Sinners on Tour #6

Sinners at the Altar

Rate this book
Even Sinners need love...

Sinners at the Altar
includes four complete wedding stories, each about a different member of the rock band Sinners. These novellas are intended to be read after the Sinners on Tour series as each story is an epilogue to a different book in the series and thus riddled with major spoilers for not only individual books, but in some cases, the entire series.

When Sinners tie the knot, things don't always go as planned.

Appetite for Seduction - Epilogue to Backstage Pass
Lead guitarist Brian Sinclair may have finally won Professor Myrna Evans heart and her consent to wed, but being part of a high-maintenance band might just ruin his long-anticipated wedding day and steamy wedding night. Will the couple ever find a moment's peace or are some things more important than a night of uninhibited love-making?

Sweet Love of Mine - Epilogue to Wicked Beat
Drummer Eric Sticks is determined to marry sweet and sassy soundboard operator, Rebekah Blake, on the spur of the moment. But can he really offer the love of his life the wedding of her dreams in a small, unplanned ceremony? And can Rebekah offer Eric the one thing missing from his life that never realized he wanted?

Patience - Epilogue to Rock Hard
Lead singer Sed Lionheart never really wanted a big fancy wedding. He just wanted the girl. But his hot-tempered fiancee, Jessica Chase, has her heart set on a memorable ceremony and she is determined to persist through the aggravation to have the wedding of her dreams. The ceremony turns out to be memorable, all right, but not necessarily in the way they'd planned. Can the stressed-out couple recognize what's really important on their wedding day, or is the honeymoon over before it even begins?

November Rain - Epilogue to Hot Ticket
Professional dominatrix Aggie "Mistress V" Martin is madly in love with bassist Jace Seymour, but she's not in any real hurry to marry him. She's not really the wife "type". That all changes the moment she lays eyes on the perfect place to say "I do". With more than one obstacle in their path to wedded bliss, will these two ever make it down the aisle or will everything fall apart at the whim of others?

A treat for all Sinner’s fans. We have four separate extended epilogues/novellas for four of our Sinner boy’s trips down the isle.

You DO NOT want to read this book if you haven’t read the entire Sinners on Tour series. There would be some major spoilers.

Appetite for Seduction is the epilogue for Brian and Myrna from Backstage Pass.

Sweet Love of Mine is the epilogue for Eric and Rebekah from Wicked Beat.

Patience is the epilogue for Sed and Jessica from Rock Hard.

November Rain is the epilogue for Jace and and Aggie from Hot Ticket.

So, I guess you’ve probably noticed that my favorite Sinner (Trey) isn’t listed above... that is because the wonderful Olivia Cunning has decided Trey deserves another book. I am all on board with that! Dare Mills (Trey’s brother) will be getting the first Exodus End book, and from what I hear, Trey will get the second! SO EXCITING!!!

The Sinners are my favorite fictional rock band. I love these books. All the guys stories were good, but Eric’s really stood out to me. It’s so strange, Eric was my least favorite member in Backstage Pass, but after reading the entire series, after Trey, he is my next favorite. He is just so sweet and there is something special about him.

This was full of humor, love and of course the steam you expect when reading a O. Cunning book. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to all Sinners fans.

This is SO Brian to me... just love the gif!

Ennie meenie, miney mo...which wedding do you like best?

Ahem...my award for the best wedding goes to....Jace and Aggie!!

First up is Appetite for Seduction (Epilogue to Backstage Pass)...Brian and Myrna's wedding. Definitely carefree and FUN. I won't spoil the type of wedding but let's just say it happens in Vegas.

description

♥ "When I look at you, I see radiance. I know pure happiness. Everything else pales in comparison. The thought of living a single moment without you tears me apart inside. Just when I think I love you as much as possible, you open your heart to me a little more, and my love expands—grows—wanting to fill every emptiness inside you.” ♥

Second is Sweet Love of Mine (Epilogue to Wicked Beat)...Eric and Rebekah's wedding. Really weird and really loving. Let's just say that Eric really surprised me...well, not really. We all know that he's a really sweetie.

description

♥ “Forever was just a word until I met you. Now it’s a promise. A dream. My cherished reality. I love you forever, Rebekah. My love. My wife.” ♥

Third is Patience (Epilogue to Rock Hard)...Sed and Jessica's wedding. You wouldn't have guessed it but Sed gets bossed around and Jessica lets her hair down. It's everything they wanted and nothing they thought they would get. Oh, and throw in some Mother-in-law-from-hell fun.

