This book is an interesting account of a man's journey into fulfilling his dreams and provides great insight into the wrestling business from a fresh and different perspective than your typical WWE linked autobiographies.

Much like Jimmy Valiant's book, you feel like Bobby is right there talking to you as you are reading along. He comes across as likable and believable. Something that I've noticed doesn't happen with a lot of other wrestling biographies.

His time in SMW was the most interesting s

The book is filled with priceless behind the scenes anecdotes that any pro wrestling fan will thoroughly enjoy. Smedley’s direct style brings us back into the action as if we were actually there with him: on the bus rides, in the locker rooms and even in the ring with him! His description of the “wrestling territories” as they were before they got consolidated into what we know of them today, was really insightful. Being Canadian, I especially enjoyed the reminiscence of wrestlers of my youth th ...more

I have an obsession with reading professional wrestlers autobiographies and I've been reading on the average 2 to 3 per month for the past year. When I came across "Pin Me Pay Me" I became excited to read it because most wrestlers autobiographies are WWE published and are usually about all the wrestling stars that became huge in the industry. Bobby's book was great because it gave a fresh view to the reader from a wrestler who had made it to the big time and helped several of the main event guys ...more

If you really want an inside look at the Pro wrestling world from a strait shooter this is the book for you. Bobby Blaze takes you on a journey of a Pro wrestler from working High school gyms to the big time stage of WCW. Blaze takes you to the locker room, on the road and in the ring. His life in and out of the ring will keep you reading and not put the book down. A very interesting read with stories of some of you're favorite wrestlers. A definite 5 star read. One of the best wrestling books ...more

An absolutely fascinating read. Really can't recommend this enough - have now read it several times and it loses none of its charm. Bobby is an open, honest and warm narrator, and there's so much in here that you really won't read in any other wrestling book.

Hat's off to you Bobby - five stars (again!)
