The ending had me flabbergasted. It was a beautiful ending. Zero's sacrifice was so heart-wrenching and yet was necessary. I'm thoroughly satisfied with this story.

Después del tomo 5 la historia se puso muy interesante. El final de este tomo es muy bueno también.

These books are impossible to find! We have the first one in paperback form at home, but while I was looking on Amazon, the second volume of this series was over £70 for a new copy...
Having read both Nightmare of Nunally and Suzaku of the Counterattack, before I completed this series, it was really nice to see Lulu killing lots of people, and why he did it. This series is one which really makes you think... Kinda like Death Note. You know that what the people are doing is for the right thing, and you can understand why the other side are doing what they are doing and I'm not making much sense?
Just, if you can find it, read it!
Or watch the anime. That's apparently very very good

I originally started reading this title because CLAMP had some input into the series. What I do like about is not just that the characters are conflicted, but frankly that the main character Lelouch is pretty ruthless about seeing through his goal of liberating Japan from Britain's rule in this alternate history tale. And, because of his methods he might not be the hero of this tale.