description

♥ “There are few things that steal my breath. They would be you, you, you. And few things that I’ll love ‘til death. Also you, you, you. From the moment that you caught my eye, and I knew I had to make you mine, I wondered if I should give my heart to you. I do, I do, I do.” ♥

Lastly is November Rain (Epilogue to Hot Ticket)...Jace and Aggie's wedding. Definitely different with a fun twist. At first, I was "oh no" but it really made things interesting!

description

♥ “Wife, who I love above all things and will cherish until the day I die. My wife. My one. My only love. My Aggie. My wife.” ♥

You might be wondering about Trey...well, OC states he has another book coming in the Exodus End series which is good because Trey is just not ready for marriage. It still felt weird that his is not included. :(

I enjoyed all the different weddings but mostly I loved how sweet and romantic...and loving they all were. Of course, there is plenty of sex...that's a given! It was great to have the dual POVs and to get what some of the guys thought! It was really great seeing how the guys are with each other and how the Sinner family is all coming together. And I love that the story titles fit so well.

Looking forward to the next books, Sinners in Paradise (their honeymoons) and possibly Sinners Rock the Cradle (with their babies of course!).

Recommendation:

If you love the Sinners, you don't want to miss this book. Like I said above, it was great reading how sweet and romantic our favorite rockers can be.

Favorite quotes:

♥ “When you marry a band member, you always marry into the band.”

♥ “That’s when I fell in love with you, you know. The minute you started talking about head gaskets and carburetor intakes, I was a goner.”

♥ “On your knees in that dress,” he said with a laugh. “Hottest fucking thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I should have taken a picture.”

Im sure you can guess what this book is about just by looking at the title. There was quite a bit sickly sweet I love you's but it was steamy hot so can't complain about that.

I still have a hard time deciding which Sinner is my favourite. I still think they are each unique in their own ways and I cant help be in love with each and every one.

What makes this series so special is the way the guys are with each other. Their playful banter is still my favourite thing about the series and yup still my favourite rock group ever. Just remember one thing about this book: there are 4 couples so expect loads of sex. Enjoy x

Title: Sinners At the Altar
Series: Sinners on Tour #6
Author: Oliva Cunning
Release Date: March, 2014
Rating: 4 stars
Cliffhanger:. No
HEA:

Sinners at the altar is an epilogue novel that contains 4 awesome stories of the sexiest weddings ever. Appetite for Seduction, Sweet Love of Mine, Patience and November Rain were purely awesome!

I’ve waited a very long time to get my greedy little hands on Sinners At The Altar and my expectations were pretty high. As a serious Sinners’ groupie this anthology was strongly anticipated by me and I wanted it to be of the charts sweet, sexy and NAUGHTY.Olivia Cunning created my favorite rockers and god did I need my sexy dose of bad and dirty in Sed, Brian, Eric, Jace and Trey style!

And yeah it was as dirty as it should be!Hell yeah, did Olivia turned the heat on with this book! It was BLAZING! Full of sex (as naughty and dirty as ever), full of sweet, romantic moments (there were some times when swooning and melting in the poodle of goe was necessary) and so full of LOVE I wanted to die being all fluffy. My panties are still on fire.

Now, give me please Trey’s story. I REALLY NEED IT.

4 *SEXY SED* stars!

This rating is only for Sed's story which is the only one I read because, quite frankly, I don't really care what happened with the rest of the band.

Review to come.

This is such a hard one to rate since I felt differently about each story. I'll be brief in my ramblings and rank the stories from favorite to least.

#1 - Eric (4 stars)

THIS is what I felt was missing from his individual book. We finally get some of his background and delve more into the vulnerable part of him. I'm hoping we'll get even more in the future anthologies. And as usual with Eric Sticks, you get a fantastic mix of

AND

Tied for #2 - Brian (3.5 stars)

Brian and Myrna's story was nothing but a fuckfest. The end.

Tied for #2 - Jace (3.5 stars)

I REALLY liked Jace's book and was expecting a lot from his novella. I think his individual book had the most depth and this had similar emotions but I didn't like some of the twists and surprises that were thrown in. Even with that, Jace's special flavor of steam certainly didn't disappoint and I fell a little more in love with his shyness and loving side.

#3 - Sed (2.5 stars)

One word. Jessica. I just don't like her. She's bitchy and whiny and annoying and self-centered and did I mention annoying? GRRRRRRR Seriously, she ruins anything having to do with Sed, who I LOVE!

