This is a nice collection of short stories that are moderately entertaining. I was hoping the stories would be more dirty, based on the title, but they were more harlequin romance than dirty erotica. Some of the situations are considered kinky but overall I would describe them as merely adventurous. Compared to many other collections I've reviewed, they are quite tame so I'm going to let my summary of each story stand as my review. Some are good, some not, overall an okay book for those seeking sweet not saucy.

1. Fucking Around by Marie Lynn Bernard - A woman searches the US to replace her New York lover by experimenting with many other lovers only identified by their city
2. Live Tonight by Saskia Walker - A woman is turned on by the beat of live music
3. Just Another Girl on the Train by Catherine Lundoff - A woman explores voyeurism with a surprise when she's found out - Anonymous sex
4. Beautiful Creature by Kristina Wright - A one night stand with bondage and spanking
5. In the Name Of… by Isabelle Gray - A woman fantasizes about watching her husband with another woman
6. Cheesy Boots by L. Elise Bland - A dominatrix twists the fantasy of a client who had asked for boot licking by adding fragrant fromage

24. A Prayer to Be Made Cocksure by Melissa Gira - Putrid poetic garbage that doesn't belong in this book
25. All About Hearts by Sage Vivant - Romantic love making in a hospital with a kinky twist
26. The Next Thing by Gina de Vries - The confusing confession of a young dyke as she reflects on her past and her future as she gets ready for a major life transition

Since Dirty Girls: Erotica for Women features a wide assortment of erotic short stories written by and for women, there are probably stories that push your buttons. However, the corollary is that at the same time there are probably some stories that do not. Most stories focus on female pleasure and orgasms, except for one story with only men. From the NSFW cover and the printed-on fingerprints, one would have expected more dirt and less romance. However, there was an interesting mix of kinks and writing styles.

Pretty good. My first time reading an erotica collection. I was disappointed with the half-assed attempt at stream-of-consciousness in the story "A Prayer to Be Made Cocksure"--especially since the first two pages were so confusing that I thought the story was about two men. The rest of the stories were quite good and usually worked an unexpected angle.

A good mix of rather naughty with quite romantic! I think my favorite in this collection was The Mile High Club, it was a nice mix of sweet and dirty, and also makes me miss the times when we could fly on airplanes without a worry.
