear your whiny reviews when the author warned you not to read it.

Make Me Yours Evermore is a hard core BDSM story with all of the elements listed and more. In the story, Chris has done scenes with Kat, but they have always been inhibited by her restrictions and limits. Chris turns his darkest, nastiest fantasy of dominating Kat and having her as his slave into reality the when he has to kidnap Kat to save a friend from prosecution. For years, he’s wanted to bring her to her knees, and he finally kidnaps her and makes her his slave. He unintentionally draws the attention of Andreas his close friend who wants to save Kat, until he sees her response to raw male dominance and gives into the temptation to become her Master also.

Along the way their are some really steamy MF, FF, MFM scenes that include the whole BDSM kitchen sink. No one can say that Cari Silverwood lacks imagination! Overall this was a well written story with lots of hot sexy scenes to keep you warm as you read. The plot is well written, and you won't guess the next part because Silverwood is great at throwing curves into the story. Chris is involved with human traffickers, who are watching everything the trio does and threaten to bring Kat and her Masters further into their world. This was my first book of the Pierced Hearts Trilogy and I have no doubt that the rest of the series is just as hot and thrilling. If your up for a little slap, tickle, kink and play this is definitely a must read for you!

I don't know if I could write this review without spoilers :D but yes, my dominant (I'm a lifestyle submissive) asked me what got into me that I initiated sex this morning and I told Him about this book; He grinned and thanked her. So having read the first 2 books, I was ready for chapters told from the different main characters' points of view and Cari did not disappoint in this book. I thoroughly enjoyed Kat, Chris, and Andreas; the things their personalities brought to their chapters fascinated me. The chapters in Chris and Andreas' POVs were great; Chris figuring out what he wanted as a dominant and how the kidnapping situation was different from that and Andreas figuring out what he could morally and mentally deal with. Kat's struggles were particularly sensitive to me, as pieces of her past where in her mind, as she even shared them with Andreas (it took longer with Chris); I felt such empathy for her. As Chris' illegal connections continued to cause more problems, I loved the tension and then the introduction of the trafficked woman Zoe. Kat's immediate reaction to Zoe added some great moments and some female/female interaction that I found wonderfully erotic among all the male/female; I'd missed the female/female interactions involving Kat from the 2nd book in this series. The climax of the book was amazing- I'll leave you to read it yourself :D. I also loved the epilogues in Zoe and Pieter's POVs. I can't wait for the next book!

Cari Silverwood can write some of the best dubcon I’ve ever read! Seriously made me wonder and fantasize and rethink my opinion on the genre. The story starts off where Bind and Keep Me left off, Kat being kidnapped by Chris which he did I order to protect a friend. Off he goes but someone tags along, his friend Andreas, who at first is going just make sure that Chris doesn’t go too far. Chris has to let him know what he intends to do and Andreas is intrigued.

Kat is feisty and bratty and will not willingly submit, but Chris has felt the power, the dominance over her. Andreas brings the tenderness, the loving side of the relationship.

Chris is determined to make her surrender willingly, lots of kinkiness ensues, pleasure is found…with a snake looking on even! Though the methods are disturbing on some level, it never felt that Kat was being harshly mistreated. Throw in some human trafficking and I was biting my nails towards the end of the story. Kat went through this amazing journey, at times I was amazed that Kat, who in the beginning struggled but then accepted what was dished out to her, as she learns to surrender. Yes it pushed my limits at times, but damn those sex scenes were arousing and I can’t wait for the next installment!

Holy fudgebucket how can a story that is oh so wrong feel so right. I was actually introduced to the dubcon genre by Cari’s first book in this series Take Me Break Me and even though she pushed the line a little more in Bind and Keep Me in this book that line was just blown to smithereens. This is a full out noncon book but dayum even with the consent being absent this is one sexy as hell book.

Kat is a sub that no Dom has been able to fully control and Chris has decided to take the choice away from her however while he was secreting her away against her will his best friend Andreas stumbles upon them. Andreas decides to go along with the couple to make sure Chris doesn’t go too far in his treatment of Kat but in the effort of protecting her he discover his inner kinky self and discovers a pleasure he never thought he would in having someone submit to him.

Take some serious corporal punishment throw in some sexy tender loving and a side story about human trafficking and you have one HOT amazing book called Make Me Your Evermore. I am anxiously awaiting and a little scared to see what will come out of Cari’s twisted mind next !!

Man oh man, this book was hardcore dark erotica. Well written story, well developed plot and characters, titillating (read: panty melting) non & dub consent BDSM and sex. It had everything a great non/dub con story should have – kidnapping, feisty heroine who fights back (and loses, of course, duh, cause that’s the point – the fantasy), amazing sex, and a lot of tension.

The level of dark in this book actually disturbed me a little, which is saying something. The villains disturbed me. I wanted to gift them all with a rusty nail embedded in their most sensitive parts. Getting in the holiday spirit – gifting is part of that, right? And the hero (Chris)…he gave me reason to want to gift him one of those too. Though, Chris and Andreas gave me plenty of reasons to fall for them as well. Mostly, I’ve fantasized about being kidnapped by them, then hung upside down… Just wait to read that scene.

I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a contemporary capture fantasy story with lots of one-handed reading opportunities, and a plot that will engage and disturb you.

This book terrified and captured me all at once. What a wicked and mind bending ride!

If you are like me and jump to see how it ends, you can't with these books because the end gives you no clue as you need to follow the story!!!!

Kat and Chris, both were in previous books but nothing from there relates to the now here in this book.

There are journeys, and yes, they are for all the characters, taking place here. Can Chris end up where he wants with Kat? He is confident, but then circumstances change, does he have to change? He is questioning his methods to try and determine what he needs to do to get where he knows he wants to end up

Kat is complex, we knew that, and it seems like she will never end up where Chris wants her to be, to us and her. She struggles all throughout against Chris, but is it Chris or herself?

We also have some new characters, one right off the top, but that is the beauty of the series, it never is quite what you expect, and that is why the ride is so complex, because the stories and characters are never simple, but you love it!!!

Make Me Yours Evermore is another delicious dark and twisted tale from Cari Silverwood. Once again she has written some phenomenal male characters who have fallen down the rabbit hole into a dark perverse world of kink while still managing to maintain some of their humanity. Chris, Andreas, and Kat once again feed that dark part of my being that craves reading about the most depraved and dehumanizing acts that can be forced on another human being. But below the surface of this dark side of kink, there's a wonderful story about lost souls coming together to form bonds with one another that all parties involved not only needed, but craved. This book is not only filled with deliciously dark kink, but several twists and turns that will leave you on your toes!

This book had me hooked from page one! I had a love/hate relationship with each of the characters. The book is dark, Kat is kidnapped by Chris and when his friend Andreas stumbles upon that fact, he goes with to make sure that Kat won’t get hurt. However, once there, events occur and he ends up helping to train Kat into being their slave. Will Kat find her way out of this mess and escape or will they learn to trust and find happiness with each other?
An exciting and very kinky read that had me up all night. It was fun to explore the dark side of each of these characters and see what happened when they acted on those fantasies. Looking forward to another in this series!