So even though Sed's all about

I just want to scream

And there you have it.

From the author's website:

*SPOILERS AHEAD IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE SINNERS ON TOUR SERIES!!!*

1. Appetite for Seduction
“Running parallel with the events of Rock Hard, Appetite for Seduction, shows the story of Brian Sinclair and Myrna Evan’s wedding day in Las Vegas from their point of view. Their wedding night festivities are interrupted by Trey’s little accident.”

2. Sweet Love of Mine
“Directly following the book Wicked Beat, Sweet Love of Mine, is the courthouse wedding of Eric Sticks and Rebekah Blake followed by their wedding night. Aww, isn’t Eric sweet?

3. Patience
“After months of planning, Sed and Jessica’s big day almost ends in disaster. Can the rest of the band save the day, before Jessica becomes a bridezilla? Patience is set several months after Double Time.”

4. November Pain
“Jace and Aggie decide to tie the knot. Is anything they do conventional? Yeah, probably not. This one takes place near the end of the Exodus End series– a year after Double Time. But I PROMISE not to include Exodus End spoilers.”

5. Choose Your Illusion
“This is Reagan and Trey’s epilogue. It occurs well after the Exodus End series is completely finished, so more than two years after Double Time.”

***This story will not be included in the anthology. It will be part of a full-length novel about Trey called Outsider (book #2 in the Exodus End series)***

I was considering reviewing this couple by couple... but changed my mind. Each of the characters had their own set of challenges to hurdle to finally get to the finish line, or in this case, the alter.

I think the least complicated story was Brian & Myrna. They were after all, the first to tie the knot. The only real trouble these two had was Myrna's insecurities over Trey. With Sed & Jessica the love was there, the fire & passion not too far away. The only thing in their way was the soon to be mother-in-law-from-hell. Eric & Rebekah's story felt far more touching. These two are complete odd-balls, but Eric is far more vulnerable than he lets on. His humor the perfect shield to hide behind. Jace has always been one of my favorite Sinners. Something about his shyness that has always found a way to get to my heart. His and Aggie's story took a weird twist that I wasn't behind 100%. However, there were two moments with this story that allowed the weird stuff to fade away...

The definition of wife and the moment when Aggie's walking down the Aisle... These two were so touching to see the man that struggled so much with his feelings to expose them in such a way.

Overall, I liked this sappy epilogue bonus but did not find that I loved it. I don't know if I really need this much closure to tie up the series (although we get the honeymoon stories still). I need far more angst with my stories and I get that this was not expected to be full stories. It was just a little too long for me, for what it was supposed to be.

This book is about the weddings of all of the rock band members except for Trey. He would need to go to Utah for that shit.

First, we have Brian and Myrna. Let me start by saying that we already read about their wedding in Vegas, sooooo.......... yeah, a little boring. The only good part of this story was when Brian referred to Sed and Jessica as the "jackass and his trophy stripper." That almost makes me like Brian. Almost. If he wasn't such a boring and serious jerk.

Next wedding is Eric and Rebekah's. And, although Eric is my favorite of the band members, this story was slightly boring too. It was mainly the two of them at a costume shop having sex in the dressing room and trying on outfits. Meh, been there, done that, bought the t-shirt.

Then, there is Sed and Jessica's wedding. Now, I hate Jessica the most out of everyone, so imagine my delight to read that their wedding was a total disaster! Bwuahaha! (sorry, my evil villain laugh is too appropriate here.) Everything goes wrong and Jessica's mother shows us where she got her "bitch" gene.

"You have got to be the biggest slut to ever wear white on her wedding day."

With a mom like that, who needs enemies! I mean, she's right, of course, but she maybe shouldn't say it on her daughter's wedding day. Besides, I'm sure there are bigger sluts than Jessica. Porn stars. Crack whores. Congress.

And, we finally get to the last wedding of the book - Jace and Aggie. They are the wildest ones, so we are going to get something epic, right? Ummm.... if you consider the Haunted Mansion ride at Disney to be creepy, you might like it. Or, if you think Casper the Friendly Ghost is spine-chilling, you might like it. Or, if you are amazed by the special effects in the first Ghostbusters movie, this one is for you. Yes, it was that stupid awesome.

Seriously? Ghosts? That's what you come up with for Jace & Aggie? Out of ideas, were we? Cuz, almost anything else would have been better. Anything. At all.

So, I read the prologue:
You might have noticed that Trey’s wedding story is missing from Sinners at the Altar. There is a good reason for that. I’m writing a full-length novel for Reagan in the forthcoming five-book Exodus End series. So you’ll get plenty more of Trey in his next novel. I felt a lot of Trey’s story—and Reagan’s and Ethan’s—was left unfinished in Double Time. So I decided they needed a second book. Good things come to those who wait.
No Trey?!?!

I agree, things were left VERY unfinished...
That's why I was excited to read this!

Slight spoilers

Brian and Myrna... 4 stars
I wish we knew what or if Trey and Myrna had talked about when he helped her zip up her dress. I also didn't care for how much Trey consumed Myrna's thoughts on her wedding day. She has a legit reason to be concerned and the conversation needed to occur. Just wish it hadn't been on their wedding day.

Eric and Rebekah... 4 stars
Eric's story can't be over!!!! That was a mini cliffhanger!!!

Sed and Jessica... 4 stars
Why did Jessica have to be such a bi!!h about their wedding dinner!!! Wrong place, wrong time for that discussion. Kind of ruined his surprise for me.

Jace and Aggie... 5 stars!!!
I just live Jace and Browney!! At first the ghost thing was a little strange but, it worked in the end

Trey... I like him better single! Never have liked Ethan. Trey is a free spirit that needs a new love!!!!!

Dare... Can't wait for his story and I hope it isn't with Starr! Please no!!

This book is actually 4 epilogues from previous books in the Sinners series. Trey will be getting a complete book later on (as part of the Exodus End series). These epilogues include the weddings of Brian/Myrna, Sed/Jess, Eric/Rebekah and Jace/Aggie.

Appetite for Seduction - Brian’s story
Nothing new here, most of it we already knew from previous books. We get some kinky sex (one specific scene didn’t work for me, I have no idea what Myrna was trying to prove) and Myrna facing her insecurities about Brian’s feelings for Trey. Brian is my favourite Sinner and although most of the scenes sounded repetitive/familiar, it was fun to reconnect with this couple.
3 stars

Sweet Love of Mine - Eric’s story
This one was a great surprise. We get new insight about Eric and Rebekah, individually and as a couple. The epilogue shows us how good they are together, a partnership of soul mates. I loved how Rebekah’s issues with her family are truly resolved and how Eric finally finds a family that welcomes him with open arms. Eric comes across as an adorable and thoughtful man and Rebekah is mature, lovable and sweet. This was by far the most emotional epilogue.
5 stars

Patience – Sed’s story
I love Sed but in this epilogue he comes across as completely p*ssy-whipped, it’s almost sad to see. I don’t like his relationship with Jess because she’s a domineering Barbie doll. The only thing that really works for them is sex, the rest of the time they’re either annoyed or angry. She gets upset when he . She sounds like a control freak and I just can’t picture them together for very long. The wedding itself was a disaster too, with Sed doubting until the end if she was going to ditch him again. I kept hoping Sed would grow a backbone at some point.
2 stars

November Rain – Jace’s story
This epilogue was just plain odd. We get a person from Aggie’s past popping out of nowhere, I haven’t decided yet if this person was relevant to the story. We also get some strange paranormal going-ons and I can’t decide what purpose they served either. It was almost like the author was trying to find things to fill the pages. Overall the epilogue worked though because Jace and Aggie are great together, they complement each other perfectly. I loved watching how Jace opens up with her so we feel their unconditional love. Although they look tough from the outside, this is by far the sweetest couple.
4 stars

I loved all of their wedding vows!

Don't get me wrong here with the 3 star rating, i loved this & really wanted to give this more than just 3 stars even if only because i loved these characters in their other books in this series but really just wanted more from these wedding stories than we got.

Although, In saying that we did get lots of humour thrown in amongst these 4 shorts. We got Plenty of friendly teasing & banter between the boys, lots of one liners, lots of hotness and plenty of sentimental mush.
Sadly, while I wasn't a fan of the ghosts in Jace's story, I did love the way we got to see all his emotions come to the surface and see him show & tell Aggie exactly how he felt.
Was also wanting more from Sed & Jessica in their story, their wedding story was cute but i felt like there wasn't really anything new of significance we learnt from/about them.
Can never get enough of Sticks, with his inner sentimental self & comedy & Reb.
And who could ever be disappointed with Master Sinclair & Myrna? I liked that their tale filled in the missing detail from the novels.
Also loved the idea of the Sinner's wedding tradition of the garter! That to me really shows just how much these boys are more than a band but are actually a perfectly matched, fully functioning, dysfunctional family!

I did really enjoy reading this collection but just not as much as the full length novels. Maybe that is just me being greedy? I Am always happy to read more about the Sinners boys & their ladies though.

Also looking forward to more with the Exodus End stories to come, am interested in learning more about Dare after his far too brief appearances in this collection.

I think it's odd that these books and side stories are all being published out of order, but I'm guessing the author didn't make this call, so I guess there's not much to be done.

Hopefully the cover will improve before pub date though!

Sinners at the altar
Sinners at the Altar (Sinners on Tour Series) by Olivia Cunning
Rock Star Romance. 4 epilogues in one. Can not be read alone.
Mmmmmmmm......Sinners. This is the series that started me reading erotic romances, and one of the reasons I started this blog. I absolutely love the combination of romance, humor, fun, sweetness and kinky, dirty (but not too too dirty) hot sex in theses books. I pre-ordered this puppy the day it went live and couldn't wait to read it.

For some reason, it took me three whole weeks to read. I picked up other books in between, partially because I had commitments, but partially because, as much as I loved these characters, this book was long and had trouble holding my interest. I think it's the format of 4 novellas in one. I was afraid to settle in and get comfy reading the individual stories, because I didn't know when they would end. Had these been releases as separate novellas, I think I would have enjoyed them more.

Sinners at the Altar" target="_blank">Sinners at the Altar is the wedding epilogue of four of the 5 Sinners. Trey will get his own book as part of the Exodus End Series (I can't wait!). I enjoyed each story individually, but as I said, I had a little trouble settling in with them.
Appetite for Seduction - Brian and Myrna, epilogue to Backstage Pass" target="_blank">Backstage Pass
I love Master Sinclair. And Myrna is just perfect for him, she is strong, but so is he. They are the 'lightest' couple, without much baggage, and the most fun, so when the wedding is in Vegas, they do it right.
"When I look at you, I see radiance. I know pure happiness. Everything else pales in comparison. The thought of living a single moment without you tears me apart inside. Just when I think I love you as much as possible, you open your heart to me a little more, and my love expands—grows—wanting to fill every emptiness inside you.”

Now the thing about this one was that I expected it to end after the wedding and celebratory sex scene, but there was so much more. I think turning the page after each chapter, expecting it to be the next story really hindered my enjoyment  of this one, because really, it was a great story. Though we didn't learn much more about the couple, it had been a really long time since I read Backstage Pass, so it was great to revisit one of my favorite kinky couples.

And Kinky they were! While Myrna is usually the one who takes charge a little more, I liked to see Brian step up.
"He tugged her hair more aggressively. 'Don't disobey me. I'm in control here. Slide your fingers inside that pussy and tell me how wet you are."

Likes:

•Loved revisiting Brian and Myrna
•HOLY HOT SEX!
•Myrna's closeness and 'marriage' to the whole band

Dislikes:

•Myrna was a bit too jealous of Trey (though she had every right to be).
•I never knew when it would end and had trouble relaxing and settling in with it.
•Felt a little too long (crazy, I know.)

Rating: 4 stars, 5+ Heat

Sweet Love of Mine - Eric and Rebekah, epilogue to Wicked Beat" target="_blank">Wicked Beat
By far my favorite of the book. This was the most emotional because Erik has never had a family to love him, and marrying Rebekah not only brought him her love, but her whole family. Knowing that they are a strange couple, Eric takes her to a costume shop to pick out something fun and unique to wear for their wedding. But when he sees her look longingly at a hideous costume wedding dress, he realizes she may be more traditional than he thought.
"He had a pathological need to bring her as much joy as she brought him"

Eric used humor to cover his real emotions, and he is a funny guy so this one was also the funniest of the four stories and absolutely the most touching.
“Forever was just a word until I met you. Now it’s a promise. A dream. My cherished reality. I love you forever, Rebekah. My love. My wife.”

Likes:

•Eric is so sweet and thoughtful and funny! He just became my favorite sinner.
•Eric's acceptance into Rebekah's family when he has none of his own.
•Erik's insecurities were dealt with so well.
•The orgasm contest and the dressing room.

Dislikes:

•Not knowing how much was left.

Rating: 4.75 stars, 5+ Heat

Patience – Sed and Jessica, Epilogue to Rock Hard" target="_blank">Rock Hard
Well, I didn't love Jessica in Rock Hard, but the beginning of this story made me like her even less. She was a bit whiney and her mother was a horrible shrew. No ender where she gets it! I don't hate her or anything, but she didn't win brownie points with me. She was a Bridezilla and her mom was Bridezilla squared, trying to make it a celebrity wedding and inviting people the couple didn't even know. But though Jess is a stand up bitch most of the time, she never stood up to her mom before this.

Sed came off as a bit pussy whipped in Patience, but luckily, Jess grew on me a bit when she finally let loose a little in this story. But she really irked me in the beginning. Then, she was back to bugging me again. Everything was a competition or a fight with her. She couldn't just enjoy her husband pampering her because it made him happy. He would do anything to make her happy.

We know how much Sed and Jessica like to do it in public places, well at least 4 public and a few private spaces were violated in this story, including in front of all the guests at the wedding!
"I love you!" he yelled. "You matter to me more than anything. I don't want to live a single moment without you in my life."

Likes:

•Sed is so romantic!
•Jessica finally standing up for her man.
•Jessica letting loose and enjoying herself.
•Sed's song.

Dislikes:

•Jessica's mother--ugh what a bitch.
•Jessica was not willing to ever let Sed get his way because it made him happy. Everything was about what she wanted, not what he wanted.
•The balloon scene was a bit creepy, that poor pilot.

Rating: 3 stars. 5+ Heat

November Rain – Jace and Aggie, Epilogue to Hot Ticket" target="_blank">Hot Ticket
Well this one was just weird! I don't mind a paranormal story sometimes, but not the addition of a paranormal element to an already established non-paranormal series. Luckily Jace and Aggie's devotion really stood out in this one, because a lot of the storyline didn't really work for me.

First, someone from Aggie's past shows up. There was one particularly hot scene, but I really didn't like her. Then, Jace and Aggie tour old castles during the European leg of their tour, and there is a whole ghost/possession story that goes on. It was actually a cute story line, but I just felt it didn't work in this series.

I love how Jace and Aggie compliment each other. She is a super strong Domme, but though Jace enjoys pain, he isn't submissive, a challenge Aggie likes.
"Panties off," he growled, too far gone to think about what he was doing.

"No wonder you love this guy. He fucks like a maniac. Jesus, how many times did he make you come?"

Though Jace could be all alpha, Aggie still had issues getting married...well not really married, but becoming a wife.

Until Jace explained all that a wife is to him...
"...Wife, the only one who holds my body, who holds my heart"..."Wife, the owner of the only body I desire."..."Wife, who accepts me into her body, holds me within, blinds me with pleasure."... “Wife, who I love above all things and will cherish until the day I die. My wife. My one. My only love. My Aggie. My wife.”

Likes:

•Jace and Aggie are a strange couple, but she really knows him and just what he needs.
•I really enjoyed seeing more of the dynamic of this couple, and how she was different with him.
•Jace is so in love, and she is so perfect for him, you can't help but love them together.

Dislikes:

•The paranormal elements just didn't belong.
•I did not like Starr at all.

Rating: 3.5 stars, 4.5 Heat

I can't wait to read Trey's book. He gets his very own! All in all, I really enjoyed this book. But it was very long. I would have been much happier to pick up one every few months, since each story was over 100 pages. Jace and Aggie's book would have been great to release during Halloween and I would have rated it higher. There was lots of the sex that we love the Sinners for, lots of the fun banter among bandmates, and lots of the sweetness and romance.

But not knowing how long each book was going in definitely hindered my enjoyment. So for your own knowledge, each book is about the same length and takes up about 25% of the book. I think if each story was shorter (which they easily could be) or each one was released separately I would have enjoyed them all more.

Overall Rating: 3.75 Stars 5+++ Heat

I listening to the audio version of this book.

Appetite for Seduction - Epilogue to Backstage Pass
Time: 0-3:07

3-3.5 stars

This was a good epilogue. It covers from when Brian and Myrna wake up the morning of their wedding through them going to sleep that evening. There's some sweet and a lot of sex and also some issues having to do with Trey.

Sweet Love of Mine - Epilogue to Wicked Beat
Time:3:07-6:46

4-4.5 stars

This epilogue for Eric and Rebekah was really good. Once Rebekah gets her clear screening, they run off to get married ASAP. Along the way, Eric realizes that maybe Rebekah deserves more than a courthouse wedding and sets up a surprise wedding and a sweet kick off to their HEA.

Patience - Epilogue to Rock Hard
Time:6:46-10:31

4 stars

This was a very good epilogue. It covers Jessica and Sed's wedding day from morning to the end. The wedding day is kind of a mess (many things go wrong and Jessica's horrible mother just makes things worse) but Jessica and Sed are able to make the day work for them and end the night in a special way.

November Rain - Epilogue to Hot Ticket
Time: 10:31-15:22

3-3.5 stars

This was a good epilogue. Jace and Aggies' story was interesting and a bit longer than the others. The end up finding the perfect place for their wedding but there's a small matter of a venue that's being haunted by the ghosts of lovers separated by death. TBH, The ghost part didn't really help the story along...it was more of a distraction from the romance part of the story. Still, overall it was a nice addition and I liked seeing Aggie and Jace get their HEA.

Overall, this was a pretty good anthology or epilogues and it was kind of nice to see but they didn't really add much to the story of the couples. So reading this isn't really needed to finish the stories but it's a nice addition if you want to spend the money.

I loved this collection of short stories which showed the four different ways 4 out of the 5 Sinners lads tied the knot. True to Sinners style, nothing ever goes smoothly for any of them, making for some great reading.

I found that I liked Eric and Sed's stories the best. Brian's was sweet, too and of course Jace is a total sweetie, but the whole haunting thing I didn't really buy, considering there had never been any hint at supernatural components in any of the books previously. I love paranormal reads, but this really did feel out of place here.

I love Sinners so much. I look forward to the next one (got to stretch them out so they don't finish too quickly).

Leigh‘s review posted on Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews

5 STARS

I’m not sure how to review this book without melting down into fangirl mode, but Sinners at the Altar was a completely fun, raunchy, hot, sweet and sexy ride with the boys from the Sinners.
Since each wedding takes place at differing times in the series, it’s almost impossible to review this book without giving away pieces of what happens in each prior story. If you have not read the entire Sinners series, stop reading right now and for goodness sake, go pick up Backstage Pass and get started!

SPOILER ALERT!
Although not technically a stand alone book in its own right, Sinners at the Altar is comprised of four smaller novellas that serve as the epilogues to most of the relationships in the prior Sinners’ stories. And did I ever love catching up with these guys again. Foul mouthed, complex, caring and completely outlandish, each one of these men are just a treat, and their wives are just as much of a riot. I like each and every one of them and have a hard time trying to decide who is my favorite. I love each couple for different reasons.

Appetite for Seduction. After reading this, Brian and Myrna are probably my favorite couple! Brian “Master” Sinclair is the guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. Completely obsessed with the woman who seems game to try anything, and is usually the one to suggest it, Brian has known he wanted to marry Myrna from the moment he met her. Since we already know what happens between the two of them in later stories, watching their wedding basically just fills in the gaps….with a lot of really hot strap-on sex!

Sweet Love of Mine. After reading this, Eric and Rebekah are probably my favorite couple! Eric is goofy and never takes anything serious. Which is why it makes it all the more endearing that he plans the dream wedding for Rebekah behind her back. Watching the jokester that never had a family suddenly find himself with so many people to love him is just heart-wrenchingly sweet, and his and Rebekah’s penchant for role playing is adorable and unbelievably sexy.

Patience. After reading this, Sed and Jessica are probably my favorite couple! He’s huge, muscular, gorgeous, dominant, forceful, take charge…and I seem to have distracted myself. Anyway, his and Jessica’s wedding showed that nothing mattered but the two of them on their special day. Jessica is hilariously blunt and the two of them together, with their penchant for public sex, are just smoking hot.

November Rain. After reading this, Jace and Aggie are probably my favorite couple! I have always loved the interaction between Jace and Aggie and how they both fulfill the needs of the other in their deepest, darkest places. Their relationship is the most intense and in my opinion, the most interesting. Their wedding was perfect for them as it brought in a darker paranormal element which I truly enjoyed, and showed a softer, more sensitive side to Jace. Reading about him meeting Aggie halfway down the aisle brought tears to my eyes, as did him explain what he felt when he called her his wife. The sex between them is dark and gritty and makes me want to abandon my submissive side and learn to wield a whip just for him.

Sinners at the Altar has just cemented my total groupie status for Olivia Cunning. It was sweet, funny, touching, completely raunchy and a blast. I only have two criticisms of this book. Where is Trey’s happily ever after?? And how long do I have to wait until I get my next Sinners fix?

Loved this book! It once again reminded me why I love the Sinners so much. Out of all the rocker books, they are my favorite. Their such lovable, fun, sexy guys that have this unmistakable bond and connect so well like brothers.

Since this was sort of an anthology going through all their weddings one by one. I want to focus on each character one by one:

Brian
I love all the guys. But my top favorite has always been Brian. IMO he is the perfect man. And one of my favorite fictional men of all time. He is loving, sweet, thoughtful, & considerate. Yet at the same time he's this kinky naughty sex beast that'll try anything once. His kinkiness & so uninhibited is such a turn on! I really can't say enough how much I love him. Might have to take him away from Myrna myself lol

Sed
Its wonderful how Sed has come full circle. I remember the days when he was have foursomes and threesomes with groupies to help take his mind off the heartbreak he felt with Jessica. So its refreshing to see how he's turned into such a sweetheart. He's so considerate of Jessica. You can feel that he cherished her so much. And that they cherish each other genuinely. I love the whole hot air balloon thing they did, I could picture everything so vividly and it was just beautiful.

Eric
Out of all the guys I think Eric may just have the biggest heart. His story tugged at my emotions the most with how he feels on the inside. How he feels so shocked that someone actually loves him. How he's not used to have love with everything that's happened in his childhood. I think Rebekah is perfect for him because they both have this hardships to overcome and I think they mesh together well overcoming their challenges together.

Jace
His story was definitely the most "out there" and a bit different than the rest. Is was sort of dark and almost had a mystery like feel to it. It was even kind of creepy at some moments. But I think him & Aggie are a bit out there so it makes sense that their story differs most dramatically from the rest. I think its sweet how he still has such a shyness about him & this humbleness that's endearing.

I can't wait to see Trey's story next with Reagan & Ethan since his wasn't included in this one. The sex throughout this book was deliciously hot and sexy. My fav sexual moments were probably Brian & Sed's stories. As usual Olivia Cunning never disappoints with her books. Looking forward to more Sinners with "Sinners in Paradise" & "Sinners Rock the Cradle" 5 STARS!!

Overall I enjoyed this anthology, though some stories were better than others (note it is NOT a stand alone if you have not read the entire Sinners series).

1. Brian and Myrna - loved seeing these two again. Their connection is super sweet and deliciously hot at the same time. I think they may be my fave couple of them all. 4 stars

2. Eric and Rebekah - Eric is a fave of mine because he often has a shield of humour to protect him from everyone. I love how he lets Reb in. I really enjoyed their story because it showed the depth of feelings they have for each other. I hope we get to see more of Eric's story as he searches for his mother. 4 stars

3. Sed and Jess - hmmm....I found Jessica whiny in this one. I enjoyed their book, but I didn't love this story. I hated their "public" sex in the balloon. It didn't come across as hot to me, I thought it was smutty and gross. 2.5 stars

4. Jace and Aggie - There were moments of a wonderful and intense connection between Jace and Aggie (like when he explains to her what a wife is to him) and I loved, loved, LOVED those parts but the paranormal element ruined the story for me. Such a disappointment. 2.5 stars

I just realized that I never actually finished this series. Oops. It does look like I'm getting pretty close to doing so though. In Sinners at the Altar, you will get some short stories or epilogues in a way of certain people getting married. Each story was all kinds of cheesy and had some drama within it but it ultimately made me happy to see everyone getting their little happily ever after with their loved ones. Plus seeing the whole band being happy and shit just made me even happier.

The one thing that was missing though was Trey's freaking happiness. My poor little nugget deserves love as well guys. So other than fangirling about him and his brother getting a book.. well let's just say that I don't really have a favorite wedding out of everyone that did get married. They all just seemed unique and fun to that couple - which in the end is all that matters.

Brian and Myrna – Married and still Tre comes between them because Myrna knows Tre is in love with Brian. Sigh more drama.
Eric and Rebecca – court house wedding, Rebecca is dealing with a lot emotionally. Eric really did make their wedding day special.
Sed and Jessica – Man she let her mother go wild for their wedding. She had no back bone and then all of a sudden she does. I don’t buy it. I liked that their wedding day was all messed up when it was supposed to be all prim and proper it just made that real.
Aggie and Jace- The ghost stuff was odd. I liked the rest of it kind of Aggie keeping secrets was a bit odd but whatever.
Narration was great.

The only explanation is that I am a glutton for punishment. I wanted to do an experiment and see if the awfulness of Backstage Pass had been an isolated fluke, since several book bloggers I follow wax lyrical about Olivia Cunning. The result is sadly a loud NO WAY! from me. This is as inane as the first and soooooo bad that it only got a one star from me. I am done with this series. Every sex scene, and there are way too many, was sheer torture. Goodbye Sinners on tour. Shame I already have another instalment in my kindle.,
